Description | Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). During combat, boosts unit's Atk/Spd by number of allies within 2 spaces × 2. (Maximum bonus of +6 to each stat.) At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2 and deals +10 damage when Special triggers. |
Notes[ | ]
- The stat increase that can be applied by Wolf Queen Fang is considered a temporary buff.
- When equipped with skills such as Beast Sense 4 and Beast Agility 4, a Beast unit will transform out of combat on turn 1 regardless of whether the transformation conditions of the user's weapon are met.
- Skills such as Beast Sense 4 and Beast Agility 4 will also keep the unit from reverting from their Beast form.
- The Atk+2 granted by Wolf Queen Fang when the user transforms is a stat boost, not a bonus.
- The damage boosting effect from activating a Special is a fixed +10 that ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- The added damage will also affect area-of-effect Specials such as Rising Flame and Growing Thunder.
- A foe equipped with Embla's Ward, Múspellflame, Niðavellir Axiom, or Gold Perfection will neutralize all sources of damage during combat except the minimum 1 damage from Umbra Burst weapons.
- For more information, see Damage calculation.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the stat boost and Special damage boost effects.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
Upgrades[ | ]
Can be upgraded in the Weapon Refinery. For a list of other such weapons, see list of upgradable weapons.
Notes[ | ]
- The stat decrease that can be applied by Wolf Queen Fang is considered a temporary debuff.
- The damage boosting effect from activating a Special is a fixed +7 that ignores the foe's Def or Res when calculating the damage boost, and can be reduced by damage reduction effects such as Armored Beacon, Dragon Wall 3, and Dodge.
- Refined Wolf Queen Fang will neutralize the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on foes from effects such as Heavy Blade 4, Special Cooldown Charge +1, or the Grand Conquests Infantry area effect.
- Since the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect will be neutralized on foes, Refined Wolf Queen Fang will also stack with the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect inflicted on the foe from effects such as Guard Sword+, Guard, or 【Divine Vein (Green)】, unless the foe is equipped with skills that neutralize the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect on unit.
- Refined Wolf Queen Fang will neutralize the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect on unit from effects such as Guard Sword+, Guard, or 【Divine Vein (Green)】.
- Since the "Special cooldown charge -X" effect will be neutralized on unit, Refined Wolf Queen Fang will also stack with the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on unit from effects such as Heavy Blade 4, Special Cooldown Charge +1, or the Grand Conquests Infantry area effect, unless the foe is equipped with skills that neutralize the "Special cooldown charge +X" effect on unit.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the Special damage boost and cooldown charge neutralization effects.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will not trigger after an extra action granted by Sing/Dance users or Duo/ Harmonized skills if it has already been triggered that turn or if the unit does not perform an action.
- If the unit uses a ranged weapon type and is inflicted with Canto Control, 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will trigger, but the unit's action will end without being able to move.
- Canto Control will reduce the amount of movement granted by 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 to 1 space if the affected unit uses a close weapon type.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 takes into account the unit's Move Type and the movement restrictions involved with it. For Example, a Cavalry unit cannot use 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 to enter or cross through a forest.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account effects that alter a unit's normal movement such as Pass 3, Obstruct 3, Traverse Terrain, 【Divine Vein (Flame)】, and 【Pathfinder】.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account warping effects such as Guidance 4 and Air Orders. However, the distance is limited to the maximum amount of spaces allotted by 【Canto (Rem. +1)】.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 also takes into account status effects that alter a unit's movement value such as Mobility increased, Stall, and Gravity.
- 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will have the remaining value be reduced to 1 if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity and did not move.
- The remaining value for 【Canto (Rem. +1)】 will not be affected if the unit was inflicted with Stall or Gravity after combat.
- Wolf Queen Fang's healing effect will not work if the user is prevented from recovering HP during combat from effects such as Fatal Smoke 4, Incurable+, or Deep Wounds, unless the user has a skill that reduces the effect of Deep Wounds such as Special Fighter 4.
- "If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the +7 Special damage boost, cooldown charge neutralization effects and 【Canto (Rem. +1)】.
- However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
