  • Active bonuses are added to the Atk stat before calculations.
    • Atk gained this way is affected by the weapon triangle and is included in the calculations for Special skills based off of Atk, such as Icon Skill Special.png Dragon Fang.
    • The Atk increase will not be negated nor reduced if the foe receives  bonuses.
    • If the foe is inflicted with  Panic, Boilerplates/Passive page will utilize the total  penalty within each stat during calculation.
    • If the foe is targeted by Icon Skill Assist.png Restore+ or the foe possesses a penalty neutralizing skill, the Atk increase will be negated.
  • {{BonusSpdDamage}}
  • The maximum speed difference that matters for Boilerplates/Passive page's damage bonus is 10, due to the weapon's cap of 7 bonus damage.
  • The minimum speed difference that matters for Boilerplates/Passive page's damage bonus is 2, which provides 1 bonus damage.
  • The bonus damage from Boilerplates/Passive page is applied after other effects, and is thus not boosted by specials such as Icon Skill Special.png Glimmer or Icon Skill Special.png Astra.
  • With Phantom Spd 3.png Phantom Spd 3, Boilerplates/Passive page will deal extra damage if the user would otherwise have equal or less speed than the target.
    • This effect stops when the user is regularly 9 speed slower than the target, as a 1-speed advantage rounds down to zero damage.
  • {{Brave weapon interaction}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page's extra attack is not a follow-up attack nor a change in attack priority.
  • {{Breaker Passive notes}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page can prevent the foe from making a follow-up attack.
    • A foe with skills such as Null Follow Up 3.png Null Follow-Up 3 will disable Boilerplates/Passive page's guaranteed follow-up attack effect.
    Unit 1 Unit 2 Results
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Prevented from making a follow-up attack
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Prevented from making a follow-up attack
    All effects of both of the skills will cancel each other out; a standard speed check (≥5 Spd) determines follow-up attacks for both units. For an example, this scenario can be achieved by having two sword users use Swordbreaker 3.png Swordbreaker 3 against each other.
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Prevented from making a follow-up attack
    • Prevented from making a follow-up attack
    • Prevented from making a follow-up attack
    Unit 2 will be unable to perform a follow-up attack on unit 1. A standard speed check (≥5 Spd) determines follow-up attacks for Unit 1. An example of this scenario is a unit using Lancebreaker 3.png Lancebreaker 3 against a lance user with Wary Fighter 3.png Wary Fighter 3.
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Prevented from making a follow-up attack
    Unit 1 will perform a follow-up attack regardless of speed. A standard speed check (≥5 Spd) determines follow-up attacks for Unit 2. An example of this scenario is a unit using Axebreaker 3.png Axebreaker 3 against an axe user with Quick Riposte 3.png Quick Riposte 3.
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    • Prevented from making a follow-up attack
    Unit 1 will perform a follow-up attack regardless of speed. Unit 2 will perform a follow-up attack regardless of speed. An example of this scenario occurring would be a unit using R Tomebreaker 3.png R Tomebreaker 3 against a red tome user using two Quick Riposte 3.png Quick Riposte 3 skills.
    ... ... These interactions can continue for any number of effects that prevent or guarantee follow-up attacks. The way contradictory effects cancel out can be used to understand any number of these effects interacting with each other.

    Note that remaining conditions and effects are still active, so Special cooldown charge would still be in play for a Bold Fighter 3.png Bold Fighter 3 against Wary Fighter 3.png Wary Fighter 3 interaction regardless of the status of follow-up attacks on each unit.

    • Initiates combat
    • HP ≤ 75%
    • Vantage 3.png Vantage 3
    • Guaranteed follow-up attack
    The effect of Vantage applies to both the initial counterattack and the automatic follow-up. Therefore, the attacker will perform a follow-up attack with the order of actions being Unit 2 > Unit 1 > Unit 2 > Unit 1.
    {{Breath Passive notes}}
    • Boilerplates/Passive page grants Special cooldown charge +1 only when the foe initiates combat.
      • The Special cooldown charge +1 applies for both units' attacks.
    • A foe with Icon Class Red Sword.png Creator Sword will neutralize the "Special cooldown charge +X" granted by Boilerplates/Passive page.
    • If a foe initiates combat against a unit with Boilerplates/Passive page and the unit is inflicted with Special cooldown charge -1, such as from a foe's Icon Class Red Sword.png Guard Sword+ for example, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
    • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a combat boost.
    {{CardinalDirections}}
  • Cardinal directions refers to a targets being directly north, south, west, or east of the user. Distance does not factor.
  • {{Combat boosts}}
  • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a combat boost.
  • {{Combat reductions}}
  • The stat decrease that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a combat reduction.
  • {{CombatBoostfromBonus}}
  • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a combat boost.
    • The stat increasing effect of Boilerplates/Passive page will activate if the unit receives  bonuses.
      • The stat increasing effect will not be negated nor reduced if the unit receives  penalties.
      • If the unit is affected by  Panic, the stat increasing effect will be negated.
  • {{CombatBoostfromPenalty}}
  • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a combat boost.
    • The stat increasing effect of Boilerplates/Passive page will activate if the foe receives  penalties.
      • The stat increasing effect will not be negated nor reduced if the foe receives  bonuses.
      • If the foe is inflicted with  Panic, Boilerplates/Passive page will utilize the total  penalty within each stat during calculation.
      • If the foe is targeted by Icon Skill Assist.png Restore+, the stat increasing effect will be negated.
  • {{Consecutive attacks damage reduction}}
  • Consecutive attacks are uninterrupted sequences. If Boilerplates/Passive page's user counters in between incoming attacks, the number of consecutive attacks is reset.
    • Example: A quadruple hit from a brave weapon user gets the damage reduced on hits number 2, 3, and 4 - unless Boilerplates/Passive page's user performs a counterattack, in which case only the damage from hits number 2, and 4 is reduced.
  • Icon Skill Special.png Twin Blades will disable Boilerplates/Passive page's damage reduction effect when it triggers.
  • Unlike interactions like gem weapons and Triangle Adept 3.png Triangle Adept 3 or  Triangle Adept, Boilerplates/Passive page's mitigation effect does stack (albeit multiplicatively) with other sources of damage reduction, like Deflect Seals.
    • For example, two consecutive hits for 19 damage will do 19 and 4 damage respectively with just Icon Class Green Axe.png Urvan, but with the Deflect Missile 1.png Deflect Missile 1 the second hit will do 3 damage instead.
  • {{CooldownChargeMinus}}
  • If a foe has a "Special cooldown charge +X" effect and a unit has a "Special cooldown charge -X" effect, the effects will stack.
    • For example, if a unit with Icon Class Red Sword.png Guard Sword+ attacks an enemy with Steady Breath.png Steady Breath, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
  • If used alongside a skill that also inflicts "Special cooldown charge -X", only the higher of the two charge reductions will apply.
    • This means that if a unit has "Special cooldown charge -1" and "Special cooldown charge -1" from two different skills, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge -1" is active.
  • Icon Class Red Sword.png Creator Sword will neutralize any effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to foe or inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on its user.
  • {{CooldownChargePlusAttack}}
  • Only attacks performed by the user have the Special cooldown charge +X effect. This is true regardless of who initiated combat.
  • If the user has a "Special cooldown charge +X" effect and a foe has a "Special cooldown charge -X" effect, the effects will stack.
    • For example, if a unit with Icon Class Red Sword.png Guard Sword+ battles an foe with Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 active:
      • The effects will only stack when the user attacks and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
      • Only the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will take place when the foe attacks.
  • Icon Class Red Sword.png Creator Sword will neutralize any effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to the foe or inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on its user.
  • {{Counterattacks disrupted}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page applies the  Counterattacks disrupted status effect.
    • Negative status effects on a unit last until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the status effect for their first action.
  • Boilerplates/Passive page can prevent the foe from counterattacking.
  • {{Dance passive interaction}}
    • Boilerplates/Passive page can only be activated by Heroes who can use assist skills like Icon Skill Assist.png Sing or Icon Skill Assist.png Dance.
      • While Dance Passives can be inherited by all heroes except for  Staff users, Boilerplates/Passive page will not trigger without one of these 5 assists.
    • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a  bonus.
      • Positive status effects last until the start of the next player phase.
      • If bonuses are acquired during the enemy phase, they will disappear when the next player phase begins.
    {{DefensiveSkill}}
    • Boilerplates/Passive page is triggered by the foe's attack and reduces the damage taken from that attack.
    {{Defiant Passive notes}}
  • If the HP threshold is met at the start of the player's phase, the unit receives Boilerplates/Passive page's effects until the end of the enemy's phase.
  • Boilerplates/Passive page triggers before any start-of-turn healing, such as Icon Class Red Sword.png Falchion, or Renewal 3.png Renewal 3.
  • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a  bonus.
    • Positive status effects last until the start of the next player phase.
    • If bonuses are acquired during the enemy phase, they will disappear when the next player phase begins.
  • {{Dragon Special notes}}
    Main article: Damage calculation
  • The increased damage from Boilerplates/Passive page is not affected by the weapon-triangle, and it includes the increased Atk from skills like Icon Class Blue Tome.png Blárblade+ in its calculations.
  • {{EffectfromBonus}}
  • The of Boilerplates/Passive page will activate if the receives  bonuses or  Mobility increased.
  • {{EffectfromPenalty}}
  • The of Boilerplates/Passive page will activate if the wielding it receives  penalties or negative status effects.
  • {{Effective against dragons}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page applies the  Effective against dragons status effect.
    • Positive status effects last until the start of the next player phase.
    • The effective damage applied by this status effect does not stack with existing effective damage. However, a unit must neutralize all sources of effectiveness to avoid effective damage. For example, if Icon Class Blue Lance.png Slaying Spear+ is also effective against a unit, that unit must neutralize "effective against armored" and "effective against dragons".
  • When battling a dragon unit, Attack is multiplied by 1.5.
  • {{Effective damage bonus}}
  • {{Effectiveness neutralization}}
  • Only neutralizes "Effective against foes".
  • {{EnemyBonusesToAtk}}
  • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a combat boost.
    • Atk gained this way is affected by the weapon triangle and is included in the calculations for Special skills based off of Atk, such as Icon Skill Special.png Dragon Fang.
    • The Atk increase will not be negated nor reduced if the foe receives  penalties.
    • If the foe is affected by  Panic or the foe possesses a bonus neutralizing skill, the Atk increase will be negated.
  • {{Firesweep interaction}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page can prevent the foe from counterattacking.
    • A unit using Boilerplates/Passive page and Null C-Disrupt is unaffected by Boilerplates/Passive page's counterattack prevention.
    {{FixedDamage}}
  • The added damage is a fixed +7 and ignores Defense and Resistance, but can be reduced by damage reduction skills such as those from Icon Skill Special.png Pavise.
  • {{Follow-up before counterattack}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page does not guarantee the user a follow-up attack.
  • If the user can perform a follow-up attack, either by a speed check or a skill such as Brash Assault 3.png Brash Assault 3, the initial attack and follow-up will occur before the foe can perform a counterattack.
  • Boilerplates/Passive page changes the attack priority, or order of attacks, and therefore can be disabled by Hardy Bearing 3.png Hardy Bearing 3.
  • {{Gravity}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page applies the  Gravity status effect.
    • Negative status effects on a unit last until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the status effect for their first action.

  • {{Guard}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page applies the  Guard status effect.
    • Negative status effects on a unit last until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the status effect for their first action.
  • {{IfUnitAttacked}}
  • If unit attacked means if the wielder attacked at any time during combat. They do not need to initiate combat, deal damage, or survive.
    • This means that if the foe initiates combat and the user cannot counterattack, the effect will not activate.
  • {{IfUnitInitiates}}
  • If unit initiates combat means if the wielder starts a combat in their turn. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
    • However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
  • {{Isolation}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page applies the  Isolation status effect.

  • A unit using Boilerplates/Passive page can still perform a follow-up if the foe initiates combat.
  • If Boilerplates/Passive page prevents the foe from counter-attacking and the user has skills that require the foe to have the ability to counter-attack, such as Brash Assault 3.png Brash Assault 3, then those skills will not be triggered.
  • If User has a skill that grants a guaranteed follow-up while initiating combat then a regular speed check applies when determining follow-up attacks for the user.
  • A unit using Boilerplates/Passive page and Null Follow Up 3.png Null Follow-Up 3, Icon Class Red Sword.png Creator Sword, or Icon Class Red Sword.png Mareeta's Sword is unaffected by Boilerplates/Passive page's follow-up prevention.

  • {{Tactic Passive notes}}
    • The stat increase that can be applied by Boilerplates/Passive page is considered a  bonus.
      • Positive status effects last until the start of the next player phase.
      • If bonuses are acquired during the enemy phase, they will disappear when the next player phase begins.
    • Movement Types refers to if a unit is: Icon Move Infantry.png Infantry, Icon Move Armored.png Armored, Icon Move Cavalry.png Cavalry, or Icon Move Flying.png Flying.
    • In order for the skill to trigger with an ally unit, the team must have fewer than 3 allies sharing a movement type on the field.
    • Boilerplates/Passive page takes account of ally units on the field at the start of the phase, meaning if allies are lost it is possible to meet Boilerplates/Passive page's condition and trigger the skill.
      • Example: A team consists of 1 Infantry unit with Boilerplates/Passive page & 3 Fliers. The skill cannot trigger with the 3 Fliers because there are more than 2 of them on the field. Should the third flier be defeated, Boilerplates/Passive page's condition will be met and the skill will trigger.
    {{TermRefersTo}}

  • {{Triangle Adept}}
  • Boilerplates/Passive page applies the  Triangle Adept status effect.
    • Negative status effects on a unit last until that unit takes an action. If the unit takes multiple actions in a turn, they will only have the status effect for their first action.
    • If the target has this status effect and the target is equipped with Cancel Affinity 3.png Cancel Affinity 3, the status effect will be negated since Cancel Affinity 3.png Cancel Affinity 3 negates weapon-triangle affinity when equipped on the same unit.
    • See weapon-triangle for more information on weapon triangle advantage effects.
