I use Ralley Def/Res, Spur Def/Res, and a Spur Def 3 or Spur Res 3 seal to buff any ally unit to be invulnerable. You can alternatively use Spur Atk/Spd, and a Spur Atk 3 or Spur Res 3 seal for making an ally an ultimate nuke. The other parts of the build are interchangeable, but using either a Blade build or an anti mage build could work well with Grima's Truth

With Morgan's amazing default kit, this build aims to utilize Morgan's strengths without having to sacrifice major 5-star units.

Weapon: Icon Class Red Tome.png Grima's Truth is one of the best support weapons in the game, with a good 14 MT. It acts as a built in Atk Smoke 2.png Atk Smoke 2 and Spd Smoke 2.png Spd Smoke 2, as well as Seal Atk Spd 2.png Seal Atk/Spd 2 in one. It also has the added benefit of giving all allies within 2 spaces +Atk/Spd 5, which is better than Hone Atk 3.png Hone Atk 3/Hone Spd 3.png Hone Spd 3. This gives Morgan a good niche to fill as a support mage. Grima's Truth comes in default with Morgan.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is always a solid choice for Morgan, like many other units. It allows Morgan to move allies out of harm or into combat. However, if you want Morgan to play as a buffer, Icon Skill Assist.png Rally Def/Res will work, as Grima's Truth can always be used to proc Atk/Spd. You can find Reposition on Selena and Barst, and Rally Def/Res on Roderick.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Dragon Fang comes in default with Morgan's kit, meaning that there is no skill inheritance needed for it. Dragon Fang, when proc'd, gives Morgan a +50% to his total damage. As morgan will be hitting enemies to debuff enemies and buff allies, the extra bit of damage helps. If you want something a bit faster, Icon Skill Special.png Luna will serve you well, which can be found on units like Catria and Frederick.

A Passive:Death Blow 3.png Death Blow 3 will fall into Morgan's A Passive, as it gives him a needed +6 to his atk. If you don't have a Klein to sacrifice, Darting Blow 3.png Darting Blow 3 also works, which is much easier to find on units like Florina and Rebecca. If you want more survivability, Fury 3.png Fury 3 will work wonders for Morgan, as his defenses are very low. You can find Fury on Hinata.

B Passive:Dull Ranged 3.png Dull Ranged 3 is Morgan's fodder skill, as (currently), he is the only unit to have it. It's effect is the same as most of the Love Abounds! units, where it shuts down all field buffs from ranged threats. This gives him an advantage over mages and archers, especially green meta threats like Nino and PA Inigo. Of course, he naturally comes with this amazing skill.

C Passive: Spur Def Res 2.png Spur Def/Res 2 comes naturally with Morgan, so it is a no-given that he should use it here to cover for his lack of buffs in the defensive areas, however other buffs can be put here to suit your needs. Morgan's default C passive is conveneint for those who want to use him right off the bat.

Sacred Seal:Morgan's Sacred Seal is very flexible, as he can not maximize ploys that well, and he won't be able to get much out of heavy/flashing blade. It all comes down to what you need Morgan to do. Breath of Life 3.png Breath of Life 3 and Savage Blow 3.png Savage Blow 3 can be used to make Morgan as a hard-hitting support, while spurs, fortifies, and drives can be used to cement Morgan as a complete buffer.

(This is my first build contribution, so I'm sorry if I'm not that helpful.)

The Branded King batch brings us Chrom and the Morgans. While Morgan (F) takes a defensive gameplay, Morgan (M) brings us another offensive Red mage. As such, this build tries to bring him a little up notch. So, let's see how the Special Dealer build goes!

Weapon: For this build, we're using Grima's Truth as our weapon of choice. Excluding the +3 DEF that helps little, the 5 ATK/SPD stat stealing effect is primordial for this. While Rauðrblade is a powerful tome as well, it's not recommended for this.

Assist: The assist skill is very flexible but I recommend Draw Back or Reposition. Those are the best choices so that Morgan can pull allies away from enemy range.

Special: Morgan naturally comes with Dragon Fang which is a powerful skill... but not the best skill for this build since it has 4 CD. You can either use Draconic Aura or Luna for this. The reason is that those two have 3 CD, which will allow Morgan to attack once and, in case the enemy survived, attack once again with the Special ready. Glimmer can also be useful, but it's not recommended since it'll help at nothing if Morgan cannot deal damage to his foe.

A Skill Slot: Considering Morgan's offensive nature, the most reliable choice is the good ol' Fury. This aids Morgan a lot, especially if you take that he can reach close to 60 ATK, stat stealing included. This is mostly for his ATK and SPD, since you can disregard his DEF and RES and he's not much of an Enemy Phase unit. However, if you're not comfortable with taking 6 damage every time he engages in battle, then Swift Sparrow is a substitute, since it gives him the necessary buffs on the phase he's mostly active.

B Skill Slot: From the recommended choices, I'd say for you give Renewal the priority of inheriting on Morgan. He's very much a glass cannon, not depending on what IVs you get, so keeping him patched up outside of external healing via staff is very important. It also helps (a little) with the 6 damage coming from Fury. While being useful on many units, Desperation is a good skill if you're running Glimmer, since it disregards your own special retaliation after the enemy countered you.

C Skill Slot: To be really honest, this slot is rather ignorable under its own terms, so I defer to your judgement. You can leave Spur Def Res to support other allies or insert something else like Savage Blow if you want to deal a little extra damage to other foes nearby the one you attacked.

Sacred Seal Slot: Heavy Blade is the only Seal you can equip here in order to make this whole build work out for Morgan. Since he can reach high levels on his ATK stat, the skill will activate most of the time.
