Lilina has an enormous Atk stat and a powerful tome that puts it to fantastic use. Her job will be to overwhelm and down opponents in a single strike, being mostly a player phase build.

Boon/Bane: Given Lilina's OHKO nature, +Atk is the easy boon of choice. Due to her extremely low physical bulk -Def impacts her the least, as also given her low speed and for the propensity of Quick Riposte 3, any counter attack from a physical source will likely kill her. -Spd is also a solid choice for bane, but it hurts her mage fighting potential, which she has at least decent bulk against.

Weapon: Icon Class Red Tome.png Forblaze is Lilina's weapon of choice. It has a Chill Res effect, meaning whoever has the highest Res on the enemy team will suffer a nasty -7 Res debuff. This either directly helps Lilina blaze through a tougher foe, or it can help another magically oriented ally of hers do even more damage. When given its special effect, it grants her +6 Atk when initiating combat. This takes her already high Atk to even greater heights, and increases the number of targets she'll be able to one shot.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Draw Back is a good Assist in general to use for ranged units. Its uses are more defensive, allowing the user and an ally to move back one space. Ranged units usually don't want to be in the line of fire too much, so Draw Back can help them retreat.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Glimmer is Lilina's Special. She won't be activating it too much unless she has the Heavy Blade 3 Seal as well, but a fast charging Special like Glimmer will always do well. If it activates, it'll make her damage skyrocket even further, securing even more victories for her.

A Passive: Death Blow 3.png Death Blow 3 is Lilina's A skill. It grants +6 Atk when initiating combat, which will also stack with her weapon's effect. A gigantic +12 Atk buff when initiating combat is nothing to scoff at, especially if the target was also hit by the Chill Res effect or some other debuff. Death Blow 4.png Death Blow 4 is another extremely strong option, being just a stronger version of Death Blow but at a much higher investment cost.

B Passive: Given the nature of this build, there's really no good B skill that she really needs to make this set work, so this slot is extremely flexible. G Tomebreaker 3.png G Tomebreaker 3 could be used if Lilina needs to tank a hit from an enemy green mage in a pinch, though if she can strike first, she'll likely incinerate them. Chill Spd 3.png Chill Spd 3 could help directly support her team, as she'd be able to debuff the enemy with the highest Res and the enemy with the highest Spd at the same time, both of which being troubling prospects for her opponent. Wings of Mercy 3.png Wings of Mercy 3 could be an option to improve her mobility and help her get the jump on opponents. Any B skill will do fine, and is up to the player's discretion. Special Spiral 3.png Special Spiral 3 is another option to improve Lilina's subsequent combats, allowing her to have Glimmer up

C Passive: Spur Atk 3.png Spur Atk 3 is an option for Lilina's C skill to help augment the offense of her allies that comes for free, but ultimately this skill slot is flexible, open to be whatever else the player needs. Res Ploy 3 is a noteworthy option just as another means to debuff an enemy's Res, this time affecting whoever's down her direct line of sight. Its debuff is less potent than Chill Res, but its activation can be more controlled by the player's movement. She runs other ploys well as well.

Sacred Seal: Attack Plus 3.png Attack +3 is an option for Lilina's Seal. It's just a simple attack boost that'll help her hit even harder. Alternatively, Heavy Blade 3 could be considered. With her huge Atk stat, she's basically guaranteed to activate its effect, letting her have Glimmer to nuke her next foe, though this shouldn't be run with Special Spiral 3 Given Lilina's decent res stat, she can also run things like Def Ploy 3.png Def Ploy 3 to good effect to support her team.

Lilina’s tome, Forblaze, comes with Chill Res 3 built into it, which is excellent since it can debuff from anywhere on the map, making it more consistent than the Ploy skills. It typically only affects one foe, but it can hit multiple foes if they share the highest Res stat.

Now, while it does benefit Lilina to have Chill Res, why not go ahead and help her more physical allies as well? That’s what Chill Def 3 is for. If she has Gunnthrà and/or Hríd as one of her allies, then they’ll enjoy reaping the effects of their weapons.

If you choose a different Chill Skill, then any combination of Smoke Skills in the C and Seal spots will suffice (just be mindful that Def and Res Smoke are not available as Seals yet). Whenever Lilina attacks, all foes around the target will be debuffed, allowing her allies to swoop in for a potential advantage/kill.

Death Blow 4 is rare, making Death Blow 3 more practical, but either will do. Her Forblaze can be refined to have Death Blow 3 itself, so another Death Blow 3/4 wouldn’t be bad to invest in!

This set is especially great if you have Lilina on a more defensive team. The debuffs will soften up foes for an incoming attack. It can be used offensively, too, as you can send in allies to ambush weakened foes. However, the Smoke Skills won’t be very effective if the target isn’t within range of other foes. Also, since Lilina is rather slow, she won’t be able to doubleattack very often.

37/63/30/11/26. If you use Odd/Even Atk Wave 3, the Attack is raised to 70 which is neat. Dragon fang does 32 on normal turns and 35 on Odd/Even turns.

I made this build because I wanted to find a unit who could really use Phantom Speed to its fullest on a more common unit than Mia or Arya. With Lilina's Forblaze enhancement and her demotion to the 3-star pool she became a prime candidate. Life and Death, Watersweep, and Phantom Speed 3 work together to make a player-phase nuke that is truly a unit to be feared. This build hits for only one less attack than the standard Death Blow build that is quite common in arena but with the added benefit that if she fails to secure the kill (which is rare), she won't get hit with a counter. With Life and Death boosting (a neutral speed IV) Lilina to 30 speed, Phantom Speed 3 means a unit would need 39+ speed to be able to counter Lilina's attack. Attack Smoke also debuffs anyone nearby, which negates the loss of Res drawback that Life and Death imposes. It also helps teammates follow up after she's taken down the biggest threat on the team. Glimmer's low cool down is crucial, as Watersweep prevents her from doubling and adds a massive boost to her attack. The only thing she fears are high res and/or Triangle Adept Blue units with this build.

This build is simple in its execution: Pile on so many attack buffs that whatever Lilina decides to fire at is simply deleted. Forblaze's built in DB stacks with the A Skill DB, so on player phase she will always have +12 to her attack (which, if +Atk, is 57 after the Atk+3 seal and Forblaze's contribution; 61 if at 10 merges; Ally and Summoner Supports can drive this higher still). Odd Attack Wave takes this a step further, by adding another 6 attack to that still (and has a side effect of doing the same to adjacent allies) every other turn. For her B Skill, Chill Res is optimal, because like Death Blow, it stacks with Forblaze's innate skill, inflicting a total of -14 res to the enemy with the highest; this ensures that Lilina will do some severe damage when she strikes the victim (No, Forblaze and Chill Res will not stack. Please save your Catria!). As Chill Res is an extremely difficult skill to get (as of writing, only Spring Catria has it), Poison Strike can be used to simply inflict extra damage if the enemy survives Lilina's attack. Swap can be used as a quick escape from trouble if need be (by swapping a physically tanky ally, such as Hector or a +Def Roy, in front of her; her Res is solid but her Def is laughable even if it's her boon), while Glimmer just makes some enemies be deleted even harder every so often.

Mage/Dragon Counter
Click to show/hide build description
This build is designed to boost Linina's powerful attack while also preventing counterattacks from tankier magic enemies or magic enemies with vantage; this is accomplished through the use of Watersweep and the Phantom Speed seal to greatly reduce the risk of enemy counterattacks. An upgraded Forblaze will allow Lilina to take out tankier opponents by reducing their resistance and boosting her attack during the player phase. Glimmer/Draconic Aura will give boosts to Lilina's damage output (Glimmer is preferable because it charges faster and her attack is high enough to consistently deal large amounts of damage). Swift Sparrow/Life and Death will give boosts to both Lilina's already powerful attack as well as her speed to boost Watersweep's odds. Odd Attack Wave will grant a large boost Lilina's notorious attack, while Threaten Speed will make it easier for Lilina to prevent counterattacks by reducing enemy speeds.

Blazing Spiral
Click to show/hide build description
This build's weakness is its need of a turn or two to ramp up to max power, but once Lilina has her special charged it gives her arguably the most powerful Player Phase ever. Special Spiral allows her to use Blazing wind every combat, giving her two attacks before her opponent can counter - one of which deals 150% damage and ignores the weapon triangle. Even Vantage is no hindrance due to Hardy Bearing, and only the most Res-heavy blue units will survive her attacks.
