Royalty Convenes are three short videos featuring the winner of the Choose Your Legends 3 event. They are holding conversations around a campfire, like during the first cutscene of Forging Bonds events.

A View from the Throne[ | ]

  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: Another exhilirating fight!
  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: Princess Camilla... No, my apologies. Camilla, Queen of Nohr... You certainly seem to be enjoying yourself in Askr!
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: Indeed. I am never bored. It's much better than being trapped on my throne.
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: Ruling bores you?
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: It is a tedious business, don't you find? Granting audiances, conferring decorations... politicking. Day in, Day out, all I look forward to is my bath before bed.
  • Micaiah: Queen of Dawn: I understand what you mean, at least a little. Since ascending the throne of Daein, half my time is spent siyting there. Sometimes, I look back on my fortune-telling days with Sothe rather fondly...
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: I suppose that the responsibilities of rule demand that we cast aside our previous roles.
  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: Fighting on the front lines isn't what makes a hero, mind you. In times of peace, the powerful lend their strength to the people in the form of support.
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: Valentia was torn apart by war. I must rebuild it that everyone may live in peace.
  • Micaiah: Queen of Dawn: I made a promise to my sister — that Daein would rebuild, and together with Begnion, step into the future.

Walking with the People[ | ]

  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: Understand this, though: Peace cannot be made by politicians. We must unite with our people. That about all else, in fact.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: Unite with our people? ... I think what you're saying is that we must do our best to understand them.
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: I have an advantage there. I grew up in Ram Village, far from the seat of power.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: What? Were you not the heir of the Rigellian empire?
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: I wa, but I didn't know a thing about it until long after I'd joined the Deliverance and fought many battles. Those days in the village will always mean much to me. Thanks to my upbringing, I understand the lives of the common people—their hopes, their struggles.
  • Micaiah: Queen of Dawn: In the back alleys of Nevassa, I learned many of the life's hardest lessons first-hand. After we left, we lived on the run, sleeping rough. Day-to-day survival was itself a struggle.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: You poor thing. But look at all that's changed for you. From the back alleys to the head of the parade!
  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: I myself was brought up in the family of the Marquess Pherae, but I always felt close to the people. When we fought Nergal, everyone came together —common folk, soldiers, travelers... All that I learned by their sides has nourished my spirit.
  • Micaiah: Queen of Dawn: So out of the four of us, perhaps only Queen Camilla has spent her life in a palace?
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: Well, yes. It is true that I was born and raised in a castle, but my childhood was far from carefree. My mother suffered many hardships due to her position. I have been a pawn in power struggles for as long as I can remember. I was even targeted by an assassin!
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: It seems, living in a palace offers no promise of an easy life.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: I've come to know the people, too. I've worked in a weapon shop, an armory, and even a lottery!
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: I have a difficult time imagining you behind a counter, selling weapons!
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: Well, it wasn't just me all by myself. My family helped.
  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: Each of us may possess the bearing of a Hero, but we all have our own connection to the people.

To a Brighter Future[ | ]

  • Micaiah: Queen of Dawn: Askr is much the same. It seems a good place, doesn't it?
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: I agree. I sense that the people have faith in the royal family, and enjoy many peaceful days.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: The mark of good governance, perhaps.
  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: I'd say so.
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: We can credit much of this goodwill to Prince Alfonse and Princess Sharena, I wager.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: They are a compassionate pair, and without airs.
  • Micaiah: Queen of Dawn: They help Commander Anna raise money in the summer, and they always lend a hand at the harvest festival. They're quite charming, aren't they?
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: They aim to understand their citizens. Just like us, eh?
  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: Yes, though they are still young. We must keep an eye on them as they grow into their roles.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: And Askr is always under the threat of invasion. We must all remain vigilant, lest this land be consumed by the flames of war.
  • Micaiah: Queen of Dawn: Until Prince Alfonse is ready to become king, we must lend him our support. We will protect this land.
  • Eliwood: Marquess Pherae: I believe the boy will see his kingdom's future is a bright one.
  • Alm: Imperial Ascent: We will discharge our duty—as chosen Heroes.
  • Camilla: Light of Nohr: Until war is no longer known in this land.
