Notes
- Warping counts as the unit's move for the turn. The unit can still perform an attack, Assist, or structure destruction after warping.
- Warping is unaffected by Obstruct 3, Guardian Seal, Captain's Sword, Vouge, Bulwark Passives, Stall, Gravity, Traverse Terrain, 【Divine Vein (Flame)】, and 【Pathfinder】.
- Warping can be obstructed by Detailed Report, 【Divine Vein (Green)】, and Warp Bubble, unless the warping unit has Pass 3, Fujin Yumi, or warps using a camp, fortress, or sigils.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Astral Breath is considered a temporary buff.
- The warping and temporary buffs effects of Astral Breath will only activate if the unit has their Ally Support partner deployed on the map.
- A unit with Queensblade will prevent Ally Support effects from triggering during combat.
- Effects granted to Ally Support partners during combat will not apply if they are inflicted with Feud or are in combat against a foe with skills such as Impenetrable Void and C Feud 3.
- Attacks that "calculate damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res" include attacks during combat and area-of-effect Specials.
- Close Ward, Mystic Boost 4, Divine Naga, Naga, Spirit Forest Writ, Splashy Bucket, and Splashy Bucket+ will disable this effect.
- Rare Talent, Aureola, Radiant Aureola, and Light and Dark II will disable this effect during combat, but not against area-of-effect Specials.
Upgrades
Can be upgraded in the Weapon Refinery. For a list of other such weapons, see list of upgradable weapons.
Notes
- The stat increase that can be applied by Refined Astral Breath is considered a Bonus.
- Refined Astral Breath applies the Dodge status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Dodge is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- The damage-reduction is calculated after offensive Specials and damage boosting effects such as Arcane Lúin and Dominance.
- If a skill such as Miracle or Everliving Domain can trigger, the damage-reduction effect will not trigger and the user will still survive with only 1 HP.
- Percentage-based damage-reduction effects stack multiplicatively, unlike interactions related to the weapon-triangle, such as Triangle Adept and the weapon-triangle advantage boost.
- For example, if both Buffer 4 and Godlike Reflexes activate, the maximum total damage-reduction is 70% instead of 90%, since the two skills reduce the damage to (1 − 50%) × (1 − 40%) = 30% of the original damage.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.

- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Dodge is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- The warping, bonuses and Dodge effects of Refined Astral Breath will only activate if the unit has their Ally Support partner deployed on the map.
- A unit with Queensblade will prevent Ally Support effects from triggering during combat.
- Effects granted to Ally Support partners during combat will not apply if they are inflicted with Feud or are in combat against a foe with skills such as Impenetrable Void and C Feud 3.
- The healing effect is triggered regardless if Refined Astral Breath's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Refined Astral Breath's healing effect will still trigger.
- Refined Astral Breath's user needs to survive the combat for the healing effect to trigger.
- Refined Astral Breath's healing effect stacks with skills such as Fury 4, that deal out of combat damage to their owner after combat.
- Refined Astral Breath's after combat healing will not work if the foe has a skill that prevents HP recovery such as Fatal Smoke 4 or Incurable+, or the user has been inflicted with Deep Wounds.
- The calculation of "spaces from start position to end position" counts the total number of spaces from the initiator's starting position to the end position before combat.
- The calculation includes spaces occupied by an ally with the 【Pathfinder】 effect.
- The start position used in the calculation references the initiator's starting position after being moved by sources of unit movement such as Reposition.
- The damage boosting effect of Astral Breath ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- Astral Breath will not neutralize the additional follow-up of 【Potent Follow X%】.
- Effects that are neutralized by Astral Breath:
- Effects that grant the foe a guaranteed follow-up such as Quick Riposte 4, Guaranteed Follow-Ups, or the Grand Conquests Cavalry area effect.
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
