|Lucina returns to the fray, this time armed with a bow. This set is designed to take advantage of her unique Assist through a Link skill, while either giving her a fighting chance on either phase, or simply improving her player phase.
Weapon: Thögn is Lucina's weapon of choice. It grants her +3 Spd, and it also grants her +4 to all stats when she initiates against a melee opponent. This gives her an edge against them, heightening her offensive stats further while giving her extra defenses should she have to exchange blows.
Assist: Future Vision is Lucina's unique Assist. It lets her switch places with an ally, and afterwards, she's granted another action. This lets her help her allies move around while keeping up momentum, as she can either use this to help extend her range and catch a foe off guard. If used properly, it can also act as a Reposition of sorts, using her extra turn to help an ally move further. What's notable is that she can also use it to basically use it to help move her allies around corners, which is something Reposition cannot do.
Special: Moonbow is chosen as Lucina's Special. It has a fast charge, and it pierces through an opponent's Def, which can help Lucina power through tougher targets.
A Passive: Close Counter is Lucina's A skill. This allows her to counterattack even when she's attacked at melee range, thwarting any foe who would try and fight her up close, giving her an enemy phase presence. Should Lucina want to improve upon her player phase presence, then her natural Swift Sparrow 2 will suffice instead, which will grant +4 Atk and Spd when initiating combat.
B Passive: Atk/Spd Link 3 is a great choice for Lucina's B skill. It grants her and an ally +6 Atk and Spd after Lucina uses a movement Assist on them. This works perfectly with Lucina's Future Vision, as she can use it, switch places with an ally, grant the buff to her ally and herself, and then she can move again to take advantage of the buff. The extra Atk will help Lucina pack even more of a punch, while the extra Spd can help ensure that she'll outspeed her foe. She could also try using another Link skill, namely Atk/Def Link 3 instead, exchanging some Spd for Def, which can help her survive and exchange blows with slower foes.
C Passive: Atk Smoke 3 is an option for Lucina's C skill. It's a good skill for frontlining units, as it debuffs any nearby foe for -7 Atk after the user participates in combat, which can help make future combat engagements with those other foes a little less threatening. However, Lucina's natural Distant Guard 3 is still a solid option, as its damage mitigation is more guaranteed, mitigating the damage her allies take from ranged weapons by 4.
Sacred Seal: Quick Riposte 3 is Lucina's Seal. It grants her a follow up attack when she's attacked, guaranteeing that she'll be just as much of a threat on the enemy phase as well. Alternatively, she could use Attack +3 for a simple Atk boost to help her hit harder.
