This build aims to utelize Soleil's amazing stats to make her an infantry tank, allowing her to tank attacks while abusing low Special cooldown.

Weapon: The main choice of weapon is Icon Class Red Sword.png Wo Dao+ for it's +10 when activating a special. This allows Soleil to deal more damage with her special and gain more out of it. Icon Class Red Sword.png Slaying Edge+ is also a great option, shortening the cooldown for even more usage. With Wo Dao+, you can boost the powers of Soleil's Special, and with Slaying Edge+, you can activate it more frequently. For Refining, +Atk or +Spd is optimal.

Assist: Like many units, Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is one of Soleil's best options to move units out of harm and move units into battle.

Special: For specials, both Icon Skill Special.png Dragon Fang and Icon Skill Special.png Aether are solid options. Dragon Force has a smaller cooldown and boosts attack quite a signifigant margain, while Aether allows Soleil to tank more.

A Passive: Her A slot will be taken by Steady Breath.png Steady Breath. This will not only let Soleil tank hits more easily, but will charge her cooldown faster, making use of longer cooldowns more easily. If you can't use Steady Breath, a good alternative is to use Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 and Distant Def 3.png Distant Def 3 for a Def/Res +6 boost against either ranged or melee enemies.

B Passive: Her B slot will be used for Wrath 3.png Wrath 3, the main part of this build. This will allow Soleil to charge her cooldown faster when she dips below 75% hp, as well as adding a +10 damage on top of Wo Dao+ if equipped. This will allow Soleil to OHKO more matchups than she normally would.

C Passive: Her C slot is much more flexible than her other skills. Using a buff passive here for more team synergy is optimal. Infantry Pulse 3.png Infantry Pulse 3 can be used for infantry synergy teams.

Sacred Seal: Soleil's Seal is very flexible as well. For a faster charge, Quickened Pulse.png Quickened Pulse can be used to shorten Soleil's special at the start, and if in tandem with Slaying Edge+, it will shorten the cooldown by -2, making Dragon Fang have a 2 charge cooldown, and Aether a 3 charge, effectively making Dragon Force have the same cooldown as Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow. Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 and Distant Def 3.png Distant Def 3 can also be used to effectively used together to increase Soleil's defenses for both ranged and melee opponents. Alternatively, you can effectively use two of the same Def skills to create a +12 Def/Res combat buff for Soleil, allowing her to tank massive damage from foes.

Soleil is a hard-hitting sword unit that, when properly built, can destroy enemies and become a mobile tank, utelizing tons of charge benefits and many combat effects.

Alright, let's get one important thing out of the way for this to work you're going to need to use the weapon forge and go with the defence route on this Slaying Edge+. The idea for this actually came while I was messing around with Close Def 3 my Soleil is +Def -Res and while at first I wasn't that excited to have a character I love so much have these IV's I decided to try and play along and make a build to compliment it she can easily be running around with 42hp, 52 atk, 38 spd, 35 def and finally 21 res (not including summoner or ally supports). With this build, she's almost like a more mobile Armor unit, the biggest downside is this requires a heap of resource so it's not going to just be something anyone can whip up but hopefully, it gives you all some ideas and creativity too!

Glass Cannon
Click to show/hide build description
With her default Firesweep Sword+, a fantastic 38/35 offensive statline and access to keystone offensive skills such as Life and Death, Soleil can be made into an incredibly potent melee glass cannon, capable of unleashing two potent hits from her blade without fear of retaliation. Her default weapon is perfect for this build, as it enables her to avoid counterattacks that would normally spell doom for her due to her tendency to run Life and Death to boost her offenses. Draw Back is her best Assist due to her poor durability with Life and Death, and Draconic Aura her best Special due to her incredible Attack stat. Life and Death grants her the best boost to her offensive potential possible, though Swift Sparrow may be run instead if the player wishes for more durability on her and has a surplus of resources. Hit and Run enables her to get out of the range of enemy offensive threats in a similar manner to how it's run on Brave weapon users, while her best Sacred Seal is Speed +3 if the player wants her to reach the 46 Speed marker, or Attack +3 if they're more interested in having individual attacks from her and her Draconic Aura deal more damage. Her C passive is up to the player's tastes.

Arena Points Monster
Click to show/hide build description
Tier 20 is a world where you need to suck up as much arena points as possible so you can stay in there. This set is incredibly expensive and for good reason as the high value skills are quite crucial in getting matches with high enough points. She already makes great use of Firesweep Sword with a statline that scares a great amount of the large roster of characters. A dual rally skill is more for points but can be switched out with a positioning skill if you want to move someone else. Galeforce may seem to just be there but it can make her player phase even more brutal as she can tear up anyone when it triggers as you can move again. Aether could also be used instead. Heavy Blade synergizes very well with her high attack and makes her very scary to the point that it scares me! And being able to also double makes the Cooldown Charge be reduced by a whole 4 if you double and manage to have high enough attack. Swift Sparrow is a good alternative and could be chosen over Heavy Blade as it increases her attack in speed when you attack. Passive B can be Renewal for the healing when and if she's attack or Wings of Mercy as she can save you from many situations. Drive skills are good for support. Seals should be more focused on her offense such as the +3 attack sacred seal.

A build that imitates a Fury +spd Ryoma, so if you happen to have a spare Hector, but no (+spd) Ryoma, or simply want to make Soleil as offensive/defensive as Ryoma, then this the way to go.

41 speed is impeccable despite not needing to run a stat boosting A skill, and its highly preferred that the Soleil be +spd so that she can double most things with a bit of speed support as well as not be doubled back. Typically anyone who she can double that attacks her will be shredded by her Wrath Dragonic Aura. This goes for some lance units too.

Now that she's hurt, she can charge up a nuke on her own as your arena match proceeds and one-hit another unit to death when the time is needed. Vantage is more so a defense team option, or budget option since not all of us have Nephenees.

Soleil doesn't really need any additional spd, but you can go for that crispy 44 spd with a seal if you'd like. But more often its safer to give her Distant Def seal for some added bulk, and I will say, it has saved me from a boosted Lute who was guidance'd in.

Infantry Pulse provides nice special cooldown support, but it really would only work if she's -res rather than -hp. Panic Ploy is definitely the better option if your S-Support (and/or water blessing) are elsewhere as most mages and archers will have lower hp than Soleil with her refined weapon, so she can debuff their offenses boosts and tank ranged hits easily.

Overall, its a very versatile build that's amazingly powerful and can be used in any game mode.

Soleil's main strenght is her Attack and Speed, so a high ATK or SPD IV is recommanded for this build.

The purpose of this build is to either deal lots of damage safely to an enemy so it can be eliminated by another hero in your team or quickly eliminate without taking any damage. This is possible thanks to the Firesweep Sword+, however do have in mind that when attacking with Soleil, she needs either healing back-up or not be in the range of other enemies. Your main target will be units with swords, axes and, if possible, lances as they are the easiest one's to bait compared with magic, staff and bow users. Reposition is a very handfull support skill to get your heroes out of danger. When you try to bait an enemy towards soleil, you may find one of your other heroes in range of the enemies. If you think that the hero should get priority over Soleil, then you can give them that extra space or simply help them when you made a mistake. Draconic Aura is a powerful special since it does quite the amount of damage and has a low charge rate. Since you mostly do double attacks you can already use your special on tougher enemies, like sword and lance users or heavy units with lots of DEF. Life and Death 3 is an excellent A passive for Soleil, since your main focus should be her SPD and ATK, you will receice +5ATK/SPD but at the cost of -5DEF/RES. Another good A passive is Swift Sparrow 2, when you go into combat you receive an extra +4 ATK/SPD without lowering your DEF and RES. I honestly recommand going for Swift Sparrow first and use Life and Death if that is your only choice or think that the extra ATK and SPD will help. When using Life and Death be careful when you tru to bait an enemy, make sure only your target can attack Soleil and that she will survive the attack. It is recommanded to have a good healer in your team or a back-up hero when Soleil is too weak. Now there are alot of sword units with high speed, such as Lucina and may sometimes not surpass their speed. This is were Swordbreaker 3 comes in handy. If your HP is above 50% and fighting a sword unit, you will do a guaranteed follow-up attack. If you think you do have enough speed, consider Hit and Run. This skill is very useful if you can't afford Swordbreaker or want to get a step farther away from other units so you won't take too much damage, since her DEF and RES is so low in combination with average HP, she can easily be taking out. Threaten Speed 3 is good for baiting, as enemies receive -5 SPD when they are 2 spaces away from Soleil, giving a higher possibility for Soleil to do a double attack. This is best used on Infranty units with swords, axes and lances.

Your seal should cover up depeding on what IV you got. Go for a +3 ATK seal if you got the -ATK iv. Got the -SPD iv? Boost her with a +3 SPD seal

This build is about physical bulk and survival. Decent defense stat, especially when paired with fury and a def+ weapon. Renewal/aether helps counter the health drain and any damage she might take. If you're running Aether, you should probably use the Slaying edge to proc more often. Alternatively, with her defenses boosted by a close defense seal, fury or brazen atk def, and using a Wo Dao and Ignis, she can reliably cut down almost any enemy you might be facing.

Heavy Blade 3 is the reason this build even exist, it makes it so when you attack while desperation is active, You hit then once and then proc the special.

You need Fury 3 so you can tank a few hits so you can proc desperation or just lower your health from the recoil, it also helps greatly against Myrrh, who if u have 5 lower defense or more you can’t double, considering Soleil has a nice bulk so with a fortify defense or any defense buff you will break the 5 or lower defense margin.

You need Slaying edge+ so You can use Draconic Aura or galeforce, or even luna, although it's not desirable.

Which leads me to the Ivs and refinement, Speed Refinement is a no brainer so you can double more, But the preferred Ivs is Atk + , So You Can Benefit From Heavy Blade more and proc stronger Draconic Aura, as a speed + Ivs won’t benefit you if you have speed refinement as much as Atk + Iv , and the Atk Refinement give 1 lesser Atk , so if you have Spd+ , You can do the opposite too.

As for the C slot You Can use anything You like Threaten Spd 3 To Double More or threaten def for Myrrh, maybe even a buff for your allies Etc.

Preferred ally support is a buffer and dancer, like Shigure or any dancer really, to help Soleil double even more or get some more nice bulk against Myrrh.

Click to show/hide build description
This unconventional Soliel build is aimed at throwing off any opponents who challenge you in arena, as well as being an effective physical tank that can be effective in the player phase as well as the enemy phase with the right team synergy such as a defensive or offensive support buffer. Soliel has an incredible stat spread, especially with neutral stats, she has the best mix of attack and bulk out of nearly every sword unit in the game. This is why neutral stats are preferred.

Allies: The ally of choice for this build would be New Year Azura. She can run Drive Def 2.png Drive Def 2 in her c and seal slots to grant all allies a defensive boost within two spaces with the added bonus of having a similar effect in her weapon Icon Class Green Axe.png Hagoita+. Another good teammate to run with her on this build is Vanguard Ike with Def Tactic 3.png Def Tactic 3. As this will increase her defense with a flexible range, allowing for a variety of team formations. Earth blessing is best in this case for the extra ATK and HP in the earth season.

Weapon: Her weapon of choice is Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ as it allows for Soliel to strike back during the player phase without fear of being attacked to increase her survivability, which is useful in arena defense. However, while she can't counter attack on the enemy phase, her special helps out with that. If you want the build to be slightly more flexible, then Icon Class Red Sword.png Silver Sword+ is preferred as she can strike back during enemy phase to allow for quicker special charge while retaining the same attack as with the Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+, with the added bonus of refinement. In this case, it is better to take either the ATK refinement or the DEF refinement. The refinement will also help increase her HP which is slightly lacking.

Assist: For her Assist skill Icon Skill Assist.png Swap is preferred as it allows for tight and more co-ordinated movement between team members, something that is crucial to this build as she prefers to have supportive buffs from her team to increase her destructiveness and tankiness. Other team members should be running Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition OR Icon Skill Assist.png Sing / Icon Skill Assist.png Dance for greater movement options among the team.

Special: Her only preferred special is Icon Skill Special.png Pavise so that her tankiness is ensured. An ally running Infantry Pulse 3.png Infantry Pulse 3 will give her special an instant charge. (Be mindful of the HP increase from refinements and blessings)

Passive A: Depending on the weapon choice her preferred passive should be Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 as the main utility of this build is Soliel's frontline physical tankiness. This passive is more synergistic with the Icon Class Red Sword.png Silver Sword+ as it grants her more defense than steady breath and there is no need to make the cooldown faster. With Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ her preferred passive is Steady Breath.png Steady Breath because she can't counterattack. Meaning that she will need her special more often as the fight will be more drawn out.

Passive B: The absolute best B Passive for this build is Shield Pulse 3.png Shield Pulse 3 because it grants her a special cool down of -2 and reduces damage when her special triggers by 5 to increase tankiness. No other passive synergises with this build so well.

Passive C: This passive is flexible, but her default passive, Drive Res 2.png Drive Res 2 and Threaten Atk 3.png Threaten Atk 3 are preferred depending on how you wish to support your allies with this build.

Sacred Seal: Finally, her sacred seal has two options. You can either run Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 for that extra bulk or you can run the more situational but more effective Deflect Melee 3.png Deflect Melee 3 to act as a second, more powerful Pavise for when the opponent doubles Soliel. (Such as against an Ayra).

(Side note: This untested so i don't know if it works, but if Pavise activates on the opponent's second hit with deflect melee, the effects could stack and block at least 100% of the damage providing that it is an adjacent attack. Probably not how it works though.)

This build is mainly to tank those pesky physical attackers and deal a devastating Ignis/Bonfire. Icon Class Red Sword.png Safeguard+ is the main reason this build is bulky, the extra +7 defense with the defense weapon refinement adds bulk. For the Ivs, +def is perfect for this build but its not a must, -spd bane is reccomended but also not required, usually you don't want -spd but with this build, you want to get doubled more often to proc your specials more. You have such high defense that you wont be worried getting doubled at all.

For Special we go for Icon Skill Special.png Ignis or Icon Skill Special.png Bonfire. If you have -Spd bane,Steady Breath and Quick Riposte 3 get Icon Skill Special.png Ignis. If you don't have all that then Icon Skill Special.png Bonfire is the way to go. With Icon Class Red Sword.png Safeguard+(Def),Steady Breath.png Steady Breath and Close Def 3.png Close Def 3, it adds +21 more defense, with a def boon at 31 def, that's 52 defense, a 41 damage Icon Skill Special.png Ignis or 26 damage Icon Skill Special.png Bonfire.

Then we get to Steady Breath.png Steady Breath, a key skill to this build, if not Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 works just fine. Steady breath adds another +4 defense and faster charges for your Ignis/Bonfire, with a -Spd bane, you will get doubled more often and activating your specials more quickly.

The B skill we go for Quick Riposte 3.png Quick Riposte 3 for speeding up our special charges and doing an Ignis/Bonfire at the last hit. If no Quick Riposte 3 fodder, Guard 3.png Guard 3 works as well for tanking hits and reducing their special charges increases the bulk of the build

C skill I went for Atk Smoke 3.png Atk Smoke 3, to reduce their attack after the first combat, making their attacks do less damage while waiting for a Ignis. It's not required, this slot is really flexible, anything that helps your team.

And for Last we get Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 for the seal to bulk even more in melee combat.

This is a really strong build for Arena enemy phase, she will get wrecked by any sort of mages but she does well against dragon units, you would just want to position her against any Melee unit, even Lance units, she would able to defend any attack and demolish them with a heavy hitting Ignis.

Thanks to Soleil's beautifully offensive stat spread, she can really inflict damage like no other. With this build, she'll have 62 base attack and 40 base speed (66/44 when Lv.40+10), which is unrivaled by most other units. That doesn't even include buffs. Her defenses will float around the mid to low 20s, depending on the bane you choose. Dropping HP will help her reach Desperation thresholds more easily, while dropping Def or Res will maintain her bulk slightly more.

As for her skills, this set will be incredibly lethal to most units, especially slower ones. At 40 speed, she can easily double most units, and with ally support she can double even more. Essentially, she'll attack twice in battle. Due to her enormous 62 base attack, she'll almost assuredly trigger Heavy Blade. With this, it is essential that she have a 2 CC special. While it does not particularly matter which one, Moonbow will be the most reliable followed by Glimmer. With a 2 CC special, it'll be fully charged on Soleil's first strike, and will activate on her second. This is where Desperation comes in. She'll strike in a round with: 62 base attack twice, Moonbow, and +10 from the Wo Dao+. On a unit with 30 defense and neutral color, that adds up to be about 83 damage (32x2 + 19 from special). With a green unit, that unit going down. Hard.

Finally, her C skill is flexible. I opt for Odd Atk Wave 3 because that will give her +6 attack every other turn, but that can easily be substituted with ally buffs like Atk Tactic. It's important that she has ally support, because she will be relatively frail.

This build is designed to instantly proc Luna on every turn. Slaying Edge brings the cooldown of Luna down to 2, which is then reduced to 1 on the first turn thanks to Quickened Pulse. With help from another unit using Infantry Pulse, you can have Luna ready to go on the first turn. Swift Sparrow is used to help bolster her speed, just in case she doesn't finish off the enemy on the first strike, but Death Blow 3/4 can also be used. If you do not plan on using a unit with infantry pulse, you could swap out Quickened Pulse with Heavy Blade and swap Luna with Astra, but be advised that she will need to take a hit in order to activate Astra. Max Atk
Click to show/hide build description
This build aims to maximize Soleil's atk through her iv's and A slot, and it's a variant of her +spd Firesweep S+ sets.

Both specials are pretty good with this build as they both hit hard. Aether provides her with some sustain, however Astra's 4 cooldown plus the Heavy Blade Seal allows her to activate it every time she doubles. Reposition is a pretty useful skill to have but this slot is very flexible. Life and Death 3 gives her +5 to atk/spd wich is ideal to an offensive unit and since with the Firesweep S she can't be countered, with smart play, the -5 def/res is almost a non-issue. Plus this takes her atk to 61 without merges to 66 with +10 and her spd to 40 without merges to 44 with +10. As we're maxing her atk she doesn't have the spd to double sword units like Ayra or Zelguis. Her B slot is there to help with that, wich one comes down to player preference and availability. Atk Smoke and Spd Smoke are a way to minimize the damage Soleil might receive through her positioning since we aren't running Hit and Run or Drag Back. Heavy Blade is the best seal for this build since the 61 atk this build provides practically guarentees it will proc.
