This build has the soul purpose of doubling almost every unit in the game, including Ayra. Keep in mind some people have merged units effecting the outcome of this build, as well as inflated stats in TT, Squad Assault, and Chain Challenge.

The Amplified Blade build is made of the following and it’s like it’s default skill set but better. The +Spd/-Atk iv can put an end to most people except heavily armored knights, which the minimum damage will be 5.

Weapon of Choice: Icon Class Red Sword.png Resolute Blade. The reason I chose this was because of the built in Attack plus and the extra 10 damage this makes her specials do extra damage and mostly making out of life and death situations.

Assist: Reposition. A basic movement supplement that can grant a equal support skill if you want to move a even stronger ally away from powerful opponents.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Luna. The default skill set can lead to repeated use of it if needed. Alternatively you can use Icon Skill Special.png Aether for the healing capability if you want to play safe.

Passive 1: Flashing Blade 4. An amplified version of Flashing Blade 3, doing extra damage if you’re faster than the opponent which is mostly the case.

Passive 2: Wrath 3. If you want extra damage from your specials use wrath and with other special boosted by Resolute Blade the total bonus damage will be 20 therefore it is a great asset to special damage. Alternatively you can use Vantage 3 to make her attack first so you can get a special attack in.

Passive 3: Even Spd Wave 3 or Odd Spd Wave 3. They grant Mia a great boost of speed and you can make her attack at either the even or odd turns.

Seal: Speed Plus 3.png Speed +3. Extra speed adds the possibility of countering faster character such as Mareeta The Blades Pawn Face FC.webp Mareeta: The Blade's Pawn Karla Sword Vassal Face FC.webp Karla: Sword Vassal or Byleth Proven Professor Face FC.webp Byleth: Proven Professor by overwhelming them in speed.

Overall: This build is speed based not power based using skills to overwhelm and relentless special attacking to take down enemies.

Obviously, the main Goal with this Build is to make use of Mia's Speed and her special A-Skill Flashing Blade 3 to make her one of the very few characters who can use Galeforce effectivly in Battle. In order for this set to run perfectly, i highly recommend to use her alongside Dorcas with his Infantery Pulse.

The idea is very simple, yet effective: Mia will start every battle with Galeforce on 3 cooldown (2 if you use the Killing Edge+), so it will trigger on her very first turn if she A: Doubles her opponent B: Get hit by a counterattack C: If you run Killing Edge+, Galeforce will always trigger as long as you have 1 Spd more then the opponent.

Here is the more in-depth description:

Her best IV is obviously +Spd in order to trigger Galeforce more reliably, an Atk+ is also good of course. For her bone, i would recommend -Res as she should do her best to survive at least one counterattack (expecially in Arena Defense)

For her weapon i recommend Resolute Blade, because usually you will trigger Galeforce on your first move even when you start with cooldown 3. Although it does NOT trigger its in-built Wrath effect, it still provides the most power because of its boost of +3 Atk on top of its 16 might and Mia's extremely high Attack. If you dont happen to have a Dorcas although to reduce her cooldown on turn 1, maybe Killing Edge+ is the prefered choice. With its might of 11, it should be enough to kill most enemys in the 2 turns you can attack.

Reposition because why not

Obviously we take Galeforce as her special, because thats all this set is about. If you might need just brute might in some situations however, you can think about using Astra instead, as in combination with her Resolute Blade it completely demolishes almost the whole cast with one single blow.

Flashing Blade 3 is essential in this build as it allows to charge Mia's special in one turn if you are faster than your opponent (which is all this set is about, triggering Galeforce as soon/often as possible).

I recommend Desperation 3 for her B-Special, because if you manage to get in the HP-treshold for Desperation, Mia just turns even deadlier, often OHKO her opponents without being threatened by a Counterattack. Here you could play around a little bit tho, as Swordbreaker 3 or even Lancebreaker 3 MIGHT be an alternative, improving her survivability in some cases.

Now, the C-skill is rather interesting. You can go for usual team boost skills like Hone Atk or Hone Spd, but in my opinion, expecially if you want to use her in an Arena-Defense team where the only goal is to eliminate only 1 opponent, Savage Blow 3 is a very interesting choice as it damages opponents other than the initial target (which could come in handy if she then tries to kill another opponent than the first one). Another idea is to play Attack Smoke 3 to lower the opponents offensive options after her combat, although in my opinion it is not worth to sacrifice a Brave Lyn for this.

And last, but defenetly not least as it is crucial for this build we have Quickened Pulse as her Sacred Seal Special. (I don't think i have to explain this one)

The last thing i want to talk about are Mia's "optimal" teammates, or at least some very good options for her. I use of course Dorcas, as he reduces her Special Cooldown by 1 on the first turn. Again, if you are not lucky enough to have a Dorcas, you should use the Killing Edge+ instead of her Resolute Blade. Second is basically any Dancer, although i prefere Performing Arts Azura (with Wings of Mercy 3 ) as she provides her allies with buffs while she dances. As her third ally, i came up with Trick-or-Treat Nowi with a very simple idea: i wanted to have the highest and most unpredictable movement options possible. For this, my build is a Warpgate Nowi with Grimoire to warp to allies 2 spaces away when above 50% HP, Wings of Mercy 3 to help out allies in trouble and Guidiance 3 to let the other members of the team get nearby her and maybe secure a kill (which again is the only real goal for an arena defence team)

I hope my explanations were clear and understandable :)

With this build and a +Atk IV, she gets a massive 59 atk, making it very easy to get the heavy blade bonus, this build focuses on getting into the desperation range and using it combined with her special to eliminate almost any unit. Moonbow and Glimmer yield very similar results, I recommend using Moonbow if you go with threaten speed and Glimmer if you go with threaten def or want to use her in modes where enemy HP is inflated. A +spd IV can be used and she'll have 48 speed, making doubling units very easy, especially given speed buffs.

The reason I recommend -HP is so that it's easier to get into desperation, she'll have 34 HP and only needs to take 9 damage to hit the desperation range, with summoner support this goes to 39, which means she'll have to take at least 10 damage, which, considering her defenses are in the low 20s, isn't very hard. As with any build, it has weaknesses: Mia's low HP and low defenses due to L&D3 can make it hard for her to survive a hit to get into the desperation range; Anything that prevents her from doubling completely (+Deflect Melee 3 but no one uses that) ruins Mia, unless she has her special ready in which case she may be able to just get the KO; Vantage is also a problem for Mia, though usually she'll be taking an enemy from full HP and Mia can't support her allies in any way (unless they have Ally support). These weaknesses can be circumvented by running support units and counters with her. This build gets even stronger with merges and especially summoner support, my Mia is +Spd, +1 merged and has summoner support, resulting in 58 atk and 51 spd without any other modifiers. If mine were +Atk, she'd have 61 atk and 48 spd, which is still massive, but I enjoy seeing a spd stat over 50.

I hope this graceful whirlwind of singing steel proves very useful for you as she has for me!
