Heroes' Saga[edit | edit source]

Act Heroes' Saga Image
English Japanese
Prologue Long ago, the god of strength and the
goddess of love formed their own
respective empire and kingdom. That
empire one day turned against the
kingdom, engineering a coup, slaying
the rival king. The Deliverance, then,
seeking to retake the kingdom's fallen
castle, called for aid from the hero
Mycen. But when Mycen rejected
their pleas, his grandson Alm chose
to join the Deliverance in his place...

1st Act As the newly appointed leader of the
Deliverance, Alm wasted no time in
mounting a counterattack. Pressing
the advance, the Deliverance moved
to retake Zofia Castle. Once it was
reclaimed, Alm announced he would
take the fight to the empire, putting
a stop to their conquest. Meanwhile,
his childhood friend Celica set off in
search of a more peaceful solution
to the conflict...

2nd Act Alm and the Deliverance pursued the
defeated and retreating chancellor
Desaix as he fled from the retaken
castle. In his pursuit, Alm was forced
to confront Emperor Rudolf's
nephew, Berkut, who had been
stationed within Zofian territory.

3rd Act Alm and the Deliverance drove on,
crushing Berkut and his forces, who
waited at the empire's border. From
there, they proceeded to invade the
empire's territory. A witch who had
allied herself with Berkut then used
an illusion to lure the Deliverance to
Fear Mountain, but Alm defeated her
and freed her captives. One of the
captives then asked Alm to help her
lover, Ezekiel, an imperial general...

4th Act General Zeke, who had been forced
to fight after his lover, Tatiana, was
taken hostage, expressed his thanks
by joining the Deliverance in their
revolt against the empire. Upon sight
of the mark Alm bore on his hand,
Zeke revealed an order Rudolf gave
him: follow any man he met who

Final Act The Deliverance finally reached the
imperial castle and took it by storm,
defeating Rudolf in the process.
Recognizing Alm as his son, Rudolf
entrusted him with putting an end
to the mad god Duma. Reappearing,
Mycen reassured a confused Alm,
and confirmed that he was indeed
the true son of the emperor—and the
hero who had been prophesied.
