Description Present-day Tokyo is the center of the entertainment world, and a place overflowing with creative energy called Performa. When the city is invaded by rogue beings called Mirages that feed on creative energy, it's up to Itsuki Aoi and his cohort of rising stars to face these foes head on by practicing to become better entertainers and joining forces with their own Mirages from the Fire Emblem games.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE Encore is an enhanced Nintendo Switch port of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, which originally released on the Nintendo Wii U in 2015 (original Japanese release)/ 2016 (western release) and features a number of additions, such as the brand-new optional EX Chapters, which reward players with additional story elements, costumes, party members and songs. In addition, the Encore version fixes various issues that were present in the original Wii U release and gives players some quality of life improvements, such as the "Quick Session" option during combat. It is currently listed thirteenth in the Catalog of Heroes and when sorting heroes by Origin, between Icon MiniUnit Head 12 Three Houses / Hopes and Icon MiniUnit Head 14 Engage.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE was originally announced as a spinoff crossover game between the Fire Emblem series and Shin Megami Tensei series; however, it later took on its own identity and has been advertised as an "Atlus × Fire Emblem" crossover. In addition to elements from the Fire Emblem series and Shin Megami Tensei series, the game also contains elements from other Atlus properties, such as Etrian Odyssey.

Fire Emblem characters in this game appear as supernatural beings called "Mirages", some of which are paired with partners called "Mirage Masters". The Fire Emblem characters represented primarily originate from Icon MiniUnit Head 1 Shadow Dragon / (New) Mystery, and Icon MiniUnit Head 10 Awakening.

The world of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore does not currently have a name within Icon MiniUnit Head 0 Heroes, however the Dining Hall uses "Tokyo-Style" as its respective Home-Style dish name.
