Dominance (or Additional Damage to Penalized Foes[1]) is a status effect that grants additional damage = total

Skill Interaction

- The damage boosting effect of
Dominance ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- During combat, the damage boosting effect of Dominance is calculated after calculations of effects that trigger "during combat".
- The damage boosting effect will also affect area-of-effect Specials such as Rising Flame and Growing Thunder.
- The damage boosting effect will not be negated nor reduced if the foe receives Bonuses.
- If the foe is affected by Panic (and not affected by Null Panic), Dominance will utilize the total Penalty within each stat during calculation.[2]
- The damage boosting effect will be negated if the foe has their Penalties removed by a source of negative status effect neutralization.
- A foe equipped with
Embla's Ward, 
Múspellflame, 
Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
