Unlike the majority of mainstream Beruka builds, which focus on pumping her defense to obscene levels, this one instead holds a support role that allows her to give her allies a taste of her own tankiness. Be warned – because this is a buffing/support build, there are a lot of options as to what stat you want Beruka to buff.

Hagoita is the weapon of choice here – a prime weapon for those like its original wielder who prefer support roles. If you don't want to sack a NY!Azura, Groom Marth's Ardent Service can fulfill the same role, albeit with slightly different buffs. I personally prefer the Spur from Hagoita over the Hone of Ardent Service, but it's ultimately player preference.

Reposition and Bonfire/Ignis are standard parts of a Beruka build. The aforementioned specials are her main form of damage – that said, a Beruka built like this should be attempting to activate that Link skill as much as possible, and as such will probably not have many opportunities to directly initiate an attack.

Since the A skills are generally more about personal perks than ally buffs, any skill that bulks up Beruka's survivability will work here. Bracing Stance and Earth Boost are my two favorites, though Close Defense, Steady Stance, and Fortress Defense can work as well.

The B skill – the Link skill of your choice – is the key to this build. On her own, Beruka is an optimal Reposition candidate thanks to her status as a flier and her bulk. With Def/Res Link, Beruka can essentially activate Fortify Fliers buffs on anyone she wants. This, combined with the utility value of movement assists like Reposition, makes her a very potent support unit in of itself.

As this is a buff-based build, the C slot and Seals are extremely flexible and can be altered to enhance your team's strengths or patch up weaknesses.

Of course, depending on your own team needs, this Beruka can be repurposed into a mixed tank rather than solely Defense; this can be done easily by replacing all the Defense-related self boosts with Resistance.

With Sieglinde + Tactics ( + Rally Speed ) strong supporting power but also hence to quick riposte 3 and fury 3 and Moonbow ( which will be charged for the quick riposte counterattack ) good one shot against the first attacking target.

Erkia's incredibly balanced stats along with her ability to benefit from the same stat boosts she supports her team mates with make her a deceptively bulky sword. Her great speed makes her hard to double, and her higher than average Res in particular means she has little trouble handling popular Dragon teams without necessitating a Falchion user, yet still being amazingly adaptable against other emblem teams too, thanks to her robust versatility. Due to the immense lack of weapons and abilities that are effective against Infantry units, you may be surprised how far Erika's bulk can take you if you invest in it. The refined Sieglinde is what makes Erkia such an amazing support unit, on top of a hard carry. All the support bonuses she provides to her allies have a drive bonus applied to her as well within two spaces of said units. This stacks on top of regular buffs she can get, pushing her defenses well into the 40s! Her Assist slot is flexible; use Reposition to maneuver allies around, or use a Rally skill for further mutual benefit. Erkia's Atk is her only middling stat, as such, Luna is the preferred Special skill to half the monstrous defensive stats of Dragons and even Armor teams. However Iceberg is another option that adds a flat benefit based on your Res stat. Fury 3 is a great A Passive to enhance all of her great stats even further. Being so bulky, the HP loss after combat is of little consequence. That being said, Warding Breath is an excellent option as well to better take a beating from Dragons and mage users alike while reducing her special charge in the process. Mirror Stance 3 has a similar impact only increasing attack instead of reducing special charge. Renewal 3 is what mitigates passive Fury damage rather well. With such great speed there is little need for breaker skills or even Quick Riposte, and on maps with defense tiles it is by far the most beneficial B Passive to have. Res Tactic 3 will boost allies Res by 6 as long as you have mixed movement and is a fundamental part of this anti-Dragon kit. As long as the ally is within 2 spaces, Erika receives the +6 buff to her own resistance as well, so she can shrug off Breath and Magic. For her Sacred Seal, Def Tactic 3 provides the physical beneficial equivalent of Res Tactic 3 and is the best for supporting the whole of her team. That being said, Close Def 3 is another option to take her close range defenses to the maximum.

This build, if used correctly, buffs Eirika's attack and speed by 12, and her def and res by 6. This works because the buff Atk/Spd Link 3 provides affects Eirika, then through her weapon it affects her a second time as a ~drive skill. The tactic skills only affect her once, because they don't buff the user, so she only gets +6 to each defensive stat.

With a +Atk and a neutral spd, Eirika has offense stats of effectively 58 atk and 47 spd at +0, putting her high into the speed tiers and having a large damage output. This excludes further buffs from either Atk/Spd Bond 3 or Fury 3.

Eirika's unique weapon is key for pulling off this huge buff increase. We pair this with Swap or Reposition so that we can easily get these buffs. Your special choice depends on your goal, and your bane. With a -Res bane, Bonfire is better, otherwise Iceberg, for purely damage output. If you're aiming for a maximum arena score, then Aether is your special. Eirika's A skill is also dependant on whether you want a max arena score (which requires Distant Counter), or more damage - with Atk/Spd bond 3 Eirika will double most anything and hit quite hard. A budget option is Fury 3. For her B skill, we have the necessary Atk/Spd Link 3. This is the key to giving Eirika her +12 atk and speed, as it gives her +6 to each, and keeping her in range of the ally she buffs gives her a second stack of +6/+6.

For her C skill, this should be whichever skill you do not have a lv 3 seal for - if you have a def tactic seal, use res tactic for her c skill for example. This completes her ability to buff all 4 stats by at least 6.

This Legendary Ike is set up to be able to duel many threats in the current Arena metagame.

Ragnell and Warding Breath turn Ike into a fantastic mixed tank (even with -Res IV). If you instead want to pump up his already good Defense, go with Steady Breath. Either option works well with Quick Riposte 3 and Radiant Aether, allowing him to activate his Special virtually every fight on the Enemy Phase.

The B slot generally runs Quick Riposte, but if you can afford to run the Sacred Seal (and you probably should), this slot becomes very flexible. Guard is one of the best options for preventing special-heavy foes like Ayra, Mia, and Zelgius from activating their Specials and severely damaging him. It also helps immensely with the increase in Bold Fighter armored units. If one lacks Guard fodder or just wants another option, Swordbreaker works splendidly, allowing him to defeat the aformentioned Ayra, Mia, and Zelgius and deal with most, if not all sword units in the game. Swordbreaker also gives him a little Player Phase potential if you need it.

Ike's base C slot, Def Tactic, is already good as is and works very well on mixed team compositions. However, as with many Heroes, the C slot is flexible to fit the needs of your team.

Assuming you chose Guard 3 or Swordbreaker 3 as your B slot skill, Quick Riposte is a necessity on the Sacred Seal slot, as Ike can't double anything reliably without it. If you choose to run Quick Riposte 3 on the B slot, then Distant Def 3 and Close Def 3 are worthy options on the Seal slot.

Overall, this Ike is a great Enemy Phase duelist that claims a lot of kills against many of Arena's top threats.

This Ike is an amalgamation of he previous two versions in a sense. However, I think he strayed a little too far from the previous two Path of Radiance versions, and it just so happens that those two provide good things to his older version from Radiant Dawn.

Weapon: Honestly, nothing can beat a weapon with a built-in Counter skill, especially when its of the Preferential/Legendary variety. Sure, Counter weapons may have fallen off a little, but they still prove to be competent.

Assist: Any skills that are considered good like Reposition, Dual Rallies, etc are acceptable.

Special: Radiant Aether is a wonderful special that should have almost no reason to not be in his Special slot. But I suppose you can use that defense of his and use it to deliver some deadly flat damage with that bulky Defense stat.

Passive A: Steady Breath is infinitely better than Warding Breath on Ike. Instead on trying to patch up his weaknesses with his default skill, it is most advised to boost his extremities. Fierce Stance is also viable but you will lose that cooldown charge for more Enemy Phase attack.

Passive B: Quick Riposte is excellent for an Enemy Phase unit such as himself. Vantage will also work well.

Passive C: His default Defense Tactic works great already as a supportive skill. However, he is flexible and wield skills like Panic Ploy, Threaten Skills, etc.

Sacred Seal:Distant Defense is advised to lessen attacks from mages and staves and will work well with Ragnell. Close Defense is also an option if mages aren't you concern. Close Defense can help Ike with the dragons.

Intended as a competent support unit for a mixed team. The combination of Smoke Dagger and double Tactics create a huge stat difference in favor of the player's team, minimizing threats and improving survivability. Vantage vs. Desperation is up to personal preference, as her offensive stats are solid enough to make use of either. Draconic Aura is only recommended on teams running Atk Tactic; otherwise, Kagero's Atk doesn't get high enough for DA to compare favorably with Luna.

Due to the way Lucina's Future Vision assist works, she can make incredible use of Link skills. This build focuses on having her be a buffer while also taking advantage of her Link skill. Notably, she can grant +6 to all stats to her allies all by herself, although this does require the use of Tactic skills.

Weapon: Icon Skill Weapon.png Thögn is Lucina's weapon of choice. It grants her +3 Spd, and it also grants her +4 to all stats when she initiates against a melee opponent. This gives her an edge against them, heightening her offensive stats further while giving her extra defenses should she have to exchange blows.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Future Vision is Lucina's unique Assist. It lets her switch places with an ally, and afterwards, she's granted another action. This lets her help her allies move around while keeping up momentum, as she can either use this to help extend her range and catch a foe off guard. If used properly, it can also act as a Reposition of sorts, using her extra turn to help an ally move further. What's notable is that she can also use it to basically use it to help move her allies around corners, which is something Reposition cannot do.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow is chosen as Lucina's Special. It has a fast charge, and it pierces through an opponent's Def, which can help Lucina power through tougher targets.

A Passive: Swift Sparrow 2.png Swift Sparrow 2 is Lucina's A skill. It grants her +4 Atk and Spd when initiating, which will stack with her weapon's effect. With this, she gains an impressive +8 Atk and Spd when initiating against melee foes.

B Passive: Atk Spd Link 3.png Atk/Spd Link 3 is Lucina's B skill. It grants her and an ally +6 Atk and Spd after Lucina uses a movement Assist on them. This works perfectly with Lucina's Future Vision, as she can use it, switch places with an ally, grant the buff to her ally and herself, and then she can move again to take advantage of the buff. The extra Atk will help Lucina pack even more of a punch, while the extra Spd can help ensure that she'll outspeed her foe.

C Passive: Res Tactic 3.png Res Tactic 3 is Lucina's C skill. It grants +6 Res to any ally within two spaces under the right team composition, which means no more than two units should have the same movement type on the team.

Sacred Seal: Def Tactic 3.png Def Tactic 3 is Lucina's Seal. It grants +6 Def to any ally within two spaces under the right team composition, which means no more than two units should have the same movement type on the team. Between the two Tactics skills, and Lucina's B skill, she can grant +6 to all stats to an ally, making her an incredible buffer. And with her Assist granting herself the Atk and Spd buff, she can also take advantage of the stats she grants.
