• The  penalty is applied regardless if the Def Smoke's user performs an attack during combat. If foe engages and user cannot counterattack, Def Smoke's penalty will still activate.
  • This is different from weapons like  Smoke Dagger+ or  Dark Breath+.
• Def Smoke's user needs to survive the combat for the penalty to activate.
• The stat decrease that can be applied by Def Smoke is considered a  penalty.
  • Any 【Penalty】 on a unit, including  penalties, lasts until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the penalty for their first action.
