Description | Effective against armored and cavalry foes. Grants Atk+3. If unit’s Atk > foe’s Atk and/or 1 extra space of movement granted by another skill is active on unit, unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack. |
Notes[ | ]
- When battling an Armored unit, Attack is multiplied by 1.5.
- Dragonhide, Svalinn Shield, Dew Dragonstone, Maltet, and the Neutralize Effective Against Armored status effect will neutralize the attack increase against Armored units.
- When battling a Cavalry unit, Attack is multiplied by 1.5.
- Grani's Shield will neutralize the attack increase against Cavalry units.
- The guaranteed follow-up effect of Reginleif will activate if the unit wielding it receives Mobility increased.
- The guaranteed follow-up effect will not be negated if the unit receives Gravity or Stall.
- The guaranteed follow-up effect will be neutralized if the unit does not receive Mobility increased or has Mobility increased removed by a source of positive status effect neutralization.
- As a general rule, if a unit is both prevented from making, and guaranteed to make a follow-up attack, the effects cancel out, and the Spd difference decides instead (including effects that alter this difference).
- A foe with effects such as Phys. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize the guaranteed follow-up attack granted by Reginleif.
Upgrades[ | ]
Can be upgraded in the Weapon Refinery. For a list of other such weapons, see list of upgradable weapons.
Notes[ | ]
- Reginleif only neutralizes the mobility reduction of terrain that slows units; forests, trenches, and spaces affected by 【Divine Vein (Flame)】.
- Forests only slow Infantry units. Cavalry units cannot occupy or pass through forests.
- Trenches only slow Cavalry units. Infantry units are not slowed by trenches.
- Spaces affected by 【Divine Vein (Flame)】 can slow ranged units of all move types.
- A stat comparison made "At start of combat" ignores temporary buffs and temporary debuffs.
- Temporary buffs and temporary debuffs from skills such as Death Blow and Rauðrfox+ will not affect the outcome.
- Only stat boosts outside of combat, such as bonuses and penalties, will affect the outcome.
- The effect of Reginleif will activate if the user receives a 【Bonus】.
- The effect will not be negated if the unit receives a 【Penalty】.
- If the unit does not receive a 【Bonus】, or has their 【Bonus】 removed by a source of positive status effect neutralization, the effect will be negated.
- For more information, see List of keywords.
- The stat increase that can be applied by Reginleif is considered a temporary buff.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will not trigger after an extra action granted by Sing/Dance users or Duo/ Harmonized skills if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If the unit uses a ranged weapon type and is inflicted with Canto Control, 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will trigger, but the unit's action will end without being able to move.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 to 1 space if the affected unit uses a close weapon type.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as Pass 3, Obstruct 3, Traverse Terrain, 【Divine Vein (Flame)】, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (Rem. +1)】.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Mobility increased, Stall, and Gravity.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will have the remaining value be reduced to 1 if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity and did not move.
- The remaining value for 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will not be affected if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity after combat.
- Reginleif has the same effect as Even Tempest 3.
- Reginleif applies the Mobility increased status effect.
- Any 【Bonus】 on a unit lasts until the start of that unit's next phase. If Mobility increased is acquired during the enemy phase, it will disappear when the next player phase begins.
- Gravity and Stall will negate the effects of Mobility increased.
- Reginleif can prevent the foe from making a standard follow-up attack.
- As a general rule, if a unit is both prevented from making, and guaranteed to make a standard follow-up attack, the effects cancel out, and the Spd difference is used (including effects that alter this difference).
- Reginleif will not prevent a unit with a "unit attacks twice" effect from performing the 2 consecutive attacks, but the the unit will not be able to perform a standard follow-up attack.
- Reginleif will not prevent the additional follow-up attack of 【Potent Follow X%】.
- A foe with effects such as Mag. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize the follow-up preventing effect of Reginleif.
