This set aims to capitalize on the new effect of Folkvangr: Brazen Atk/Def 3. Using the prf weapon along with Brazen Atk/Def 3 as an A slot allows for a +14 to Attack and Defense when within the threshold, which is conveniently within 10 damage, so Ardent Sacrifice allows you to reach the mark without combat. Alternatively, you can use Reposition or another movement skill and sustain the necessary damage in combat. The refinement for attack allows for more wins, and the Brazen Atk/Res 3 seal gives him more attacking power and some more Resistance so he can deal with dragons a little bit better. Another option for the seal is Deflect Melee 3, which can help against speedy units. If neither of these are available, Attack/Def +2 also works.

Chill Def 3 works well to soften up bulky opponents, but Swordbreaker 3 is another option if the former is unavailable, as it prevents doubles and allows for easy kills on sword lords. The C slot is flexible, but Threaten Atk 3 is recommended to nullify some damage. However, Threaten Def 3 can be used instead, as it makes opponents easier to kill. Alternatively, you can use Smoke skills, like Atk Smoke 3 or Def Smoke 3, but that depends on your preference. Finally, Bonfire's nuking potential can wipe almost any unit off the map with the +14 to the Defense stat, going from a decent 32 to a whopping 46, allowing him to annihilate almost anything. If you want to ensure your victory, you can use Ignis instead.

This build makes Alfonse one of the most terrifying units in the game, and that's saying a lot, considering him before the Askr refinement update. With this power, the Prince of Askr can finally become the warrior that his kingdom needs.

Aversa's Night is an amazing check to blade tome users. If the enemy user is next to another for, they lose 3 Atk/Spd/Def/Res and bonuses become penalties. Atk/Res Solo grants her plenty of offense and better Res against said tome users, Atk/Spd Link bolsters her offense even more, and Brazen seals the deal (lol) should her already impressive health go low.

Who is this modestly dressed Camilla and what does she do? Basically plays the role of a flying Lilina: High Atk, High Res single hitter. With a boon 40Atk for a flying mage, Dream Camilla packs a wallop (57atk). With her tome as long as she's next to an ally, she decreases her enemies' stats by 3/3/3/3. Naturally her defense is low and her health is... Meh. But with all that in mind I can't stand not being able to follow up, so I pair her with Spd Bond and Spd Link. Those combined can buff her an extra 11atk and spd (68/41), and with the usual flier team goad's will push that up another 12 (80/53) and her tome effect (essentially 83/54) to better her chances even further. Sounds good to me. I like Growing/Rising specials for magic units because typically you pit them against an enemy who can't retaliate, so something like Luna wouldn't activate on your turn if attacked by a close range unit, and you wouldn't use something like Aether until your turn anyway, so why not use a major AoE bomb with someone who already has excellent attack?

Celica just need one Ardent Sacrifice to put her into Brazen/Desperation range. Combining three brazen attack skills increases her attack by a whopping 21 points and her speed by 14 (unfortunately there's no Brazen Attack Speed seal just yet). With such a massive attack and Desperation in effect, there';; be few enemies she can't annihilate in one round of combat.

Needs a constant source of Spd+6 to unleash the build's true potential (preferably Stats, but Medium investment and Stats work too). Def Wave helps secure her mixed bulk, allowing her to facetank melee units when necessary. (Spd Wave wouldn't work because then it wouldn't be a constant source.)

At +1 merge she reaches maximum 51/37/35/36 effective stats inside Brazen range, plus the extra bulk that comes from '"`UNIQ--item-61--QINU`"'. She can easily heal allies while keeping herself safe with '"`UNIQ--item-64--QINU`"' and '"`UNIQ--item-67--QINU`"'. With enough love she could survive entire Hero Battles without healing even once.

Remember when Felicia was the premier dragon killer? Welcome back to it. Mystic Boost offsets Fury damage while guarding her from the typical dragon "lower of Def/res." I was going to put this build in Felicia's list, but that's too long. Have fun demolishing Nowi and Tiki again.

Want a ridiculously expensive build to tank anything and everything melee (and if you have buffs, even Legendary Tiki)? Well, Garon's your man. His low speed gives way to a great mixed defensive statline, which can be capitalized by Fort. Def/Res 3. However, this reduces his attack, so Wrath 3, will allow Garon to focus on killing his enemies through his Aethers. The C slot skill is Atk Ploy to further lesson damage taken. And, finally, for the S slot skill, Brazen Atk/Res 3 or Close Def 3 both work. However, I find that the Brazen Atk/Res 3, when combined with Wrath 3, helps Garon one/shot greens and some reds.

The Dark Pontifex sports a usable but overall mediocre balanced statline, and so his plans for world domination instead revolve around his unique tome Imhullu, which damages and cripples physical foes on turn three. As such, Gharnef has two turns of preparation before he has to make the magic happen.

Fury forms the core of this build; the fourth-level version is ideal, and does exactly enough recoil damage to push him into Brazen range, until merges or flowers give him 41 base HP. The more accessible third level version can also work, however. The skill gives him decent defensive stats of 30 Def and 29 Res, and a base Spd of 38. Ardent Sacrifice can be used as an alternative method of lowering health, especially helpful in Aether Raids where at least one turn of approach is often necessary. This assist will also guarantee him Brazen range in the face of Duma's unique skill Upheaval.

As mentioned above, he uses his recoil damage to power himself with the seal Brazen Atk/Res. The Atk/Def variant functions about as well here, since the Atk is the primary focus and his gimmick is preventing counterattacks. As archers but not mages are effected by his no-counter effect, the Res variant is favored slightly. If a Brazen Atk/Spd seal ever comes out, that will function ideally. This helps patch up his middling attack stat.

Since he focuses most on his third turn, Odd Wave skills synergize perfectly for him. In lack of a Brazen Atk/Spd seal, Odd Spd Wave is the C-slot of choice to boost up his doubling potential to a more respectable level. If that seal ever does arrive, opting instead for the Atk variant would be preferable. Alternatively, if an ally can provide Spd support, more power is going to aid him more and the latter option is again superior.

His remaining slots are his most flexible. For B, his packaged option of Chill Atk functions respectably, as it is an additional punch to enemy units, fitting in well with his tome. More ideal, however, would the Res-debuffing variant of this skill. Moonbow is his special of choice, given his somewhat disappointing base attack. Given that he uses Brazen Atk/Res in his seal slot, Iceberg could be gambled on instead, hoping for an activation on the third turn (swap out for Bonfire if using Atk/Def). As he has two turns to charge special, various other options could be explored, including AOE, but these are going to be inconsistent in their application and so are not recommended.

Though this build is designed to allow Gharnef to punch through his enemies on the third turn with doubles, it can be subverted effectively with no required change into a support build, as he instead sends his underlings to pick off the weakened enemies. Ardent Sacrifice is a rudimentary heal, Chill Atk or Res is a debuff and so benefit the rest of his team as well, and Odd Wave skills work similarly but as buffs. His decent base defenses and choice of either a Def or Res boosting Brazen skill let him tank a hit or two with reasonable potential to avoid doubles. Don't think of him exclusively as an offensive or supportive unit, and instead of use him as either depending on how the match plays out.

With the appearance of the first Brazen seal, Vector can grab his Wrath kit and turn himself into an unusual, yet devastating killing machine against anything melee range. Instead of relying on '"`UNIQ--item-503--QINU`"' to one-shot enemies with a strong special activation, this build relies on stacking stats along with Wrath when in range, and continually killing enemies in one hit in Player Phase, one per turn, in order to continue fighting endlessly. This build relies on an allied Legendary Hector (Lector) with '"`UNIQ--item-506--QINU`"' effect active on Vector, so that he can use a Brazen seal and keep cooldowns as they should be. Despite the requirements, this build sees its worth in managing an ORKO on even the tankiest reds, most of which not even being able to survive on defense tiles.

Weapon: '"`UNIQ--item-509--QINU`"' is Hector's weapon of choice. It reduces his Special charge by 1, letting him fire off a powerful Special much sooner. If that wasn't enough, it also has the '"`UNIQ--item-512--QINU`"' effect, which lets him deal an additional 10 damage when his Special activates and he's injured enough, and afterwards, he'll gain an extra Special charge at the start of his turn.

Assist: '"`UNIQ--item-515--QINU`"' is a good Assist for any armour, letting the user jump ahead of an ally, helping them keep up with them as armours have poor movement. '"`UNIQ--item-518--QINU`"' is another acceptable option that simply switches the user and an ally around, which works better in tighter spaces.

Special: '"`UNIQ--item-521--QINU`"' is Hector's Special. It adds damage based off of Hector's Def, and he's got an incredible amount of Def to take advantage of. It has a charge of 2 thanks to his weapon, and the '"`UNIQ--item-524--QINU`"' Seal or Lector's '"`UNIQ--item-527--QINU`"' drops that down to 1, letting him activate it the moment he gets attacked.

A Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-530--QINU`"' is the bread and butter of Hector's damage potential, especially when stacked further in the seal slot. This Brazen skill alone adds 11 damage to every attack that activates Bonfire, more damage than even Wrath. Since it's active in Wrath range, it synergizes greatly with his weapon and B skill.

B Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-533--QINU`"' is an excellent choice for Hector's B skill, as it's what makes his enemy phase presence incredibly overwhelming. This skill lets him deal an additional 10 damage when his Special activates and he's injured enough, and afterwards, he'll gain an extra Special charge at the start of his turn. This is the exact same effect as his weapon and it stacks, letting him deal a monstrous extra 20 damage on top of the high amount of damage '"`UNIQ--item-536--QINU`"' would deal. To top it all off, the moment his next turn starts, he gains an extra 2 Special charges, meaning he's ready to launch an explosive Bonfire on another opponent, and the cycle repeats at the beginning of every turn.

C Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-539--QINU`"' is Hector's C skill. With a Player Phase kit, as an armor, and paired with Lector, he'll very much appreciate the

Sacred Seal: '"`UNIQ--item-542--QINU`"' is Hector's Seal, and is necessary to bring '"`UNIQ--item-545--QINU`"''s charge down to 1, allowing him to activate Bonfire immediately upon being hit. However, to maximize the power of the build, '"`UNIQ--item-548--QINU`"' from an allied Lector can be used, giving room to '"`UNIQ--item-551--QINU`"' seal, which further boosts his killing potential.

Karla boasts good Atk and excellent Spd, almost-decent bulk, and a unique weapon that further boosts her damage based on her high speed, along with a slaying effect. With the powerful Wrath effect, Karla is at her strongest when in range of it, and she can be further amplified with a double Brazen build to make her into a Player Phase powerhouse, sacrificing the Distant Counter option for more killing potential when initiating.

Weapon: '"`UNIQ--item-98--QINU`"' is Karla's weapon of choice. It reduces '"`UNIQ--item-101--QINU`"''s Special charge down to 1, making every other attack done by her even deadlier. Not only that, but it gives every attack of hers extra damage, up to 7 per attack, depending on the difference between Karla's speed and the enemy's. With her amazing 40 base speed, she can achieve the maximum damage against most enemies and get great mileage of her weapon.

Assist: '"`UNIQ--item-104--QINU`"' is a good Assist in general to use. Its uses are versatile, as it can either help bring an ally closer to the fray, or bring an ally out of danger.

Special: '"`UNIQ--item-107--QINU`"' is Karla's Special, used to punch through heavily defensive enemies that can survive her attacks, the shorter cooldown preferred as it allows for her to activate it twice on both phases for lots of damage, especially when backed by '"`UNIQ--item-110--QINU`"'.

A Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-113--QINU`"' is the choice of A to give Karla the most damage possible when in Wrath/Desperation range. Along with 7 attack, the speed bonus lets her gain more speed over fast enemies, so that her weapon provides even more damage.

B Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-116--QINU`"' is Karla's B skill. If Karla gets injured enough and activates her Special, it'll be even stronger. Afterwards, this will help charge her Special faster as well. This means she'll almost always have Moonbow at the ready to annihilate another foe. The other option is '"`UNIQ--item-119--QINU`"', and the difference between the two is that Desperation offers more damage and killing potential with a double (which is easy to achieve with Karla's incredible speed), but she will fail to kill as well against enemies she can't double, opponents that use '"`UNIQ--item-122--QINU`"', '"`UNIQ--item-125--QINU`"' or have enough speed to prevent it.

C Passive: This skill slot is flexible, open to be whatever the player needs. A buffing skill, like a Drive or a Tactic skill could suffice, but this is up to the player's discretion and team composition.

Sacred Seal: '"`UNIQ--item-128--QINU`"' is Karla's seal, and it's just here to further amplify her killing potential in Wrath/Desperation range. The +7 attack bonus is unparalleled and pushes her offensive prowess to incredible levels.

Using Kliff's high Res to it's utmost potential, Kliff can nuke enemies with a high damage Glacies with the correct set up.

Glacies acts as the crux of the build. In the right conditions, Kliff can get an amazing 40 bonus damage from Glacies, with even more if he gains buffs, spurs, or drives, nuking absolutely anything in his path. As such, the following skills are used to either buff Glacies' bonus damage or allow him to proc it faster.

Sagittae acts to buff Glacies. As long as he can lower his Atk stat enough to proc the effect from it (which he will likely do, with a low 39 with Fort Def/Res. 3 and an Atk bane), his +5 buff in all stats, specifically Res in this case, will bring his Res up to a nice 37 in combat, already granting him a nice amount of damage from Glacies.

The constant +6 buff to his Res and Def with Fort. Def/Res 3 while only losing 2 Atk causes this skill to win over Fort. Res 3. Used as a mediator to lower his Atk while buffing his nuking potential.

Chill Spd 3 can be used to lower the enemy's speed enough to either 1) stunt a double on Kliff or 2) allow him to double, building his special faster or allowing him to use Glacies in the same battle. However, Chill Spd can be replaced with Swordbreaker to deal with arena threats Kliff wouldn't be able to double normally.

With Kliff's high 38 Res with Fort. Def/Res 3 and a Res boon (34 without), he can ploy enemies for more damage from Sagittae. He can also swap this out for other ploys, such as Def and Atk Ploy to have a more supportive role.

Because Sagittae only applies to pre combat stats, Kliff can use the Brazen Atk/Res 3 seal to great potential. Applying the in combat +7 buff to his Atk and Res adds to both his damage without Glacies and greatly improving his Glacies damage when it procs, allowing him to nuke absolutely anyone in his path as long as he has his special ready.

Use of Ardent Sacrifice allows Kliff to fall into Brazen range much easier, as it is harder to do so with his nice bulk. One use of Ardent Sacrifice drops him into range. Of course, if you can reliably drop him into range, feel free to swap Ardent Sacrifice with a movement skill like Reposition or a Dual Rally.

+Atk IV isn’t really needed, but that or neutral would work best. This is really just a build to buff her atk up and make her as hard hitting as possible.

Dragon Fang is because her attack is incredibly good. That damage will do a lot, especially on green ford considering her advantage over them.

Death Blow 3 gives her +6 atk, even with her being neutral, she’ll end up with 61 as her stat, easy.

Vantage 3. With an attack like that, you don’t want that to die. As long as she can keep her attack high there’s no way she won’t at the very least get in a decent amount of damage.

Savage Blow 3 as that -7 HP just makes it easier for her to get the job done. Swift Sparrow works too, since that gets her attack even higher as well.

Brazen Atk/Res 2? Up does that attack. This build is made for her to swipe through enemies in a breeze.

In short? Kind of tanky, but workable pretty well for most situations, it seems.

Linde’s Res is ok and all but with the +Res iv,she gets a superboon on it. So with the Brazen Atk/Res,she can get a +7 on them when damaged and also +3 Res from the weapon refine. Also putting Fortress Res seal on her further increases but you can use Resistance +3 if you don’t have it or you don’t want her attack stat lowered. Iceberg will increase her damage thanks to the buffed up Res.
