Tier List (Skill Inheritance Usefulness)[edit | edit source]
- This tier list compares Skills on their potential as a Skill Inheritance source. Even with this list it is recommended to keep at least one of each unit for Hero Merit and/or future Quests & Missions, and keep in mind that your ability to access certain skills
This list is intended to be used when sending units home as to quickly identify which of your units should be more deeply considered to be sent home, it is still recommended to see whether these units could have access outside of being SI fodder before dismissing them.
Please note 'skills' and 'abilities' are used interchangeably, and are used to mean either Inheritable weapons, Assists, Specials or Passives.

Units are rated by how good, and useful in the metagame their skills are, even if they themselves are not good with them. The rarity they acquire these skills is also taken into consideration, and as such this guide considers units summoned at their lowest summonable rarity (for example a Hector is considered at 5, whereas a Hinata is considered at 3
S+: Extremely useful abilities, usually one-of-a-kind, Always keep these units as the ability to put their skills can be make or break for your favourites. Hector
S: Holders of excellent abilities, which while may not be unique are found at the rarities they can be summoned at. Hinata, Lon'qu
S-: Typically holders of more common abilities, they are still very useful and you will see them in a lot of top builds for S tier Inheritance units so more of these are better. Moon bow etc. Also units which are the lone 4 holders of more niche but still good skills.
A: Have top tier abilities fully unlocked at 4 which are useful in a number of team archetypes. Bonfire, Dragon Gaze, Hone Spd etc Most units are here
B+: Excellent skills, but not maxed until they reach 5 with no 4 alternative available. Also where the Calvary/Armor/Flier buffs have been placed. Many of the specific buff characters would drop below this tier without that skill.
B: While these units may have a great skill there are other fairly common units which get this skill at tier 3 at a lower unit rarity. Likely not necessary unless you are in particular need of their skill and don't mind using the 20k feathers on a skill instead of a brand new 5 unit.
C+: These units have at least one useful feature available before 5. A 3 Rally buff, Donnell with Drag Back, Threaten Atk can all land you in this bracket. The other option is for them to have a somewhat useful ability as a 5*, but not good enough to get them in B
C: These units have no abilities of note, and unless there is a significant shift in the meta or you wish to inherit other units into them to improve their abilities send home without much concern.
