•  Garon: King of Nohr is the first playable  Red Breath user that is not a variation of Tiki.
• Garon's Dragon form, the Blight Dragon, appears exclusively in the Birthright route of Fates as the final boss.
• Unlike the other Heroes who use a Dragonstone to transform into a dragon, Garon is the first Hero able to transform into a dragon without one. Also, unlike them, he has no dragon ancestry and is a full-blooded human. He transforms into a dragon using magic.
