Notes[ | ]
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- Forseti does not guarantee the user a follow-up.
- If the user can perform a follow-up, either by a speed check or effects such as
Guaranteed Follow-Ups or Quick Riposte 4, the initial attack and follow-up will occur before the foe can perform a counterattack. - Effects such as Vantage or Spd Preempt 3 have priority over Forseti's priority changing effect.
- Forseti changes the attack priority, or order of attacks, and therefore can be disabled by skills such as Hardy Bearing 3 or Armorpin Dagger+.

- The stat increase that can be applied by Forseti is considered a temporary buff.
- Forseti can neutralize Penalties.
- Penalties are neutralized by granting temporary buffs of the same amount during combat.
- Temporary buffs from Forseti do not stack with temporary buffs from effects such as Grand Strategy and Atk/Spd Unity, only temporary buffs from Forseti will apply.
- The neutralization that can be applied by Forseti works only on Bonuses.
- Bonuses are neutralized by inflicting temporary debuffs of the same amount during combat.
- Bonuses reversed by Panic will not be neutralized.
