Anna's high speed and resistance for an infantry axe user make her an excellent budget counter to the blue, and potentially green, dragons that currently (at time of posting) are ever present in the meta.

Despite lacking any merges, 38 speed is enough to bait and get follow up attacks on many of these dragons, while taking minimal damage in the process - or alternatively, to initiate on them and get kills on the blue ones especially thanks to Medium investment. Surprisingly, her entire base kit can play pretty well into this build, just needing a suitable A skill to make it work well - however, alternative options of varying investment have been suggested for several other slots to make the build work even better.

Optimal is chosen as her weapon as a budget choice - it's not the best weapon, but it also costs nothing extra to use and does the job fine. If you're willing to invest slightly more, Stats with a +Res or +Spd refine could be a significant improvement. The faster special cooldown can be exploited with Moonbow or (especially using +Res refine) Iceberg, 5 HP is a nice durability boost, and then you either get: +3 speed, making securing doubles on some faster dragons like Corrin possible, or else +Res, making it easier to fight green dragons. Instead of Slaying Axe+, you can instead opt for another effective weapon such as Low investment or All-purpose. These give her a wider niche, meaning more opportunities for her to be useful, but at the cost of being maybe not as effective against dragons, and reducing her already shaky attack against them with no faster specials to compensate.

Optimal is almost always helpful, although it can be substituted for another preferred assist if needed.

Stats is kept as a budget special choice, but High investment or Defense can be switched in relatively cheaply. Moonbow is nice due to triggering in the first round of combat, helping secure kills she may otherwise miss due to her poor attack. Iceberg works best with a +Res Slaying Axe+ build. Astra is often overlooked and replaced on Anna, but it actually synergises well with her default kit - allowing her to drop to low HP while building the special, and then Vantage killing something blue when you warp in front of an ally using Nóatún. While this isn't exactly an easy combo to pull off, it works better than many people expect.

Stats helps specialise Anna into dealing with blue dragons extremely effectively. She ends up taking negligible damage outside of specials, while usually doubling and killing them. A more premium option is either High investment or Alternative, which also give a significant Res boost against dragons. Stats is even better in theory, but other builds can exploit Warding Breath's special cooldown bonus better than this build.

Medium investment is Anna's default B skill, and it works okay. It can combo with Nóatún as mentioned above, or you can replace it with Alternative, allowing Anna to get some player phase action after she tanks one or two dragons. This slot is somewhat flexible if you aren't running Astra, though.

Her C slot is fairly flexible. As with most of this budget build, her default Stats is fine if you have no specific team goal in mind. Since you'll mostly be deploying Anna against teams with several dragons, the Res Spur will likely be at least helpful.

For her seal, the ones that most help this build are either ones that provide enemy phase defence like '"`UNIQ--item-68--QINU`"'. '"`UNIQ--item-71--QINU`"' is also a solid choice, or perhaps '"`UNIQ--item-74--QINU`"' to patch up her otherwise shaky attack stat. She doesn't really rely on any seal to work as a budget build option.

This is a budget build that focuses particularly on utilizing Arvis's amazing magic tanking capabilities. Unlike fellow red tome users on more favorable, extreme sides of the offensive spectrum, such as Celica and Tharja, Arvis's passable Attack and very average Speed don't exactly lend themselves to nuking or sweeping. However, Arvis's amazing Resistance gives him a niche similar to that of Sanaki and Lilina: the ability to go toe-to-toe with green tome users, which are some of the most common metagame-centric threats at this time of writing. Additionally, unlike Lilina and Sanaki, Arvis's natural Speed stat allows him to ever-so slightly avoid doubles from unusually built enemies, such as higher merged units, or slower units that choose to increase their speed through Speed boons and Fury 3. If you already own hyper offensive red mages such as Celica and Tharja, but want to find a niche for Arvis and/or require a specialty green mage counter in Arena or Arena Assault settings, this build is worth consideration.

The key difference between this set and other standard Arvis builds is the main use of Triangle Adept 3 rather than Fury 3. In particular, using the former skill enables Arvis to specialize even better against opposing green units: he will take significantly less damage from green tome users while dealing more to these enemies in return. For example, a typically buffed +10 Nino with Gronnblade+ and Fury 3 will double and KO if Arvis chooses to use Fury 3; if Arvis uses Triangle Adept 3 instead, he consequently persists with 15 HP. Therefore, Arvis can successfully bait and weaken/kill most green tome users slower or weaker than this, including Deirdre, Julia, and even fully Horse buffed Gronnblade+ Cecilia.

If your team would prefer to eliminate these threats immediately, Green Tomebreaker ensures that Arvis can bait, double, and kill pretty much any green mage outright. Additionally, Green Tomebreaker prevents a fully buffed Fury 3 Spring Camilla from doubling and killing Arvis instead. Most green magic threats aside from the provided examples, however, will not be able to kill Arvis in a similar manner, so Recover Ring can be used instead to recover quickly from skirmishes. In combination with either Reciprocal Aid or Ardent Sacrifice, Recover Ring allows Arvis to act as a pseudo-healer if your team requires such utilities. To expand Arvis's list of targets he can tank and counterattack, Red Tomebreaker improves his matchups with opposing Red tome units (such as Celica, partially-boosted Tharja, and opposing Arvis) instead. Swordbreaker similarly does the same with common sword units, though keep in mind that a number of them also have access to a weapon with built-in Distant Counter and will take advantage of Arvis's depressing Defense.

Valflame further drives in the supportive aspect of this set with its superlative debuff effects (it's essentially a free Attack and Res Ploy in one weapon slot) while being reasonably powerful on its own. It may be tempting to use Rauðrraven+ with Triangle Adept 3 for the added benefit of also handling colorless foes, though Arvis's low Defense makes him susceptible to overpowering from the likes of Quickened Pulse + Moonbow Brave Lyn. Additionally, Valflame's debuffs come in handy too often to pass up. The choice between Iceberg and Moonbow depends on whether you require a nice damage bomb or a stronger counterattack in enemy phase, respectively.

Arvis also comes with Def Ploy, which can be used to support his team, but it can also be switches for another skill, if it isn't needed or something else is required.

This build aims to one shot blue mages, with her cool atq and res she can easily deal with the green ones. Axebreaker make her very reliable versus axe units, be careful of the armored one though, that is why the draco aura is here, she's able to ORKO green armour without being one shot. Because of her poor def and Triangle adept, she has to stay away from everything red, or with a bow.

A build intended to maximize Azura's supportive skills as a refresher unit while also giving her some self-sufficiency when needed. Ivs Explanation: +SPD is taken because it greatly augments her survivability and offensive output. For banes a -HP doesn't hurt her much as it can be patched with a HP +3 seal and she shouldn't be facing much combat anyway; Because her defense is already crippling low the player can hit it instead of HP if wanting to preserve her general survivability. For A slot, Fury further augments her speed and gives her a valuable attack boost plus an improvement on her bulk, allowing Azura to fend herself if she absolutely needs to. Wings of Mercy gives her mobility to abuse the sing skill. Since she already provides buffs with her exclusive weapon(when sing is used), we are taking a Ploy passive for her C slot as the debuffs stacks with her weapon effects and also helps her individual performance; Atk Ploy exploits the enhanced resistance given by Fury to amplify Azura's support potential and her own survivability, as it will dampen the attack power of affected foes. Defense Ploy is an alternative to help improve her physical teammates' attack power(especially when combined with Urðr's effect) or her own offensive output. Otherwise the C slot is left as flexible for other skills that better benefit the player's team. Her default weapon is perfectly fine, as it has high might and gives the target of her sing support a powerful stat boost. Her special is Moonbow due to its high cooldown and Azura's low defense. For Sacred Seals HP +3 improves her survivability.--Bentermuler (talk) 06:57, 29 September 2017 (UTC)

This build's focus drives on Spring Camilla's high defense (for a flier mage), and the Gronnraven(+) and Triangle Adept Combo, making Spring Festival Camilla able to do 40% more damage against archer units. This, added on with Quick Riposte 2 (or 3), creates a strong enemy phase to smack archer units. Either Moonbow or Bonfire is recommended, the former for its low cooldown and the latter for a slightly greater consistent boost in damage when it activates. Those two specials take advantage of Spring Camilla's high defense. The Distant Defense 3 sacred seal would add to Spring Camilla's damage on enemy phase if her special activates. Iote's shield, despite not adding any multiplier to damage (like Distant Defense if it activates special), is also a good choice of sacred seal.

Cecilia is a solid choice for any player looking to build a full cavalry team, as she can act as a good check to colourless and blue units. The reason why Cecilia's stats are suggested as neutral is because she can be obtained as a free unit, making her very widely available. She comes with the Gronnraven+ naturally, which is her weapon of choice as it gives her an advantage over colourless units. Her Assist is Reposition, which can either help her bring an ally closer to a foe, or she can use it to help get an ally out of danger. Her Special is Iceberg, as it runs off her decent Res stat and adds consistent damage. Her A skill is Triangle Adept. This works with her weapon's effect, giving her an incredible advantage against any colourless unit, and it also helps her smite blue units as well. With it, she can stand up to blue mages and archers in particular, and potentially destroy them on the counterattack. However, she then becomes extra vulnerable to red units, so she must exercise caution around them. Foes with Cancel Affinity may also thwart her, as they can bypass Triangle Adept. Her B skills are either Bowbreaker or G Tomebreaker. Bowbreaker allows Cecilia to take on archers, and it can help her one round them. G Tomebreaker on the other hand allows Cecilia to duel with opposing green tomes. Her C skill is Fortify Cavalry, which would allow her to boost the defensive prowess of a sturdy cavalry ally, or it could help further heighten the fantastic offensive power that a -Blade tome user could possess. It is however flexible, and other cavalry buffs can be used if needed. Her Seal is Res +1, which rounds out her Res to an even 30, and it'd make Iceberg do 15 damage instead.

As one of the two 3 star available dragons, Corrin can be built quite effectively on a budget and is very ommon for merges.

Because one cannot lean on '"`UNIQ--item-594--QINU`"' to provide damage, +Atk becomes extremely important in allowing Corrin to cut through enemies due to her low attack. However, if that boon is not available to you other boons such as +Def and +Spd are also acceptable alternatives. Because this build is focused on being a physical sponge, -Res is her optimal bane, though -HP is also acceptable.

'"`UNIQ--item-597--QINU`"' is Corrin's native weapon and is usually sufficient if you're building her on a budget. However, if one can spare the fodder '"`UNIQ--item-600--QINU`"' is generally better, as it makes her much more flexible in terms of what targets she can bait. Generally +Spd is the best refine, but if one has a +Def Corrin doubling down on a +Def refine also works out very well.

'"`UNIQ--item-603--QINU`"' is a powerful assist for enemy phase tanky units, but other options such as dual rallies are also very strong.

'"`UNIQ--item-606--QINU`"' is particularly important to Corrin, as she needs the boost to all of her stats. The Spd helps her not get doubled, the Def/Res are good ofr her bulk, and Corrin needs all the Atk she can get.

Alternately, if '"`UNIQ--item-609--QINU`"' is not available and one wants to make Corrin much more specialized, '"`UNIQ--item-612--QINU`"' allows her to easily stand up to red units.

'"`UNIQ--item-615--QINU`"' becomes the best skill to use if running '"`UNIQ--item-618--QINU`"', as it allows her to easily deal with sword units and is fairly readily available.

If running '"`UNIQ--item-621--QINU`"', '"`UNIQ--item-624--QINU`"' is a good option for her, as generally '"`UNIQ--item-627--QINU`"' is overkll alongside TA.

Alternately, one can run '"`UNIQ--item-630--QINU`"' if units such as Brave Lyn are a problem.

'"`UNIQ--item-633--QINU`"' is Corrin's natural C skill and is very good, but can be changed to suite the requirements of her team. Other common C skills are other hones/spurs, '"`UNIQ--item-636--QINU`"', or smokes, though they are much more expensive inheritance wise.

If one runs a breaker as their B skill, '"`UNIQ--item-639--QINU`"' becomes the best Sacred Seal of choice, given that it's fairly easy to craft even on a budget. Alternately, another powerful seal that should generally be maxed out is '"`UNIQ--item-642--QINU`"', especially if you utilize '"`UNIQ--item-645--QINU`"' and thus relying on Corrin to be a melee duelist.
