Enemy slot order[edit source]

Hello, please leave enemy slot orders blank if you are unsure which slot they are in. Slot orders can only be determined through AI manipulation or reading the game files. Endilyn (talk) 22:20, 9 February 2019 (UTC)

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought that Slots were determined by the enemy type preview seen below each map. I had no idea what slots exactly were for. Speaking of, I do have to ask: Why is there a slot catagory? What would people looking something up on the wiki need it for? Falconpunch10070481 (talk) 23:30, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
The enemy type previews are actually organized by their weapon type. If you are unsure what a parameter in a template does, you can check its documentation page like at Template:UnitData/doc for more information. The only visible impact slot orders have on gameplay as of now is as an AI tiebreaker. However it's a valid game mechanic and so the wiki records it. It's up to the reader to decide what they want to do with that information, whether it be ignore it or for some other purpose. Endilyn (talk) 23:52, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
Acknowledged; Next time I make a map page (which is going to be Book III, Chapter 4's 5 new maps), I'll leave the slots in the enemy info blank so that HertzDevil's scripts and/or bots can automatically update and add that in for me. Story order[edit source]

So, what you're saying is that the Story's Navbar at the bottom of a page links to the previous and/or next event, story, or paralogue with dialogue, while the Navbar located on the battle map/info box links to the next story, paralogue, etc. of the same type of catagory it goes to? Correct, that's how the story navbar works. The battle infobox's order is still not defined well however, and we are still deciding how it should function. Endilyn (talk) 23:52, 9 February 2019 (UTC)
If you want my opinion, I say the battle infobox's order should link to the next specific kind of map. I.E. Story Maps link to only Story Maps, Paralogues link to Other Paralogues, and specific events link to the matching event type, etc. I mean, that seems to be what the Wiki was intended to go for from the start, right? Or at least, don't other Wikis do that same function with the battle infobox? It would seem consistent, if you ask me.
Oh, and I have a question regarding Story Navbars: What if two events with stories get released on the same day? For example, a new Forging Bonds chapter comes out at the same day as the new Story chapter. Which comes first? Forging Bonds or Book II/III, Chapter XX? Other than that, your notification has been acknowledged. I'll make sure to look back on those pages and link the correct event with dialogue in chronological order.
