Nephenee has an excellent stat spread, lacking only in resistance. Her attack, speed, and defense are all formidable, and as an infantry lance-user this build aims to take advantage of that by using Wrath and the Slaying Lance+. She will charge her special rapidly and be able to deal an immense amount of bonus damage with it. This build is also rather low in terms of investment, as most of her default kit is very good and used here.

Weapon: Icon Class Blue Lance.png Slaying Lance+ is native to her kit and also quite critical to her build. She will always achieve her special faster because of this weapon's ability. This effect, coupled with Wrath's potential, affords her the ability to activate her special, in most cases, every turn.

Assist Skill: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is an excellent assist skill for many units and Nephenee is no exclusion to this. With this skill, she will be able to help her team both defensively and offensively. She could safely Reposition an ally behind her and then block the enemy's path to that ally. She could move an ally closer to an enemy with this skill as well.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow could be considered optimal for this build because of it's low charge time. Its charge time is decreased even further by her weapon (which reduces it to 1) and her B skill (if active, would then reduce the charge to 0). If she is within the active threshold for Wrath, then it is even possible for her to activate this skill twice in the same combat instance. For example, say she initiates with her special charged, she will activate it and then be countered, thus allowing her charge time to be reduced to zero again, permitting a second activation. Other skills, such as Bonfire, would yield more damage on activation at the expense of one more action of cooldown. Moonbow yields the most synergy with this build, and is also a part of her default skill list.

A Skill: Fury 3.png Fury 3 is an excellent skill that helps bolster Nephenee's potential. Fury adds to her pre-existing high defensive stat, making her even tankier. It also contributes to her offensive potential, affording her both more Speed and Attack. Fury's passive damage also helps Nephenee enter her necessary threshold for enabling her B skill, Wrath.

B Skill: Wrath 3.png Wrath 3 is powerful for Nephenee and is even pre-built into her skill-set. Wrath is integral to this build as it allows Nephenee to have Moonbow charge at the beginning of all Player Phase's (given she is within its HP requirement) and also enables her to do more damage with it.

C Skill: Flexibility is suggested here, for there are no specific skills that would help Nephenee excel for this build. For example, various team supporting skills would suffice here.

Sacred Seal: This slot can also be addressed with some flexibility, for she has no Sacred Seal that is an absolute must in this build.

This build allows even a poor IV Nephenee to handle just about any situation. With Nephenee's already fairly well rounded stats, the Res boosts mixed with frequent heals from Aether can make Nephenee both a knife's edge choke defender or solo flanker.

With the Slaying Lance+ with the Res +4 boost and Distant Def 3, this will basically make Nephenee a damage sponge that can be charge boosted from Steady Breath by a foe engaging her from any range. Avoiding foes that target resilience is really not a huge issue now, with the obvious exception of Fell Vessel Robin.

Wrath 3 is an effective (B) slot move, making Aether both hit and heal for impressive numbers. With the 50% Def/Res ignore from Aether and the +10 damage from Wrath 3, Nephenee can counter an attacking Hector or Hector (LA) from upwards of 30+ damage and heal enough to withstand the assault. Utilizing a "buddy system" approach with Hinoka (WF) can easily eliminate said Hector and Nephenee will be ready for the next advance.

Threaten Spd 3 acts both defensively and offensively for Nephenee here. Though she may not have enough base speed to guarantee a double-strike on every foe, it is likely that the -5 speed on surrounding enemies will keep her from suffering a double-strike, herself.

Distant Def 3 makes just about any ranged-foe situation an opportunity to charge Steady Breath and get offensive leverage from Wrath 3.

Aether, with assistance from Slaying Lance+, Steady Breath and Wrath 3 becomes an almost rapid-fire attack under most circumstances. When Nephenee is played defensively, incoming attacks automatically count as either +2 or +3 charge for her. Because of Aether being reduced from 5 charge to 4, this almost guarantees that a close-attacking foe will suffer an Aether from Nephenee, severely damaging them and returning Nephenee to a healthy state, while also making it very likely that a range-attacking foe will be receiving an Aether on Nephenee's next turn after suffering a -5 Speed debuff.

Strategically, it is best to leave Nephenee in a position to be attacked. Due to her defensive abilities and heavy retaliation, the most effective use of this build is to play Nephenee as a defensive unit and wait for enemies to engage.

In Path of Radiance, Nephenee with Wrath and Resolve was almost undefeatable. With Brazen Atk/Spd (the Heroes equivalent of Resolve) and her standard Wrath you can recreate the FE9 glory days.

Weapon: Icon Class Blue Lance.png Dauntless Lance is her personal lance and serves as an upgraded Slaying Lance, reducing Moonbow to 1 charge, with extra Armor killing power. The stance skill effect makes her tougher and faster in the Enemy Phase. Alternatively +Speed allows her to double more enemies in both phases, especially once Brazen Atk/Spd is active. Either works well.

Assist Skill: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is just an all around great support skill for rearranging your allies.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow is the best choice because it's charge time is so low and it's in her base kit. The +10 damage from Wrath makes up for Moonbow's weaker effect compared to Bonfire or other longer charging specials. Few foes can survive Nephenee dropping two Moonbows on them in the same combat.

A Skill: Brazen Atk Spd 3.png Brazen Atk/Spd 3 boosts Nephenee's Attack and Speed around the same threshold that Wrath activates, allowing her to do even more damage and double even more foes.

B Skill: Wrath 3.png Wrath 3 allows Nephenee to charge her special incredibly quickly once she drops to 75% health and add 10 damage to each special activation. Plus she comes with it, just as she did in Path of Radiance.

C Skill: Nephenee's C skill is open to whatever synergises best with her team.

Sacred Seal: Quickened Pulse.png Quickened Pulse is useful here because it allows Nephenee to start the first round with Moonbow full charged, but it's not essential to the build.

Defensive and Offensive builds for Nephenee using her new lance!

Icon Class Blue Lance.png Dauntless Lance with Skill Refine grants +4 Def/Spd on enemy phase during combat and effective vs Armored and -1 Cooldown for Specials.

Specials should be either Icon Skill Special.png Bonfire or Icon Skill Special.png Ignis if you don't mind the extra cool-down. Icon Skill Special.png Aether is fantastic for self healing of course but costly to obtain.

A Slot - Steady Breath.png Steady Breath is recommended for +4 Defense and Special cool-down per attack. Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 or Flashing Blade 3.png Flashing Blade 3 can also be used for a bit more offensive use depending on her IVs. You lose defense on enemy phase but you still will benefit from Special cool-down.

B Slot - Wrath 3.png Wrath 3 is pretty solid and she comes with it, Special cool-down and +10 damage on Special activation.

C Slot - Pretty flexible to be honest. Threaten Atk 3.png Threaten Atk 3 helps her ensure to reduce damage, but a debuff or buff of your choice can work. Atk Smoke 3.png Atk Smoke 3 is also a great option.

Sacred Seal - Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 is needed for +6 Def/Res boosting. You can also use Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 or Flashing Blade 3.png Flashing Blade 3 Sacred Seals for more offensive builds.

Support Ideas..

Don't forget to give her Ally Support (for +2 Stats) and give her Summoner support if she is your favorite <3 (+2 stats again!)

Water Blessing + Ryoma can be a good pair due to his innate Guidance 3.png Guidance 3 to allow quick movement and Water Blessing buff of +4 Defense.

New Years Azura can buff +7 Defense using her Earth Dance 3.png Earth Dance 3 (+5 Field buff) and +2 in combat from her innate Weapon Icon Class Green Axe.png Hagoita.
