Description | Grants Spd+3. If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, deals damage = 70% of difference between stats. (Maximum bonus of +7 damage. Combos with Phantom Spd.) At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, unit can move 1 extra space. (That turn only. Does not stack.) If unit transforms, grants Atk+2. |
Notes[ | ]
- The maximum Spd difference that matters for Raven King Beak's damage boosting effect is 10, due to Raven King Beak's cap of 7 added damage.
- The minimum Spd difference that matters for Raven King Beak's damage boosting effect is 2, which provides 1 added damage.
- With Phantom Spd 3, Raven King Beak will deal extra damage if the user would otherwise have equal or less Spd than the target.
- This effect stops when the user is regularly 9 Spd slower than the target, as a 1-Spd advantage rounds down to 0 damage.
- The damage boosting effect of Raven King Beak is applied after other effects, and is thus not boosted by specials such as Glimmer or Astra.
- The damage boosting effect of Raven King Beak ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- When equipped with skills such as Beast Agility 4 and Beast N Trace 3, a Beast unit will transform out of combat on turn 1 regardless of whether the transformation conditions of the user's weapon are met.
- Skills such as Beast Agility 4 and Beast N Trace 3 will also keep the unit from reverting from their Beast form.
- Raven King Beak applies the Mobility increased status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Mobility increased is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- Gravity and Stall will negate the effects of Mobility increased.
- The Atk+2 granted by Raven King Beak when the user transforms is a stat boost, not a bonus.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the Mobility increased and stat boosting effects.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
Upgrades[ | ]
Can be upgraded in the Weapon Refinery. For a list of other such weapons, see list of upgradable weapons.
Notes[ | ]
- "If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
- However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
- The stat increase that can be applied by refined Raven King Beak is considered a temporary buff.
- The damage boosting effect of refined Raven King Beak ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the effect(s).
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
- The "unit's Spd minus foe's Spd" condition is treated as a comparison between the unit's and foe's Spd stats.
- 【Phantom】 effects such as Phantom Spd 3 can change which effects are granted by this condition.
- Only attacks performed by the user have the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect. This is true regardless of who initiated combat.
- The "Special cooldown charge +X" effect will stack with the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect.
- For example, if a unit is affected by both Guard and Special Cooldown Charge +1, the effects will stack and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
- The effects will only stack when the user attacks and the cooldown will go down without penalty or bonus.
- The "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will only take place when the foe attacks.
- If used alongside another source of "Special cooldown charge +X", only the higher of the two charge increases will apply.
- This means that if a unit has two "Special cooldown charge +1" effects from two different sources, the battle will play out as if only one "Special cooldown charge +1" effect is active.
- Skills such as Spd/Def Tempo 4 and Spendy Scimitar will neutralize effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to the foe.
- Effects that are neutralized by Raven King Beak:
- Effects active on the unit that prevent their follow-up attacks, such as Windsweep 3, Watersweep 3, or Weaving Fighter.
- Effects active on the foe that prevent the unit's follow-up attacks such as Steady Impact, Vengeful Fighter 4, or Foe Cannot Follow-Up.
