At start of turn, if unit is adjacent to only beast or dragon allies or if unit is not adjacent to any ally, unit transforms (otherwise, unit reverts). If unit transforms, grants Atk+2, and if unit initiates combat, inflicts Atk/Def-4 on foe during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack.
Notes[ | ]
When equipped with skills such as Beast Sense 4 and Beast N Trace 3, a Beast unit will transform out of combat on turn 1 regardless of whether the transformation conditions of the user's weapon are met.
The Atk+2 granted by Adult (Cavalry) when the user transforms is a stat boost, not a Bonus.
"If unit initiates combat" means if the user starts combat during the player phase. The unit does not need to deal damage, nor be the first to attack.
However, if the effect is applied after combat, the unit must also survive it to fulfill this condition.
The stat decrease that can be applied by Adult (Cavalry) is considered a temporary debuff.
Adult (Cavalry) can prevent the foe from making a standard follow-up attack.
As a general rule, if a unit is both prevented from making, and guaranteed to make a standard follow-up attack, the effects cancel out, and the Spd difference is used (including effects that increase the Spd difference such as Wyvern Rift).
Adult (Cavalry) will not prevent the additional follow-up attack of 【Potent Follow X%】.
A foe with effects such as Mag. Null Follow or Null Follow-Up will neutralize the follow-up preventing effect of Adult (Cavalry).
"If unit transforms" refers to out of combat transformations of Beast units. Transformations during combat will not trigger the stat boost, temporary debuffs, and follow-up preventing effects.
However, if the effect(s) apply after combat, the unit must also survive combat to fulfill this condition.
