Wrath is a great skill, but the reduced cooldown does nothing for Owain; if the enemy attacks, Missiletainn automatically takes down 2 charges instead of 1, and Blue Flame only needs 2 CD to charge (Unless you're running something like Ignis, but why would you?). So, as long as you use him for enemy phase, all Wrath would add is the extra 10 damage. Now, that's always a huge benefit, but if we're not taking advantage of the extra cooldown, we could get the same results from just pumping up his Atk, and not relying on low HP lets him partner with healers or take on chain challenges with ease. So... let's redo Owain!

We'll be keeping Missiletainn and Blue Flame, of course. His A Passive, however, may change depending on what you want to do. Atk/Def Bond 3 ensure he gets that extra damage we talked about, while Spd/Def Bond 3 (Available from Ethlyn, a free Tempest Trials unit) will ensure he either always gets his second attack or can avoid some scarier doubles, like from speedsters such as Karla. It comes down to preference (And probably his IV; base 40 at +Spd will probably make Spd/Def Bond redundant). The goal, right now, is to get Owain to take a hit on enemy phase to instantly charge Blue Flame, then kill on his counter. Whether you need the second attack or the 5 extra damage is situational. I use Atk/Def Bond 3 myself, since my Owain is +Spd.

Owain's B Slot is variable. The most consistent option for this setup, though, is Swap in conjunction with Atk/Def Link 3. With that and either Bond discussed, Owain will have effective 42 Def. This can be boosted further with things like Drive Def 3, Close Guard 3, Summoner or Ally Supports, so on. If you were really crazy and got his Def above 50 like this, you'd actually outdamage Blue Flame with Bonfire, but that requires specific and unwieldy setups (And the animation isn't as cool! Come on, he's the hero!). The point is, Owain's taking hits like a champ, isn't reliant on Quick Riposte 3, and can have respectable Atk on top of Blue Flame. He has other options for this, like Chill Atk 3 if he wants to avoid damage and help the team, Atk/Spd Link 3 if he doesn't need the extra Def, Desperation 3 if you want to run mixed phase, or even his native Wrath, but Atk/Def Link is what I'd recommend myself. I would not recommend Vantage 3, however, as use of that skill interrupts the point of this set: instant Blue Flame.

Owain's C slot is pretty flexible and can usually go towards helping those other units he should always be adjacent to. Owain particularly appreciates having a Wave skill, as he can pass that onto his allies. Even Spd Wave 3 (Or Odd, up to you) works best with Atk/Def Link, but the decision is up to you in the end.

Owain's best option for a seal with this set is definitely Close Defense 3, as that in combination with his other buffs make him an extremely fast and durable threat. However, use of the seal always has heavy competition, so something like Spd/Def 2 is a great budget option.

This build transforms our favourite tactician into a thunder God. Albeit in a very fresh smelling way.

Weapon is Fresh Bouquet+, with Odd Atk Wave Robin grants himself +4 Speed and +6 Attack to him and his allies on the appropriate turns. With speed refine he gets +6 speed overall, mimicking Ishtar's tomes effect.

Special is bonfire. Capitalizing off his good defense he can fire off decently damaging specials, plus he comes with it. Another, more expensive option is Aether, while it charges much more slowly, it allows Robin to heal himself, and he's just bulky enough that it can come in handy on occasion.

His A skill is Swift Sparrow. Granting an additional +4/+4 to his attack and speed allows Robin to actually start putting out some damage when combined with Odd Atk Wave and Fresh Bouquet+. Another, cheaper option is Fury, granting him a slightly smaller boost to his attack and speed but hurting his bulk quite a bit, it does however allow Bonfire to hurt just a bit more.

His B skill is Desperation because all good speedsters need Desperation, alternatively if you haven't pulled desperation fodder ever you could give him Renewal to add to his bulk somewhat.

His C skill is Odd Atk Wave, which boosts his meager attack stat to acceptable levels, as well as allows his hard hitting allies to hit even harder. Pairs very well with Fresh Bouquet+.

His seal is there to boost his Attack or Speed, whichever is preferred. If and when Atk/Spd 2 is released as a seal that would be the ideal choice, or whatever comes along that boost both stats.

Now obviously this build could be run on any other blue tome and probably to greater effect but Robin is my boi, he deserves this. Don't do him dirty by giving it to somebody else. :(

Windsweep is the star of the show here, it perfectly compliments Tana's default kit. She can contribute damage safely and help advance infantry while getting the most value out of her special weapon's bonus defense.

This build is for players looking to use Tana right out of the gate, geared to work on either phase, and it favours a mixed team setup.

Weapon: Atk Spd Bond Infantry Armor W.png Vidofnir is Tana's weapon of choice. It grants her a defensive buff when attacked at melee range, and when refined, it grants her some Res against dragons as well. When given its special skill, Tana gains +4 Atk and Spd in combat if there are any armoured or infantry allies near her, which can help her go on the offensive on the player phase, giving her a pretty decent melee performance on either phase. This special effect pairs well with Guidance, as only armoured and infantry allies can take advantage of the skill anyway.

Assist: Icon Skill Assist.png Reposition is a good Assist in general to use. Its uses are versatile, as it can either help bring an ally closer to the fray, or bring an ally out of danger. Fliers put it to especially good use thanks to their freedom of movement.

Special: Icon Skill Special.png Moonbow is chosen for its defense piercing effect, which can help Tana to break through a tougher foe.

A Passive: Spd Def 2.png Spd/Def 2 is a decent budget option for Tana's A skill, granting a simple +2 Def and Spd, but it works on both phases. This slot is really flexible however, open to be whatever the player needs. Some options include Fury 3.png Fury 3, which boosts Tana's overall stats, but the recoil might be unappealing in more drawn out maps. Darting Blow 3.png Darting Blow 3 grants Tana +6 Spd when initiating combat, giving her a better player phase performance, and then her Vidofnir's main effect and her Seal can give her a better enemy phase performance. Brazen Atk Def 3.png Brazen Atk/Def 3 grants Tana +7 Atk and Def when she's sufficiently injured, which can help her both offensively and defensively.

B Passive: Hit and Run.png Hit and Run is a great option for Tana's B skill. It allows Tana to retreat one space after attacking, letting her return back into formation with her allies. This skill is effective on fliers due to the fact that they don't really have to worry about any terrain getting in their way.

C Passive: Guidance 3.png Guidance 3 is a great option for Tana's C skill, pairing perfectly with Vidofnir's special effect, allowing infantry and armoured allies to move closer to Tana and grant her the offensive stat buff she needs, or she can help ferry them across the map. Should this be unnecessary however, then this skill slot is flexible, open to be whatever else the player needs.

Sacred Seal: Close Def 3.png Close Def 3 is Tana's Seal, which grants +6 Def and Res when attacked at melee range, which will stack with her Vidofnir's effect to a total of +13 Def and Res when attacked at close range.
