Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 is the fifth game in the Fire Emblem series. It is currently listed seventh in the Catalog of Heroes and when sorting heroes by Origin, between Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War and Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. Some of its characters first appeared in its predecessor, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War.

The world of Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 is referred to as "World of Holy War".
