Terrain
Terrain refers to the various types of special tiles found in certain maps. Official names for terrain types are bolded.
Regular Terrain[edit | edit source]
- Plains, which have no special effect and allow free movement.
- Forests, which reduce
infantry movement by one and prevent
cavalry movement.
- Mountains, cliffs, etc. prevent infantry, cavalry, and
armored movement.
- Water, ponds, lava, etc. prevent infantry, cavalry, and armored movement.
- Walls, boxes, etc. prevent infantry, armored, cavalry,
flying movement, and movement through assist skills.
Special Terrain[edit | edit source]
- Defensive terrain, which reduces damage taken by the 30% of the unit's Def or Res.
- Trenches, which limit cavalry movement to 1 space.
- Fortresses, which reduces damage taken during combat by the 30% of the unit's Def or Res, restores 10 HP at the start of the unit's turn and allows units occupying it to warp to sigils, fortresses or camps.
- Camps, which reduces damage taken during combat by the 30% of the unit's Def or Res, restores 10 HP at the start of the unit's turn and allows units occupying it to warp to sigils, fortresses or camps.
- Sigils, which allows units occupying it to warp to sigils, fortresses or camps.
