Folt99 (talk) 19:51, 7 April 2019 (UTC) Robin's refine makes him extremely adept at supporting mixed movement type teams, particularly if paired up with a -blade tome user or Laevatein, while providing a wall against colorless and red units at the same time. These qualities, further refined through merging and some expensive skills provide the basis for this spare-no-expense team-oriented build that turns Robin into a dangerous check against red and colorless units, while at the same time providing an excellent amount of support to chosen teammates as long as they benefit from his refine. Aside from the B skills, and to a lesser extent the special and A skill, the rest of this build is flexible enough that you can pick skills based on your preferred skills for him or the situation at hand.

When you additionally make a merge project out of him, whatever bane he picks will get canceled out, thus making boons more important as a choice than the bane and somewhat fixing his susceptibility against magic (if that bane was Res). If you're Summoner-Supporting him then +Spd is preferred as Robin can, with some bonuses, reach good levels of speed to prevent double attacks, or potentially doubling back, in addition to boosting his survival and attack power further. If not, +Atk provides a boost to his attack for harder hits against the red and colorless units he'll be dealing with.

Tactical Bolt refined to use the unique skill is the weapon of choice for this build; the weapon itself is already a better Raventome in every way to let Robin bait and punish red and colorless enemies, and the refine as mentioned functions as a Spectrum Tactics, increasing the Atk/Spd/Def/Res stats of supporting units by 4 each so long as you only have a maximum of 2 units of that movement type (Robin himself counts as 1 Infantry), which coupled with in-combat bonuses can drastically increase the potential of -Blade units, though the boost doesn't help just them; speedy attackers and supertough tanks can also reap good benefits from Tactical Bolt, increasing their chances of doubling to kill and withstanding all manners of attacks respectively. Bonfire is the standard special pick, turning Robin's high defence into additional attack power to really dent enemies, but can be swapped out if possible (like with Aether for arena-scoring purposes if you're going that far; odds are that you don't want Robin to outright kill the enemy when in higher tiers of Arena so that your bonus unit can get the kill, and Aether's high countdown along with being a high-scoring skill makes it fantastic for this purpose).

The Assist skill is completely up to you. Reposition is as always a good Assist for multiple purposes.

Close Counter allows Robin to attack and counter any red and colorless that comes his way. It is thus his prime skill of choice for the A Slot, though other skills like Steady Stance 4 (to slow down specials) can work as good, or even better depending on various circumstances and situations.

The B Slot skills are the only ones that leave no room for change, since they directly feed into his role as a red and colorless check. Both skills allows him to safely bait and/or engage multiple red and colorless units in battle, but Null C-Disrupt 3 checks -Sweep weapons/skills and Dazzling Staff and disables status ailments which can affect his tanking and damage capabilities, while Mystic Boost 3 makes it horribly difficult (or even downright impossible) for Staff users and Felicia to kill him and replenishes his HP by 6 every time he gets into combat which gives him a much higher bulk-per-battle than his stats show, which is excellent for the times where Robin must handle more than one unit on the enemy phase.

The C and Seal Slot skills are flexible depending on what you want. Robin can take C-Skills and Seals like Drives or Breath of Life to further support his teammates, or he can take Panic Ploy (especially if you're Summoner Supporting him and/or have Mystic Boost 3), Smoke skills, or Savage Blow to debilitate enemies as well. He could also take skills/seals like Darting/Fierce Stance, the Quick Riposte 3 seal, or Darting Blow to increase his capability as a red/colorless check or take Close/Distant Defense or Warding Stance for a further increase to his bulk.
