I like this page very much as a new user of FE Heroes (new user in the Fire Emblem series entirely; I have little Nintendo experience overall). As a suggestion though, can the links from the images in the chart point to the detailed ratings below, instead of to the character record? The detailed rating is more relevant to people using the tier list I think, and the detailed rating has a link to the character record that can be used.

(Different user here: For those who are editing this page, I was wondering if the switch to gamepedia has caused a minor formatting issue? The columns of all weapon types are normal EXCEPT for the Red Sword column; all columns at 100% regular zooming should fit two characters side-by-side in a cell, but the sword 'column' is forcing all the heroes to align in a single column, causing some unnecessary scrolling/stretching of the entire table. If this can't be fixed, then so be it, but having to shrink the table to a lower resolution (75% zoom) to fix this minor issue will suffice for now.

Heroes given inaccurate ratings[]
Pretty much every non-legendary version of Ike is a tier lower than it deserves. Robin: Fell Reincarnation and Fell Vessel seem to have their tier placing swapped. Vessel is just plain better. Inherit-only skills like the Brave Heroes' Blessings or Recover Ring are severely ignored. Both regular versions of Tiki, Elincia: Lost Princess, and basically half of the sword users are higher tier than they deserve. Characters with unique weapons like Bride Lyn's Candlestick tend to be given low tiers. Considering how good characters like Bride Lyn or ANY of the Brave characters are, this really needs to change and these characters need to get higher tier listings. The tier list seems to signify that sword users and (to a lesser extent) other red units are almost always good if not overpowered, blue units are pretty much always mediocre, green units are equally mediocre and colorless units suck. This is just not right- there are plenty of good ones like Robin-FV, Bride Lyn (who is TOO LOW ON THE LIST by the way), Halloween Jakob and Dancer Olivia, while there are also a lot of sucky sword users.

Maaan, screw that Draug rating. And that Barst rating. I've gotten great usage out of both of them. Screw that Cain rating too, his speed and attack aren't cripplingly low. Merging Name and Icon together[]

Summer Leo's rank[]

Why the change ?[]
I miss the old page. "limited access to Skill Inheritance" is nevertheless Skill Inheritance. I'm a F2P player who doesn't like to touch at his characters, even with seals. Now, my old very reliable source for leveling has became into an almost useless source. I'm rather disappointed

Detailed Ratings[]
Do any of the tier list staffs mind adding a "Detailed Ratings" section to this F2P tier list? I believe many users would like to know the reason for their placements in this tier list. I don't require the units to have every detail about their ratings that have already been mentioned in the arena tier list, but I would just like a brief description on why those units are in a lower tier than they are in the arena tier list, and/or the reason they remain the same tier. The detailed ratings for their placements help users know what 5-star exclusive skills some units require to reach their full potential, and helps users know if the unit is dependent on IVs.
- Not one of the tier list members, but I believe I can answer and provide some insight on their behalf. I've seen talks of notes being added for the F2P Tier List, but unfortunately those notes take a good chunk of time and is probably still a huge WIP. To give an estimate, it took the tier list team several weeks to complete the Arena Tier List Detailed notes (as for most of the tier list staff, this is just a volunteer side job after all and also the continuous changing of the meta every few weeks). I can bring it up with them again, but unfortunately I wouldn't get your hopes up about seeing them soon. :( Elaeagnifolia (talk) 01:50, 13 October 2017 (UTC)

Halloween Characters[]
Shouldn't the Trick-or-Defeat characters be on the list? It's been over a week and they're on the arena tier list.
F2P Tier List Update[]
Is the f2p tier list updated yet? I know the new characters had been rated, but the other characters did not seem to shift much in place. Inigo's still S tier in this tier list while he's S- in the arena tier list. Another question: Does the f2p tier list factor weapon refinery?
Colored bows...?[]

Where does the Halloween Dorcas need to sit in this tier list? We're already onto the next Tempest Trials, and he's in the Arena Tier List as an A+.
