This build is a basic build meant to provide a terrifying enemy phase presence, because that is where the king really shines. His weapon gives him +4 spectrum on defence and distant counter, making him very bulky. Svallin shield makes him have no weakness (outside of raven tomes), but Distant Def 4 makes him almost immune to blade tomes. Vengeful fighter makes him almost impossible to player phase him, but other options can work too. Slot c is flexible, and so is the seal, but Close Def 3 compiments Distant Def 4 well.

For players looking to use Lucina out of the box, she thankfully has an incredible base skillset. She really just needs a Special to get going.

Weapon: '"`UNIQ--item-554--QINU`"' is Lucina's weapon of choice. It grants her +3 Spd, and it also grants her +4 to all stats when she initiates against a melee opponent. This gives her an edge against them, heightening her offensive stats further while giving her extra defenses should she have to exchange blows.

Assist: '"`UNIQ--item-557--QINU`"' is Lucina's unique Assist. It lets her switch places with an ally, and afterwards, she's granted another action. This lets her help her allies move around while keeping up momentum, as she can either use this to help extend her range and catch a foe off guard. If used properly, it can also act as a '"`UNIQ--item-560--QINU`"' of sorts, using her extra turn to help an ally move further. What's notable is that she can also use it to basically use it to help move her allies around corners, which is something Reposition cannot do.

Special: '"`UNIQ--item-563--QINU`"' is chosen as Lucina's Special. It has a fast charge, and it pierces through an opponent's Def, which can help Lucina power through tougher targets.

A Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-566--QINU`"' is Lucina's A skill. It grants her +4 Atk and Spd when initiating, which will stack with her weapon's effect. With this, she gains an impressive +8 Atk and Spd when initiating against melee foes.

B Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-569--QINU`"' is an option for Lucina's B skill. This lets her warp over to injured allies and potentially get them out of danger with her Assist. However, this skill slot is really flexible, as there are plenty of other options for Lucina to use. '"`UNIQ--item-572--QINU`"' will let Lucina's strikes occur consecutively when she's injured enough, which can occur if she exchanges blows. '"`UNIQ--item-575--QINU`"' makes damn sure that she can and will destroy any sword wielders she comes across. '"`UNIQ--item-578--QINU`"' is a good choice to help deter enemy Specials, which she may potentially have to take if she exchanges blows.

C Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-581--QINU`"' is an option for Lucina's C skill. It grants a defensive buff to any ally near her, granting them +4 Def and Res when attacked by any ranged weapon, mitigating the damage they'd take. However, this skill slot is flexible, depending on the player's preference and team composition.

Sacred Seal: '"`UNIQ--item-584--QINU`"' is a great option for Lucina's Seal. It grants Lucina an extra Special charge if she's faster than her opponent, and with her bow and Swift Sparrow, this is a pretty easy feat. Should the player feel like other skills are needed however, then her Seal is flexible.

With a solid offensive spread of 34/35, a strong personal bow, and one of the most interesting assist options in the game, Legendary Lucina possesses the tools to serve as an effective player phase unit.

Weapon: '"`UNIQ--item-740--QINU`"' is legendary Lucina's personal bow that allots a massive boost to all stats on initiation versus melee units, in addition to flatly increasing her speed by three points.

Assist: '"`UNIQ--item-743--QINU`"' is her version of Swap that allows her to move after its use, increasing the effective amount of space she can threaten in addition to other perks.

Special: '"`UNIQ--item-746--QINU`"' in tandem with the '"`UNIQ--item-749--QINU`"' seal allow her to proc her special in every engagement where she doubles---conditions not particularly difficult to setup given her massive speed bonus on initiation.

A Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-752--QINU`"' is an instrumental part of her kit as a player phase ranged unit, allowing her to reach required doubling thresholds while also padding her attack on initiation.

B Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-755--QINU`"', another staple of player phase builds, provides a workaround versus foes capable of counterattacking at a two-space distant, provided Lucina is at or below the required threshold.

C Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-758--QINU`"' is a fantastic C skill, especially considering it is part of her base kit, as it provides the effect of '"`UNIQ--item-761--QINU`"' to allies within two spaces. However, C skills are often quite team specific, so while her base C skill is a fantastic skill in its own right, skills like tactics may provide better all-around support.

Sacred Seal: '"`UNIQ--item-764--QINU`"' is a natural companion to speedy units, as it allows them to proc specials with a charge of two in situations where they double on initiation. Of course, this comes with the opportunity cost of not using a tactic seal or other potential useful options, so the seal slot is relatively flexible.

As is the theme with all player phase-oriented units, dancers can operate well in combination with Legendary Lucina. Guidance support can increase Lucina's effective range while mitigating any terrain issues an infantry unit may encounter. Additionally, the natural obstacles a blue bow unit will bump into will be physically bulky green units, like the various Hectors, Iote's Shield Myrrh, and so on---it is worth considering using a unit capable of hitting their lower resistance with color advantage in tow as well, such as red tome users or a red dragon like Sketchy Summer Tiki (worth noting that in addition to matching up well versus high defense green units, Sketchy Summer Tiki can also provide Guidance support).

Lucina returns to the fray, this time armed with a bow. This set is designed to take advantage of her unique Assist through a Link skill, while either giving her a fighting chance on either phase, or simply improving her player phase.

Weapon: '"`UNIQ--item-444--QINU`"' is Lucina's weapon of choice. It grants her +3 Spd, and it also grants her +4 to all stats when she initiates against a melee opponent. This gives her an edge against them, heightening her offensive stats further while giving her extra defenses should she have to exchange blows.

Assist: '"`UNIQ--item-447--QINU`"' is Lucina's unique Assist. It lets her switch places with an ally, and afterwards, she's granted another action. This allows her to counterattack even when she's attacked at melee range, thwarting any foe who would try and fight her up close, giving her an enemy phase presence. Should Lucina want to improve upon her player phase presence, then her natural '"`UNIQ--item-459--QINU`"' will suffice instead, which will grant +4 Atk and Spd when initiating combat.

B Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-462--QINU`"' is a great choice for Lucina's B skill. It grants her and an ally +6 Atk and Spd after Lucina uses a movement Assist on them. This works perfectly with Lucina's Future Vision, as she can use it, switch places with an ally, grant the buff to her ally and herself, and then she can move again to take advantage of the buff. The extra Atk will help Lucina pack even more of a punch, while the extra Spd can help ensure that she'll outspeed her foe. She could also try using another Link skill, namely '"`UNIQ--item-465--QINU`"' instead, exchanging some Spd for Def, which can help her survive and exchange blows with slower foes.

C Passive: '"`UNIQ--item-468--QINU`"' is an option for Lucina's C skill. It's a good skill for frontlining units, as it debuffs any nearby foe for -7 Atk after the user participates in combat, which can help make future combat engagements with those other foes a little less threatening. However, Lucina's natural '"`UNIQ--item-471--QINU`"' is still a solid option, as its damage mitigation is more guaranteed, mitigating the damage her allies take from ranged weapons by 4.

Sacred Seal: '"`UNIQ--item-474--QINU`"' is Lucina's Seal. It grants her a follow up attack when she's attacked, guaranteeing that she'll be just as much of a threat on the enemy phase as well. Alternatively, she could use '"`UNIQ--item-477--QINU`"' for a simple Atk boost to help her hit harder.

(Quick note for those who don't want to read all of this disciption. If you can't give Rebecca Close Guard or Distant Guard a Drive skill like Drive Def or Drive Res works. A defensive spur works too.Spur Def/Res is the best choice though.)

This build makes Rebecca a very good support unit who packs a punch. Any IV can work with Rebecca but Atk is the best one overall for damage with Def,Res, and Spd is best for defence and support. A HP bane is best and safest bane as her HP can easily be patched up with a HP+5 seal, with summoner support, or merging her as it will get rid of the bane.

With Hama Ya's supportive Def/Res drive effect stacked with more defensive drives,spurs,or guards it grant a ton of defense to any allies with her!

To start things off her weapon should be refined to suit your playstyle or her IV's I would refine her weakest defensive stat due to her mostly balanced statline.

Her special is based on her stats and playstyle. If you want her to deal damage up front I would recommend Bonfire,Ignis,Iceberg,or Glacies depending on her higher defensive stat. Moonbow or Luna to deal with tanks. Or a AOE special to help chip oppents health down for herself and her teammates. Blazing is prefered for higher damage and Growing to hit more targets.

Her assist is up to you but harsh command is my favorite but a repositional or a buff skill is amazing too.

Her A skill I use with Fury for extra stats but a bond skill would work better with this build in cases where you can't afford the hp loss. Atk/Spd my favorite but any bond skill would work amazingly on Rebecca!

Her B skill is up to you. I personally use Desperation given how fast she is but a chill or seal skill would be amazing too!

Her C skill is up to choice with what you have and who you're pairing Rebecca with. Distant Guard is best for ranged tanks and Close Guard for physical tanks. If you want to play it safe and give buffs to everyone then go with a defensive drive or if your on a budget a defensive spur is good too.

Her S skill is best with Drive Def or Drive Res but for extra buffs you can go with the spur def/res seal.
