|This build focuses on optimizing Tiki's performance on both player phase and enemy phase, achieving a respectable speed tier of 37 with the Speed+1 sacred seal in order to maximize her survivability by preventing her being doubled as often as possible-- combine this with the boosts she gets at full health with the Melon Smasher, and you have a very respectable speed of 39 and defense of 37, making her extremely difficult to kill with physical units. +Speed Ryoma cannot one-round this iteration of Tiki while she's at full health without running either Fury 3 and the Speed+1 seal or Life and Death, and otherwise only +Speed Fury versions of Athena and Lon'qu can outspeed and KO her at full health thanks to her melon boosts. Her vulnerability to magic and Moonbow/Luna is substantially higher due to her low Res and HP, but her combination of high speed, attack, and defense make her very difficult to approach and kill while at full health, much like a 1-range version of Celica. The capability of functioning equally well on both offense and defense is something few non-Triangle Adept axe-users can boast (and she has the added advantage of being able to take on units of colors other than blue), and is probably this Tiki's most distinguished niche. With the addition of the Support system, Tiki is capable of reaching higher speeds than ever, hitting 41 at full health with an S-rank to the summoner, and 43 when adjacent to an S-rank supported unit!
There is some degree of versatility to this build; while Fury and Axebreaker are staples, her assist and special are flexible, as both Bonfire and Draconic Aura (as well as their stronger counterparts) hit the same damage threshold, making all of them perfectly serviceable options. Swap and Reposition are useful positioning, though Reciprocal Aid used 'selfishly' to steal HP from allies and maintain her full-HP effects is also an interesting option. For her passive C-skill, Threaten Speed is recommended for its dual offensive and defensive applications, though Threaten Def or a Hone/Fortify buff can be swapped in as easily depending on team composition. Lastly her default weapon is probably the best for this set, but for non-Fury variations (IE Close Defense + Quick Riposte), Legion's Axe and Silver Axe offer similar performance without the recoil-- though lacking the Melon Smasher boosts makes it easier for her to be doubled and killed.
In order to get the most out of this build in chain modes like Tempest Trial or Chain Challenges, healer support is highly, highly recommended, as Tiki is substantially more vulnerable when not at full health to take advantage of her bodacious melons. As low as her HP his, Reciprocal Aid support from allies can easily take her back to full health after tanking a round of abuse and recoil, and in the event that she takes no damage from combat, a round of Breath of Life support (supplemented by the same seal) can bring her back to full after suffering the 8 points of recoil damage as well. For lengthier maps, it may be more advisable to carry a staff-user wielding Recover or Rehabilitate in order to keep her at full health (or at least in range of Axebreaker if it's needed).Banryu187 (talk) 19:17, 9 July 2017 (UTC)
