Description | Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). At start of turn, if unit's HP ≤ 75% and unit's attack can trigger their Special, grants Special cooldown count-1, and deals +10 damage when Special triggers. |
Notes[ | ]
- Has the same effect as Wrath 3.
- The HP threshold and "if Special triggers by attacking" conditions apply both to the cooldown count and the +10 damage.
- Area-of-effect Specials are considered "triggered by attacking" and will gain +10 damage from Berserk Armads.
- Berserk Armads's cooldown count changing effect will not trigger if the unit is inflicted with False Start, unless False Start is neutralized by a skill such as Dream Deliverer.
- Cooldown count changes from skills that activate at the same time as Berserk Armads (at start of turn) are not considered in Berserk Armads's conditions.[1] Skills such as Infantry Pulse 4, Buffer 4, and Odd Pulse Tie 3 will have their effects stack.
- The damage boosting effect from activating a Special is a fixed +10 that ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- The added damage will also affect area-of-effect Specials such as Rising Flame and Growing Thunder.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.

- For the +10 damage, the HP threshold is checked at the point of Special activation, as opposed to start of combat.

- "If foe initiates combat" means if a foe triggers combat during the enemy phase. The unit being initiated upon does not need to deal damage, nor be able to counterattack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit being initiated upon must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The stat decrease that can be applied by Berserk Armads is considered a temporary debuff.
- Berserk Armads's healing effect will not work if the user is prevented from recovering HP during combat from effects such as Fatal Smoke 4, Incurable+, or Deep Wounds, unless the user has a skill that reduces the effect of Deep Wounds such as Special Fighter 4.
