Unlike the majority of mainstream Beruka builds, which focus on pumping her defense to obscene levels, this one instead holds a support role that allows her to give her allies a taste of her own tankiness. Be warned – because this is a buffing/support build, there are a lot of options as to what stat you want Beruka to buff.

Hagoita is the weapon of choice here – a prime weapon for those like its original wielder who prefer support roles. If you don't want to sack a NY!Azura, Groom Marth's Ardent Service can fulfill the same role, albeit with slightly different buffs. I personally prefer the Spur from Hagoita over the Hone of Ardent Service, but it's ultimately player preference.

Reposition and Bonfire/Ignis are standard parts of a Beruka build. The aforementioned specials are her main form of damage – that said, a Beruka built like this should be attempting to activate that Link skill as much as possible, and as such will probably not have many opportunities to directly initiate an attack.

Since the A skills are generally more about personal perks than ally buffs, any skill that bulks up Beruka's survivability will work here. Bracing Stance and Earth Boost are my two favorites, though Close Defense, Steady Stance, and Fortress Defense can work as well.

The B skill – the Link skill of your choice – is the key to this build. On her own, Beruka is an optimal Reposition candidate thanks to her status as a flier and her bulk. With Def/Res Link, Beruka can essentially activate Fortify Fliers buffs on anyone she wants. This, combined with the utility value of movement assists like Reposition, makes her a very potent support unit in of itself.

As this is a buff-based build, the C slot and Seals are extremely flexible and can be altered to enhance your team's strengths or patch up weaknesses.

Of course, depending on your own team needs, this Beruka can be repurposed into a mixed tank rather than solely Defense; this can be done easily by replacing all the Defense-related self boosts with Resistance.

With proper ally/summoner support, the arena buff, hones, fortifies, etc. Dorcas can easily reach over 50 Def and can peak in the 60's. H. Dorcas also has the single highest Atk in the game at 41 and can deal significant damage to most if not all units.

Basically aimed at making Effie really hard to kill. With Burkut's Lance haing a decent attack stat, she can still do some damage. Fierce stance will help to keep her alive against magic and/or dragons. Aegis is for mages specifically. Wary Fighter keeps her from being doubled. The seals accomplish more of the same.

Sky Olivia is an amazing upgrade from her normal version with great stats and an (almost) perfect base kit. She’s prepared to be a brave knight and fight for the Shepards.

While Skuld is not an actual weapon in Awakening, it is very useful to have as it boost all the stats to the ally she dances to.

Galeforce is a very important special for dancers and singers to have. Once Sky Olivia defeats an enemy, she will gain another turn to either defeat another enemy or dance to a nearby ally.

Bracing Stance makes her more bulky to any physical or magical attacks. However, that doesn’t mean she can withstand arrows from archers. Distant Counter is also a nice option to have but it’s not 100% crucial. It’s probably best to keep Bracing Stance since Sky Olivia is gonna need a lot of bulk.

Wings of Mercy is also a very important skill for a dancer/singer to have. When her allies are in danger, she can swoop in to finish off the enemy or dance to them allowing her teammate to escape. Aerobatics is also a nice option to have especially since she’s a flier. This will allow her to move farther to her allies. However, Aerobatics is a very rare skills to get and won’t allow for too much movement so Wings of Mercy is a better and more cheaper option to have.

Guidance also makes Sky Olivia even more useful where she allows her allies to travel farther in distance or let’s them cross over small gaps on the maps. It’s just as useful as dancing.

If you happen to get a Sky Olivia with pretty good IVs like +Atk, she should have Breath of Life so she can do some last minute healing to her allies like a Falcon Knight in Awakening. Another option to have (especially if she has -Def) is giving her Distant Defense so she won’t get killed easily. If she has -Atk then she’ll probably need Attack +3 or Attack/Defense +2 unless you don’t expect her to fight a lot.

Overall, Sky Olivia is a very great flying dancer to get. Hope you’re lucky enough to pull her.

Silvia, however weak her Atk stat is, is a very useful dancer. Much like every dancer, her BST is pretty sad, but she does come with a shockingly high Res and Hp. I chose to supplement them both. Safeguard+ grants her +7Def any time it's needed, and with the right refine she plays in the high 20's. Her base 30 Res is wonderful, as is her high Hp, which is why it's safe to let that become a bane. Her Atk needs a lot of help, so we use an Atk boon. Bracing Stance bolsters her defenses, and the combo Geyser and Blaze dances grant allies +4Atk/Def/Res. And with her availability at 4*, getting her merges is significantly easier than doing so with ANY other worthwhile dancer (besides OG Olivia).
