With Ayra's high Spd, she can take full advantage of a Firesweep Sword+ to assail her foes without fearing a counterattack. This build is for players who want a unit that can be troublesome to deal with on a defense team.

Weapon: Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ is Ayra's weapon of choice. It denies the opponent from counterattacking, letting Ayra safely engage against any foe she likes without fear.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Draw Back is an Assist that brings the user and an ally back one space. It can frustrate the opponent when used on a defense team, as it'd slow down approaches, and it may even leave units stuck in a loop, which could force the opponent to try and engage the enemy, which might not be a safe course of action depending on Ayra's allies and their builds.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Regnal Astra is Ayra's Special, unique to her, and adds damage to Ayra's attack based off of her Spd. It adds a pretty good amount of damage considering how fast Ayra is, and this lets her break through a lot of opponents.

A Passive: Swift Sparrow 2.png Swift Sparrow 2 is Ayra's A skill. This build is strictly a player phase build, so this skill is perfect for Ayra, granting her +4 Atk and Spd when she initiates combat.

B Passive: Chill Spd 3.png Chill Spd 3 is an option for Ayra's B skill. It debuffs the fastest unit on the enemy team for -7 Spd. There's no other condition other than that, so that means as Ayra's opponents approach her, there's assuredly one unit that's hit by the debuff, making them slower, and a potentially easier target for Ayra or her teammates to prey on. This skill slot is flexible however, should the player feel like other skills are needed.

C Passive: This skill slot is flexible, open to be whatever the player needs. A buffing skill, like a Drive or a Tactic skill could suffice, but this is up to the player's discretion and team composition.

Sacred Seal: Flashing Blade 3.png Flashing Blade 3 is Ayra's Seal. If she can outspeed her opponent, she is granted an extra Special charge per attack. With Regnal Astra's fast charge and Ayra's lightning speed, bolstered by her skills, this can ensure that she'll activate Regnal Astra on her second strike.

This build leverages Camilla's oppressive offensive stats and pairs it with the ability to negate counterattacks. In other words, she is able to ORKO most units in the game without taking damage, letting her challenge multiple enemy units in a single match. The Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ gives her a hefty 48 base Attack, which rises to 52 when attacking. Her Speed on initiation is 45, which when paired with Hone buffs allow her to double nearly the entire metagame. A boon in Atk can also be useable, but moreso in Flier Emblem teams where Camilla can get a Spd buff. This is due to Spd being key in this build in order for Camilla to double and maximize her damage with Firesweep.

Swift Sparrow 2.png Swift Sparrow 2 is the focal point of the set, giving her a much needed boost to Speed and Attack. Life and Death 3.png Life and Death 3 is a passable alternative for those who lack Swift Sparrow, but it weakens her enemy phase by a noticeable amount.

Hit and Run.png Hit and Run is her go-to B-passive, since it makes all the more difficult for enemy units to kill her, especially when paired with teammate positioning assist skills. Drag Back.png Drag Back provides similar benefits if Hit and Run is not available, but causes Camilla to pull an enemy back with her if she does not finish off her target.

Camilla's C-passive is completely up to a player's team composition. On a flier team, she can run Goad Fliers.png Goad Fliers or Hone Fliers.png Hone Fliers to provide buffs to her flier teammates.

Her special should be offensive-focused such as Icon Skill Special.png Luna or Icon Skill Special.png Draconic Aura. Unlike in Brave builds, due to Firesweep Lance+'s higher Mt, Draconic Aura can potentially provide more consistent damage over Luna than Brave builds (which almost required a boon in Atk). Luna is more consistent against sturdier enemies though, such as Armored units who Camilla would otherwise not ORKO.

Camilla can also opt for Icon Skill Special.png Galeforce to devastate teams with successive attacks. If Galeforce is used, Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 and Quickened Pulse.png Quickened Pulse should be used for faster activation of Galeforce.

With Celica's high Spd, she can utilize a Firesweep Sword+ pretty well, which also pairs perfectly with her Double Lion skill.

Weapon: Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ is Celica's weapon of choice. It denies the opponent and the user from counterattacking, making it a purely player phase weapon. While this means Celica has no enemy phase presence at all, it makes her player phase presence much more formidable.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is a good Assist in general to use. Its uses are versatile, as it can either help bring an ally closer to the fray, or bring an ally out of danger.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow is Celica's Special. It pierces through her foe's Def, helping her break through sturdier opponents. With her B skill, Seal, and enough Spd, she can potentially activate this twice in her first round of combat, which is all but certain to destroy her foe.

A Passive: Death Blow 4.png Death Blow 4 is Celica's A skill. It grants her an impressive +8 Atk when initiating combat, which is perfect, as she'll only want to initiate combat most of the time anyway.

B Passive: Double Lion.png Double Lion is Celica's B skill. When she's at full health, she will strike twice consecutively, just as if she was wielding a Brave Sword+. After combat, she'll suffer 1 HP of damage, knocking her out of this effect. If Celica wants to use Double Lion throughout the map, she needs some form of healing, either through her Special or through the support of an ally. This effect is incredibly powerful, as Celica also has very good Spd, allowing her to potentially perform quadruple strikes against her opponents if they are slow enough.

C Passive: Atk Tactic 3.png Atk Tactic 3 is an option for Celica's C skill. It grants +6 Atk to all nearby allies as long as the team composition requirements are met, namely that there cannot be more than two of a movement type on the team. However, this skill slot is flexible, depending on player preference.

Sacred Seal: Flashing Blade 3.png Flashing Blade 3 is Celica's Seal. If she outspeeds her foe, she can get an extra Special charge with her attacks. This means that Celica should be able to strike once and charge her Special immediately, activating it on the second strike. With Double Lion, she can potentially perform a quadruple strike, and the process repeats: she'll strike again, and then her final strike will have Moonbow charged.

Weapon: Because Double Lion.png Double Lion occupies her B skill slot, Celica can't default to running Desperation 3.png Desperation 3 to circumvent powerful counterattacks (as most player phase units do)---meaning Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ is the perfect choice of sword. With it, her player phase potential is absurd, allowing her to delete a staggering percentage of the roster unhindered.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is the go-to assist for most infantry and is likely Brave Celica's best option.

Special: With either blade seal in effect, Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow, as a two charge special, will proc with or without Double Lion.png Double Lion in effect. With Double Lion.png Double Lion's effect, she can proc her special twice if her target survives three hits, increasing the odds of her being able to take out bulky blue units in one round.

A Passive: Death Blow 4.png Death Blow 4 is the most uncreative bit of powercreep ever and also a fantastic A skill to have in any player phase unit's base kit!

B Passive: Double Lion.png Double Lion is what makes Celica a good unit, allowing her to quad without jumping through the hoops of running a brave weapon and compensating for their innate speed penalty.

C Passive: C slots will almost always be flexible. However, Atk Tactic 3.png Atk Tactic 3 is a fantastic C skill to have in one's base kit, so if Celica is being used in a team with varying movement types, it will likely be worth keeping.

Sacred Seal: Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 or Flashing Blade 3.png Flashing Blade 3 are the ideal seal choices to augment her damage potential, increasing the rate at which she lowers her special's cooldown if her attack or speed are higher than her target's.

Elincia can make great use of a Firesweep weapon thanks to her incredible offensive spread of 34/36 (34/39 if +spd). With or without buff support, she can damage enemies for free and move back without worrying about counterattacks, able to double most enemies if speed buffed as well. Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+, as is the case with other firesweep melee weapons, is excellent for fliers due to their improved mobility, able to move overany terrain to evade danger, including when activating her B skill in this build.

To further increase Elincia's chances of achieving doubles and make the most use of her weapon, her kit should be fully offensive. Life and Death 3.png Life and Death 3 is generally more accessible than Swift Sparrow 2.png Swift Sparrow 2, and provides one more atk and spd, but it heavily cuts down on her defensive capabilities, particularly affecting the green/red mage tanking she can do in a pinch. While this build is focused on Player Phase, it's worthwhile to keep her defensive stats, especially if running a Ploy skill as well. Speed Plus 3.png Speed +3 is a good seal choice to ensure doubles, although Guidance 3.png Guidance 3 can be used in mixed emblem teams, and scores higher than the other seal choice in arena.

The other skill slots, that can't boost her offensive prowess, can help her stay out of danger. Hit and Run.png Hit and Run and Drag Back.png Drag Back help Elincia stay safe after initiating, even if she is unable to kill the opponent if Hit and Run is the chosen option. Because of this, that skill is a better choice than Drag Back, especially against very tanky enemies that can survive one of Elincia's doubles, or enemies so fast that they can't be doubled. Icon Skill Special.png Luna provides nice damage boosts every other engage, if Elincia is consistently doubling, while Icon Skill Special.png Galeforce gives Elincia extra mobility after several engages, which she comes out of unscathed, thanks to her weapon, along with scoring considerably higher than other specials on arena. As a C skill, Elincia can use the slot to buff others such as a flier buff, but her decent Res stat means she can ploy enemies, most notably netting her more wins against high Def/low Res enemies, especially given her flier mobility. If going with a ploy, keep in mind that she cannot have Life and Death equipped.

Karla boasts a terrifying offensive stat spread but sports lackluster defenses, meaning she is a superb candidate for Firesweep shenanigans. While her base sword is certainly a very strong option, a Firesweep Sword nullifies the significance of her paper-thin defensive stats on player phase (where she is most effective), which allows one to max out her offensive potential with the rest of the slots on this build.

Weapon: Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ is the choice of weaponry for this build, mitigating the impact of Karla's weak defensive capabilities on player phase, allowing Karla to put her stellar offensive stats to work unpunished if played properly.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is a solid assist for general use, opening up various strategic options for either pulling units away from danger or placing them in range of an enemy unit.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Luna is a strong special choice for this build, synergizing well with the Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 seal and leading to significantly higher damage output. Alternatively, Icon Skill Special.png Galeforce is an option that, with support from the Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 seal and ideally a dancer, will allot Karla more opportunities to put her potent offensive prowess to use.

A Passive: Life and Death 3.png Life and Death 3 is the A skill of choice for Firesweep Karla, augmenting her already terrific attack and speed at the cost of defenses. Given the choice of weaponry, Karla only gains from this skill selection.

B Passive: Chill Def 3.png Chill Def 3 is the ideal skill selection for the B slot. It increases the odds of Karla being able to one-round high defense units, which is especially important given the lack of an offensive special on this build. Drag Back.png Drag Back is an option to consider if using Icon Skill Special.png Luna in the special slot.

C Passive: Even Spd Wave 3.png Even Spd Wave 3 is Karla's C skill from her base kit and fits this build well---providing a massive Speed buff to her teammates as well as herself every other turn.

Sacred Seal: Heavy Blade 3.png Heavy Blade 3 is the seal of choice for Firesweep Karla, operating well in tandem with her relatively high strength and Life and Death---allowing Karla to proc Icon Skill Special.png Luna or Icon Skill Special.png Galeforce more often.

Dancer support is a wise idea, namely from a unit like Lene, who can compensate for the complete lack of enemy phase sword coverage with her unique sword. Infantry Pulse 3.png Infantry Pulse 3 support is highly recommended.

Leif's unique B skill makes him the only character that can wield a firesweep weapon and have galeforce activation after the FIRST combat (assuming doubling and higher attack than the target). That allows Leif to kill his target and then have another turn available immediately without any fear of retaliation.

This Leif is in love with attack and speed buffs/drives. If Leif has higher attack and enough speed to double his opponent he can slaughter every opponent that does not have a double stopping Skill (Wary Fighter, Swordbreaker, and Myrhh cause Great Flame) or is a very high defense blue.

The only things keeping Leif from the highest tier is his range (melee infantry) and the rise of every top tier unit needing to be dominant on both phases

Narvarre has extremely High Spd and so a Firesweep Sword works for him. Since the Firesweep Sword locked to 5* exclusive, it's easier to access meaning that you won't have to wait a long time for it. With this in mind, giving him Life and Death 3 really helps with his Spd which should push it up to 42, and with the Firesweep Swords 15 Mt + the extra 5 Atk from Life and Death, he'll be able to handle a fair amount of units, and this fixes his Low Atk problem. Hit and Run is the standard Bread and Butter for Firesweep Melee units, as they can't attack in Enemy Phase, and Reposition helps out if they need to bring someone with more Def to the frontlines to protect them. Giving him Atk or Spd +3 is another good idea as well as it will either push his Spd into easy Doubling Territory or help him with his Damage output, though whichever you give him is up to your preference. In the end, this Narvarre is a great idea and utilises his great Spd and helps out his Poor Atk a bit

Palla may seem to lack the swiftness and brute force of other typical sword units, especially when it comes to utilizing a Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+. However, unlike most other swords, Palla has the distinction of being a flier, and can thus richly benefit from flier-specific support skills such as Hone Fliers and Goad Fliers. Palla's normally middling Attack and Speed are also compensated with Firesweep Sword's high Might, her chosen A-slot passive skill, and flier buffs. Though Elincia is a more qualified user of the weapon to due more optimized stats, it is far easier to obtain (and merge, if applicable) an ideal-natured Palla than Elincia. Even if the player already owns an Elincia, her already-good legendary weapon, Amiti, is also too good to pass up under most circumstances.

Firesweep Sword+ has very good Might of 15 and allows Palla to make powerful, uncounterable and uninterrupted attacks, at the expense of her enemy phase capabilities. With Reposition support from her fellow fliers, Palla can potentially beat the majority of enemies or even clean up maps untouched.

With the Speed Plus 3.png Speed +3 and without taking into account Palla's chosen A-slot passive skill, an unmerged Palla can reach a respectable 37 Speed, which can be further boosted with the help of a Hone Fliers boost or multiple Goad Fliers. Life and Death 3.png Life and Death 3 is a primary option in the A-slot because it maximizes both Attack and Speed the most at 5 each. Though the Defense and Resistance drops don't bode well for Palla's bulk, she is unlikely to be doubled and will mostly be able to take one attack at minimum in emergencies. Swift Sparrow 2.png Swift Sparrow 2 preserves Palla's decent bulk instead, but falls short of Life and Death's boosts by one while being more difficult to acquire. Firesweep weapon users are also supposed to exclusively in player phase, so the defense drops from Life and Death aren't worth too much worry.

As usual of melee fliers, Hit and Run.png Hit and Run is a splendid skill for providing a means of retreat after battle. If Palla doesn't manage to bring her target down, Hit and Run allows her to move one space away, and move even further away and out of enemy range if her teammates can use Reposition on her. Swordbreaker 3.png Swordbreaker 3 can also be considered to enable better matchups against normally undoublable fast sword units such as Ayra and Fury Ryoma, though Hit and Run will provide generally better benefits.

Icon Skill Special.png Luna and Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow are chosen specials due to their low cooldown and hefty damage increase against high-Defense enemies; Palla also comes with Moonbow on her own. Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is standard on most melee fliers and helps Palla rescue her fellow teammates from enemy range. Finally, the C-skill slot is flexible, though Palla natively comes with Goad Fliers.png Goad Fliers which is an already-great offensive flier support skill.

With Ryoma's lightning Spd, he can perform excellently with a Firesweep Sword+ build.

Weapon: Icon Class Red Sword.png Firesweep S+ is Ryoma's weapon of choice here, allowing him to assail foes without fearing a counterattack, although he cannot counterattack either.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is a good Assist in general to use. Its uses are versatile, as it can either help bring an ally closer to the fray, or bring an ally out of danger. Flier units can put it to great use thanks to their freedom of movement.

Special: Glimmer is Ryoma's Special of choice. It'll help Ryoma deal even more damage, which is further boosted by his Bushido, allowing him to slice up his opponents.

A Passive: Life and Death 3 is Ryoma's A skill, chosen as it grants him +5 Atk and Spd at the cost of his defenses. This is a moot point as he should avoid being attacked anyway since he can't retaliate.

B Passive: Bushido is Ryoma's unique B skill, and it adds +10 damage to his attack when he activates his Special, helping him secure a victory against his foes.

C Passive: Goad Fliers is a good choice for Ryoma's C skill if he's on a flier team, allowing him to augment the offenses of his fellow flier allies. However, this skill slot is pretty flexible, open to be whatever else the player needs.

Sacred Seal: Heavy Blade 3 is chosen as Ryoma's Atk should be very high with Life and Death and the high Mt of his weapon. With it, he'll be able to activate Glimmer against many opponents on the second strike.
