Grand Hero Battle Revival: Legion[edit | edit source]

Active: Aug 14, 2017 at 7:00 AM UTC to Aug 21, 2017 at 6:59 AM UTC

Grand Hero Legion: Masked Maniac, is waiting again in Special Maps!

Perhaps you couldn't meet him before. Maybe you weren't yet strong enough to defeat him in battle at the time. Now is your chance to make these Grand Heroes in your ally!

There are also limited-time special quests available too. Even if you won this Grand Hero Battle before, you can obtain additional Grand Heroes by completing these quests!

What Are Grand Hero Battles?
These are special extremely challenging Hero Battles. By clearing the map, you will gain the enemy Hero as your ally. As with other Hero Battles, if any of your allies fall in battle, it's game over, so proceed with caution. Grand Hero Battles also have a special rule: you cannot use a Light's BlessingLight's Blessing.png or an OrbOrb.png to continue a battle if you lose, so make your moves on the field very carefully!

Look for golden banners to attempt Grand Hero Battles.

Clear on on Hard to get a 3Icon Rarity 3.png Legion. Clear one on Lunatic to get a 4Icon Rarity 4.png Legion.

Just make sure you're fully prepared before you take on these battles!

Tempest Trials: Reunited at Last[edit | edit source]

Active: Aug 11, 2017 at 7:00 AM UTC to Aug 25, 2017 at 6:59 AM UTC

A new set of Tempest Trials, entitled Reunited at Last, will begin soon!

This special event contains a series of maps you must fight your way through from beginning to end. Gather your strongest allies and battle your way to the final map!

During the event, there are also Tempest Trials-related daily quests to try out. As these quests refresh daily, make sure you remember to grab your rewards!

What's even more exciting? Starting halfway through the event at August 18, 2018 at 7:00 AM UTC, the rewards for the daily quests will be doubled!

Changes from the Previous Event:

  • The first and second times you challenge the Trials each day, you can triple your score.
  • On Normal difficulty, stages with low-level enemies have been added.
  • Bonus allis will get HP+10 and Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4.
  • Bonus allies will get Double SP and EXP.
  • A Continuous Auto setting has been added.

What Are Tempest Trials?
This is a special event where you challenge a series of high-difficulty maps. Clear them repeatedly and you can increase your score. You can get special rewards based on your total score during the event period.

Play by going to Battle -> Tempest Trials.

Tempest Trials: The Rules

Choose Your Difficulty Level

In Tempest Trials, there are several difficulties to select from. Each difficulty not only changes the strength of enemies but offers a different number of maps and a different number of ally teams you can deploy. Select the difficulty level that best suits your allies.

Clear Maps, Earn Points

If you can clear the final map, you will receive a score based on your overall completion.

The score will increase for the number of maps cleared, your speed, and ally survival.

Even if all of your teams are defeated, you can earn a smaller score based on the number of maps cleared up to that point.

The first two times you fight each day, you have a chance to triple your score!

Get Rewards!

Continue to clear maps and your score will increase! You can receive rewards based on your cumulative score.

You can also receive a ranking based on your cumulative score! Even more rewards will be given out based on score, so aim for the highest ranks.

Defeated Allies Can't Be Be Revived

If all of the allies on your team are defeated, you can immediately make a new team of allies and try the map again. However, be aware that the allies that were defeated will not be able to be used again until either the last map is cleared or all your teams have been defeated and you try again.

Try your best to come up with strategies that will allow you to advance without sacrificing your allies. Be aware that your allies will continue to the next map in the set with the same HP and cooldown as when they finished the previous map. You may need to switch up the tactics you've been using up till now!

It's a Battle of Attrition!

If you attmpet a map again with a different team, the enemies defeated by your previous team will not reappear.

Any surviving enemies will carry over HP they had before, and their Special cooldown will reset. This make it a little bit easier to defeat them.

Even if you don't have the advantage, try to whittle the enemy down as much s possible and make things easier for the next team!

Bonus Allies

You'll earn a score bonus if your bonus ally goes into battle at least once. If several bonus allies are used, be aware that only one bonus, the strongest, will apply to your score.

Also, the bonus allies you use will receive a boost to their HP and stats, making them even better! Their earned experience and SP will also double, so it's a great chance to build them up.

What's in Store for the 1.6.0 Update[edit | edit source]

Thank you for playing Fire Emblem Heroes!

Here's an update from the Fire Emblem Heroes development team about the new additions for ver. 1.6.0:

Update to Summoning Events
Starting with the Summoning Focus: Cecilia and Lilina's Battle event beginning August 7, 2017 at 7:00 AM UTC, all summoning events will allow players to perform their first summon without having to use any OrbsOrb.png.

Make sure to check out all the new summoning events as they arrive. You might meet a surprising new Hero!

Starting at the same time, the initial appearance rates for 3Icon Rarity 3.png and 4Icon Rarity 4.png Heroes will be swapped. The initial rates will be 58% for a 4Icon Rarity 4.png and 35% for a 3Icon Rarity 3.png.

Since 4Icon Rarity 4.png Heroes are becoming easier to get, you can strengthen your army with Inherit Skill and Unlock Potential!

Catalog of Heroes
A new function called Catalog of Heroes will be added. You can view the dialogue played when Heroes are summoned, their 5Icon Rarity 5.png/Level 40 conversation, and more, whenever you want.

Arena Assault
For only the boldest of Heroes, here comes Arena Assault!

This new Arena mode has a new rule: It will not end until either all of your Heroes are annihilated or you win seven battles in a row.

Also, once you deploy a Hero, you cannot use them again until you've made it to the end of the Arena...or a game over screen.

Fortunately, there are special items to support you as you battle.

Just like in normal Arena Battles, seasons are one week long. There are no Bonus Allies, which means everyone can bring out their strongest teams. And Arena Assault doesn't cost stamina, so you can keep on playing as much as you'd like.

If you are looking for more info, a more detailed post is coming soon!

Update to Tempest Trials
To make Tempest Trials easier to play, balance adjustments will be made and new functions will be added. These changes will take place on August 11, 2017 at 7:00 AM UTC-starting with the next event, Tempest Trials: Reunited at Last.

  1. Each day, you can triple your score the first two times you play Tempest Trials.
  2. Bonus Allies will not only raise your score-their abilities will be boosted, too. When you use Bonus Allies in Tempest Trials, they will receive HP+10, Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4, and double EXP and SP.
  3. Continuous Auto: Turn this on (in Settings) and your team will battle automatically until they win...or everyone on your team is defeated.

Also, in the team organization screens of Tempest Trials, Chain Challenge, Squad Assault and Arena Assault, a function for creating, managing and using reserve teams will be added.

Various other improvements

  • The upper limit of Hero Merit will change from 2000 to 3000.
  • A daily Log-In Bonus card will be added.
  • Players can now change enemy team units in the Training Tower before entering battle.
  • The strength of the enemies in the Training Tower will be adjusted.
  • EXP and SP received in the Arena and the Training Tower will be the same.
  • The order of items in the Settings screen has been adjusted.
  • When cycling between teams of Heroes, the Teams with no member will be skipped.
  • The artwork for Gaius: Thief Exposed has been altered.

That is everything we're adding for ver 1.6.0.

We hope you continue to enjoy Fire Emblem Heroes!
