There can be up to 12 differents combat backgrounds for a single map, categorized as present below, however some maps use the same background for several kind of terrain.

- Names of the backgrounds are based on how they are named in the assets. Thus, names like
SallingShip
andAwakingCastle
are correct despite their spelling. - Some backgrounds have layers which "cut off" due to where the in-game screen size cuts off.
