This variant of Lyn takes up a bow once more, this time being a green bow. With her high Spd, she can pull off a Firesweep+ set decently.

Weapon: Icon Skill Weapon.png Firesweep Bow+ is Lyn's weapon of choice, allowing her to assail opponents without fearing a counterattack, letting her safely engage against any opponent.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Draw Back is a good Assist in general to use for ranged units. Its uses are more defensive, allowing the user and an ally to move back one space. Ranged units usually don't want to be in the line of fire too much, so Draw Back can help them retreat.

Special: Luna is Lyn's Special. It has a defense piercing effect, letting Lyn break through tougher foes, while its charge of 3 lines up well with the rhythm of Lyn's attacks.

A Passive: Swift Sparrow 2.png Swift Sparrow 2 is Lyn's A skill. This build is strictly player phase, so she'll want a player phase offensive boosting skill.

B Passive: Chill Def 3 is Lyn's B skill. It debuffs the unit on the enemy team with the highest Def, which will either help Lyn deal even more damage to a tankier unit, or help her teammates be victorious against that foe instead.

C Passive: Spd Ploy 3 is Lyn's C skill. Lyn has a decent Res stat which can let her Ploy faster opponents with less Res, which can help her outspeed and double them.

Sacred Seal: Attack Plus 3.png Attack +3 is Lyn's Seal, chosen to help her deal more damage.

For a player who just wants Lyn to be more powerful, she can opt for a Brave Bow+ set.

Weapon: Brave Bow+ is Lyn's weapon of choice for this set. It lets her strike twice consecutively, so when she's given the right buffs and skills, she can deal a considerable amount of damage.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Draw Back is a good Assist in general to use for ranged units. Its uses are more defensive, allowing the user and an ally to move back one space. Ranged units usually don't want to be in the line of fire too much, so Draw Back can help them retreat.

Special: Moonbow is an option for Lyn's Special if she's running Quickened Pulse so that she can activate it on the second strike. If she's not using that Seal, then her Special is Luna. Both Specials have a defense piercing effect, letting Lyn break through tougher foes. Moonbow just has a faster charge but a weaker effect, while Luna has a slower charge but a stronger effect. Luna will also line up with the rhythm of her strikes better.

A Passive: Death Blow 3.png Death Blow 3 is Lyn's A skill. Given that this is a player phase build, this helps give her a +6 Atk buff when initiating combat, which can help her secure a victory.

B Passive: This skill slot is flexible, open to be whatever skill the player needs.

C Passive: Def Ploy 3 is Lyn's C skill. Lyn has a decent Res stat which can let her Ploy sturdy opponents with less Res, which can help her deal even more damage to them.

Sacred Seal: Quickened Pulse is Lyn's Seal if she's using Moonbow so that she can activate it on the second strike, but if she's using Luna, then a simple attack boost from Attack Plus 3.png Attack +3 will suffice instead.

Despite her ability as a ranged enemy tank or a Desperation-based killer, Lyn can take Lewyn's B for the infamous spiral build, in order to give proper kill potential to a unit often disregarded due to her low attack.

Weapon - To make the Spiral build work at its best, the weapon of choice is Icon Skill Weapon.png Slaying Bow+ with an attack refine. With it, she can have any special instantly charged if she has 3 Infantry Pulse 3.png Infantry Pulse 3 boosts on her. For the AoE special she wishes to use, the slaying effect reduces the cooldown from 4 to 3, and with the extra attack after the special, she leaves it in range of being fully charged with Spiral.

Assist - The standand Reposition and Draw Back are invaluable, although other assists can also be chosen.

Special - As for the special, Icon Skill Special.png Blazing Wind is chosen for being the best of the AoE specials, although any of the 1,5x atk ones will do. These specials, unlike other offensive ones, activate before the first hit and deal flat damage that ignores WTA, but never kill, allowing the user to deal the killing blow and charge their special a bit again, unlike typical Ignis nukes that leave the special completely uncharged. This is very important for the kit to work.

A skill - Life and Death 3.png Life and Death 3 boosts her offensive special directly in her stats, instead of a combat boost like Death Blow 4.png Death Blow 4. This is relevant because AoE specials do not benefit from combat boosts, and only from those that are shown in the unit's stats.

B skill - Special Spiral 3.png Special Spiral 3 is essential for the kit to work. After a combat finishes where the special has been activated, it reduces the special cooldown by 2. Seeing as the AoE special's cooldown is 3 after slaying effect, a single hit will reduce it by 2, and with Spiral's reduction on top, the special is charged again, repeating the process.

C skill - Completely flexible and chosen for the situation.

Seal - Hardy Bearing 3.png Hardy Bearing 3 is a strange choice of seal that, in this case, serves to prevent Vantage 3.png Vantage 3 users from getting a free hit on Lyn after her AoE special. It's not required, and completely useless if there are no enemies with it. As such, the seal slot is flexible, although Attack Plus 3.png Attack +3 is a good choice for more damage.

For players who want to use Lyn right out of the gate, her base skillset gears her to be an enemy phase mage fighter, while also wanting as many allies next to or near her as possible.

Weapon: Icon Skill Weapon.png Swift Mulagir is Lyn's weapon of choice. It grants her extra Res, which can help her stand up to some mages better, and it grants Lyn a +5 Atk and Spd boost if she has more allies than enemies near her, meaning she'll want her team to support and back her up.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Draw Back is a good Assist in general to use for ranged units. Its uses are more defensive, allowing the user and an ally to move back one space. Ranged units usually don't want to be in the line of fire too much, so Draw Back can help them retreat.

Special: Glimmer is Lyn's Special. This will help add more damage to Lyn's attack, which can help her secure a victory against enemy mages, especially blue ones.

A Passive: Laws of Sacae.png Laws of Sacae is Lyn's A skill. It grants her +4 to all stats when she's attacked, and if she has at least two allies near her. The idea behind this is that Lyn will want to surround herself with her allies to activate this effect as she baits out an enemy mage.

B Passive: Quick Riposte 2.png Quick Riposte 2 is an option for Lyn's B skill, which would allow Lyn to perform a follow up attack when she's attacked, which fits perfectly on an enemy phase build like this. Guard 2.png Guard 2 on the other hand would help deter her enemies from charging their Special.

C Passive: Spd Tactic 3.png Spd Tactic 3 is an option for Lyn's C skill if she's on a mixed team, as she'd be able to provide a valuable +6 Spd buff to her allies, while they'd help support her and be near her to help activate her weapon and A skill's effects. However, this skill slot is flexible, open to be other buffs or other skills that the player might need.

Sacred Seal: Distant Def 3 can help soften the blow from enemy mages. Alternatively, Quick Riposte 3 would allow Lyn to perform a follow up attack if she's attacked, which is perfectly suited for an enemy phase build.

Though a more standard build would have her go into the normal archer direction, abandoning her unique skill Laws of Sacae for something more standard and aiming for damage on the player phase, an effective omni-stance gives her enemy phase potential. Ignoring her a Speed stat and instead bolstering her defensive prowess allows her to effectively tank any non-red, non-armored range unit, and kill them on her counter using a Slaying Bow for a guaranteed activation, even when behind by multiple merge levels.

Her build is, in general, inflexible, and subbing out skills generally won't produce good results. Assist, however, is an inherently non-essential slot, leaving her open to whatever role she needs to fill with it. As her goal is to bait and kill ranged units, swapping out with somebody else can be an option synergistic with her kit. Regarding her C slot, Attack Ploy keeps her safety against even buffed and merged Brave Bow users, whereas Def Ploy can secure a few kills on tankier enemies like Leon. On top of this, she has a fair amount of flexibility with her boon and bane, though the provided Defense boon and Speed bane will generally beat enemies against the highest odds.

A very reliable baiting counter to ranged heroes, it is important to keep in mind this build is very limited outside of this role. She's very much built for the enemy phase and will struggle to dish out damage to the more tanky melee classes on the player phase, even with a special activation, though in this case her green color works to her advantage, letting at the very least deal with lances suitably enough. Overall, she's locked into an inflexible role, adapting her build instead to excel within this role. Any users of weapons which prevent counter, such as Dazzling Staff healers, Windsweep mages, or Firesweep bows, are going to also give her issues, as they chip her down without her having the ability to do her damage on her preferred enemy phase.

Due to the necessity of having two nearby allies to activate Laws of Sacae, a certain level of team support will be needed. Since she's choosing to bait enemy ranged units to attack her anyways, however, this generally isn't an issue. From these allies, any sort of buff to Attack is appreciated, to break through harder to kill enemies such as Halloween Henry or to catch up with enemy merges. Defensive buffs, too, can certainly help, and as a mixed tank Spur Defense Resistance is the most beneficial option. Speed support is generally unnecessary, as she isn't aiming to double, but it can help keep her alive in some cases. For her part, whichever Ploy she chooses for her C slot will benefit her entire team.

Right out of the box Lyn is equipped with a great skillset for an ally oriented team. With this build Lyn excels when positioned around her allies, and she provides great cover for red units on your team. Due to her unique typing as a Green Archer and decent res stat she is able to demolish mages and blue units. Additionally she can provide support to her allies through her flexible C slot and Seal slot.

Weapon: Icon Skill Weapon.png Swift Mulagir is Lyn’s weapon of choice. It grants her +3 res allowing her to go head to head with most mages. The +5 to Atk and Spd when your nearby allies outnumber nearby enemies is also something that cannot be ignored and the reason this weapon is a strong choice.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is a great assist in general and allows her to play more around her allies. Icon Skill Assist.png Draw Back is also an option if you are looking for something more defensive.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Luna is a solid option for Lyn’s Special slot. It helps her punch through tougher enemies, and its charge of 3 lines up well with Lyn’s attacks. Alternatively if you are using a Quickened Pulse seal, Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow or Icon Skill Special.png Glimmer work well in the slot. Icon Skill Special.png Aether is another option if you are looking to try and counteract the self-inflicted damage from Fury 3 and are not running a healer in your team composition.

A Passive: Fury 3.png Fury 3 is a great option for Lyn’s A skill. It grants her +3 to all stats and allows her to get into the threshold of Desperation 3. The build is not directed towards either player or enemy phase so this skill works well here given its stats are provided regardless of turn.

B Passive: Desperation 3.png Desperation 3 is Lyn’s B skill of choice. It allows her to do follow up attacks without being counter attacked and it is paired well with the Fury 3 skill. If you opt out of Fury 3 this slot becomes flexible for whatever.

C Passive: Lyn’s C skill slot is Flexible for whatever your team needs, Spd Tactic 3 is a solid option if you are on a tighter budget and you can meet the 2 movement type or less requirement.

Sacred Seal: Lyn’s seal slot is flexible for whatever your team is in need of, she works well with Spd Ploy 3 or Def Ploy 3 due to her decent res stat. Quickened Pulse is another option if you want to use Glimmer or Moonbow in the special slot
