Standard bladetome set, though with Spd Ploy to help with doubling. Heavy Blade allows for quick Draconic Aura procs. If using a Tactics team instead of flier emblem, the seal can be swapped out for Guidance and the special for Glimmer. Swift Sparrow is an option, though Fury gives almost the same offensive power while also raising her Res to proc Spd Ploy more consistently.

Anti-Range
Click to show/hide build description
With the default build, only the resistance part of the built-in Distant Def 3 of Morgan(F)'s personal weapon, Blárserpent+, is useful. This build serves to maximize the potential of Blárserpent+ by making the defense portion useful as well.

Iote's and Distant Def 3 are musts for this build, but it does not matter whether one goes in the A slot or in the seal slot. It is good to note, however, that the Michalis Grand Hero Battle has Iote's Shield A readily available. For the B slot, Quick Riposte 3 and a 2-charge special must be selected. This way, Morgan(F) can kill or severely injure any ranged unit that attacks her.

On enemy phase, with Fortify Fliers 3 combined with a Def-refined Blárserpent+ and Distant Def 3, Morgan(F) effectively has at least 37 Def and 51 Res. Blue magic, red magic, and staffs will be rendered incapable of damaging Morgan. Although bows, daggers, and green magic will deal minimal damage, it is safe to say that this build is anti-range.

Icon Skill Assist.png Flexible / Reposition
Stats: Flexible
Click to show/hide build description
As the name suggests this build is meant to capitalize on the fact that Morgans weapon comes with Distant Def 3. For her weapon refine we want +Def to help with Bows and Daggers since her Def is much lower than her Res ( going +Res isn't a bad option either if your gonna go for more damage with Iceberg). Assist is Flexible to suit your taste/team comp although Reposition is always a nice choice. For her special there are 2 options, Glimmer and Iceberg. Iceberg is nice cause she comes with it and after both Distant Def's proc you gain an additional 22 dmg (assuming neutral iv's, no flier buffs, and no Res weapon refine). Glimmer is Also a great option here as it has a faster charge rate compared to Iceberg also with her base Atk stat of 46 (neutral iv's) that adds 23 dmg which isn't much different from what you get with Iceberg. For her A skill we go with Distant Def 3 to stack with her weapon which comes to a total of +12 Def/Res when attacked. Her B skill can be left with the base Guard. But if you prefer not using Guard, Quick Riposte 3 is nice to help her double or the new Dull Ranged 3 form M Morgan would not be bad choices either. C skill like in most builds is left as Flexible to suit you team comp. But if you are gonna use this in a Flier Emblem Team, Goad Fliers is the best option so that Morgan Can still receive Hone/Fortify/Ward buff's from her teammates as these buff benefit her more. As for the Seal we use Iote's Shield to neutralize the "effective against flier" stat that all bows come with as well as certain tomes like Merric's Excalibur which also has it. For her IV's neutral would probable be the best as you not really losing much but with other Iv's you will be losing out on either her tanking stats(ie. Def/Res/Hp) or her dmg stats( -Spd would prob be the best option for a negative IV as her base 30 isn't really enough to double or prevent doubling). A + Res/-Spd is better if your gonna go with Iceberg to help increase her damage as for Glimmer +Atk/-Spd is also the better option for increasing her dmg. +Def IV's are also not terrible as it allows better tanking of bows/daggers.

Player Phase Ploy Machine
Click to show/hide build description
As the Mage Flier with highest Resistance, Morgan's ability to utilize ploys paired with superior movement as a flier should be taken seriously. This build looks to maximize on one of the many ways she can be lethal on the battlefield. Preferably, she should be +Res to maximize ploy potential, but she can also be +Atk or +Spd if you feel that she needs a little more killing potential.

First up in her skillset is her weapon. This one's a no-brainer. As a player phase build, Blarblade+ is great due to the utilization of buffs, especially nowadays with the Tactic skills being highly present in the metagame allowing her to perform well on both mixed and flier (due to Hone and Fortify Fliers) teams.

Her assists should help her move her or her allies around, which Reposition and Draw Back serve the best for.

Her specials make use of her high Resistance, both Iceberg and Glacies deal a lot of extra damage when activated. It's up to you, the player, whether you're willing to wait an extra turn for the higher Glacies damage or to have the quicker cooldowns at the cost of more damage with Iceberg.

Her A special is Swift Sparrow 2, increasing her attack power massively while not dropping her Resistance with Life and Death. Alternatively, she can run Death Blow 3, Darting Blow 3, and Mirror Strike 2, since they are all pretty good options for her, since they all help to make her faster or stronger against mages.

Her B special is Chill Spd 3, in order to maximize her ability to debuff opponents. If you're on a budget, you can also use B Tomebreaker 3 in order to gain an edge over high Res blue mages such as Linde and Delthea, or Lancebreaker 3 to guarantee the kills on lance units. Swordbreaker 3 and R Tomebreaker 3 are not recommended since Blarblade and the weapon triangle advantage already make her deal enough damage to likely kill reds in one shot.

Her C special is Res Ploy 3, used to lower enemy's defenses against her attacks. She can also run Spd Ploy 3 in order to allow for more doubles, though it won't stack with Chill Spd 3.

Her seal is Atk Ploy 3, used to lower enemy's offense. She can also run Def Ploy 3 in order to set the enemy up for a teammate to kill.

And that concludes her build. A ploy machine with strong 34/30 offense and a base 33 of resistance has the stats that allow her to be a strong mage killer. I hope you enjoy this build and thanks for reading :)

Magical Wall Morgan

An ennemi phase build, Can provide debuff and take hits even from some green mages, Also her amazing resistance alows her to make good use of Ploy skills. Reposition is always quiet a good option, for her A Mirror stance alows her to deal more damage when she got attacked you can also run Distant def but she will relay on her special to deal good damage, her B slot Guard is a good budget option but quick ripost will help her to double and charge up her special, chill speed is an other good option to support your team. About her C slot and sacred seal two ploy skills can help a lot your team Distant def is also a good optin so she can tank more hits

Power of Bonds
Click to show/hide build description
Through the power of bonds, F!Morgan makes a decisive comeback! While this build works with any blue mage, F!Morgan finds herself in a great place as she has roughly the 4th highest Res out of the Blue mages, but is the only one in the top 5 that is a flier, giving her the ability to position herself better than the others, giving her the TACTICAL ADVANTAGE.

By giving Morgan an -owl tome, we raise all of her stats to the +6 that a -serpent tome can. This aids her middling Spd, though it honestly doesn't do much, only boosting it to 33 (given a -Spd nature), however, it does help her damage output. However, if we use F!Morgan outside of Solo modes and move to other modes like Rival Domains, Grand Conquest, or Defense Relay, Morgan can get up to +8 to her stats.

The Assist is a bog-standard movement assist, but we use Drag Back or Swap so that we can move Morgan into position to Ploy enemy units.

The Special is either Iceberg or Glacies. We are using specials that scale off of Morgan's Res for obvious reasons, especially since she can ideally reach 51-59 Res (in-combat) with all of her skills in use. Iceberg is being used as the tried and true enemy phase 3-Charge Special + QR combo works. Glacies for the same reason, but only if you have a way of pre-charging it by one, like Ostia's Pulse or Quickened Pulse.

For the A-Skill we ideally use Atk/Res 3, which sadly only comes from Seasonal units. Atk/Res Bond 3 also synergies well with her Weapon and Special. For those inclined not to fodder off seasonal units, Mirror Stance 3 is a fine budget alternative.

For the B-Skill we ideally use QR 3 since it has been tested to work wonders with 3-Charge Specials like Iceberg. Alternatively you can use Vantage 3 for later engagements.

C-Skill is a Ploy as it would be criminal to not use Morgan's Res stat.

For Seals either another Ploy would work, or DD3 for boosting her already high in-combat Res.

The Best Piece on the Board
Click to show/hide build description
This Morgan is high investment with high returns, but she's best placed in a Flying team, because she desperately needs the stat boosts from the Hone/Fortify skills to both make her viable and power up her weapon.

Morgan's base stats are 50/30/12/33, which are less than ideal for Heavy Blade activation (or anything at all, really). However, when she receives the Hone/Fortify buffs plus Mirror Impact's boost on initiation, her stats reach 62/36/18/49 –- much more impressive. This can be boosted further with Goad Fliers and/or Ward Fliers support.

With all these boosts, she can easily activate Heavy Blade and proc Iceberg in short order – and with 62 Atk and 49 Res along with a glut of bonuses for her Blárblade+, she’s going to be the definition of overkill. Let's break it down:

【 Weapon 】

  • Icon Class Blue Tome.png Blárblade+ makes this yet another Bladetome build. It's boring, but it works. Stack those buffs and watch the enemies fall.

【 Assist 】

  • Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is an old standby, and works very well to help snatch allies out of danger.
  • Icon Skill Assist.png Swap is a good alternative if that fits your play style better.

【 Special 】

  • Icon Skill Special.png Iceberg is chosen because the cooldown of any Special will already be increased by 1 due to wielding Blárblade+, and because Glacies would likely be overkill in most cases anyway.
  • Icon Skill Special.png Glimmer is often used with Bladetome builds due to its low cooldown and reliance on high damage to scale; however, it's outshone here due to Morgan's high Res stat and the Res+10 boost she'll get from her A Skill. Regardless, it is a valid option, though it causes Mirror Impact to lose some of its value.

【 A Skill 】

  • Mirror Impact.png Mirror Impact is definitely an expensive skill; at the time of this writing, it's newly (and only) available on a seasonal unit, namely SR!Laevatein. However, Morgan makes great use of it on this set. It grants Atk+6/Res+10 upon unit initiation -- not only granting a boost to her raw damage output with her attack stat, but also boosting the damage of Iceberg when it fires off. It also prevents enemies from making a follow up attack, which is invaluable considering Morgan's middling-to-low Spd.
  • Death Blow 3.png Death Blow 3 is a much cheaper option, but it doesn't boost her Res (and therefore has no effect on her Special damage) nor does it prevent her opponent from making a follow up.
  • Mirror Strike 2.png Mirror Strike 2 is Mirror Impact's precursor. It's not nearly as good -- offers Atk/Res+4 on initiation with no cancellation of foe's follow up -- but it'll serve in a pinch.

【 B Skill 】

  • Chill Res 3.png Chill Res 3 is what I use on my Morgan, but her B Skill depends on your team composition. While Morgan definitely benefits from docking points from an enemy's Res to help her inflict as much damage as possible, if the rest of her allies deal physical damage, then the team as a whole might be better off with a different skill.
  • Guard 3.png Guard 3 is very useful and comes packaged with her, so there's no reason not to use it if Chill Res isn't working for your team.
  • Flier Formation 3.png Flier Formation 3 might be a good option to allow Morgan to swoop in unexpectedly to take out a foe.

【 C Skill 】

【 Sacred Seal 】

  • Heavy Blade 4.png Heavy Blade 4 is the only real choice here. Because of the Atk boosts from Hone Fliers and Mirror Impact, Morgan will usually be able to negate the cooldown penalty from her Blárblade+ and fire off deadly Icebergs relatively quickly.
