Panic Ploy W Cherche's Axe (Skill)

Cherche's personal weapon plays directly into her previous best set utilizing Icon Class Green Axe Brave Axe+. Given Cherche's extremely high attack she can initiate and kill most enemies in the game. Both her new personal weapon and the introduction of Death Blow 4 Death Blow 4 allows Cherche to gain even more power while also allowing her to score extremely well in Arena.

Boon/Bane Cherche's best boon and bane set is +Atk and -Spd to maximize her personal weapon's power while dumping her worst and least consequential stat.

Weapon Her personal weapon Icon Class Green Axe Cherche's Axe is simply a Icon Class Green Axe Brave Axe+ with 3 more MT. Her Special refine gives Panic Ploy 3 Panic Ploy 3, which is an overall excellent skill that was generally worth the C slot, but now is just free. Along with Cherche's pretty good HP she is able to panic everyone except the other highest HP melee infantry and armor units. If you have no need to Panic Ploy, then +Atk works, just to squeeze out a little more damage.

Assist Like other fliers, Cherche does best with Skilliconassist Reposition, though whatever assist you want (such as a dual rally for score) also works well.

Special A two charge special like Skilliconspecial Moonbow allows Cherche to activate it during each combat when combined with the Heavy Blade 3 Heavy Blade 3 seal. This allows Cherche to win some matchups she otherwise may not be able to. Alternately, Skilliconspecial Galeforce allows for Cherche to freely move again after her second combat, allowing for greater movement capabilities. This scores well and because she already hits so hard, only affects some ultra defense neutral matchups or triangle disadvantage matchups.

A Skill Given Cherche's insane player phase potential, Death Blow 4 Death Blow 4 becomes the obvious choice both to maximize her damage in addition to maximizing her score.

B Skill If one wants to squeeze out wins against the tankiest units and maximize her SP, Chill Def 3 Chill Def 3 is perfect for her, severely hampering the tankiest unit on the enemy team. Without Weapon Triangle Advantage Chill Def gives Cherche +14 damage. Alternately, Hit and Run Hit and Run provides Cherche with a mechanism to escape combat after initiating.

C Skill Guidance 3 Guidance 3 gives Cherche good support capabilities for a mixed emblem tea, allowing for better movement options. Alternately, other skils such as Flier Guidance 3 Flier Guidance 3 or other buffs work well.

Sacred Seal Heavy Blade 3 Heavy Blade 3 allows Cherche to almost always get an extra charge during each attack, due to her extremely high attack. This lets her very quickly fire off special abilities.

Alternately, if you want more support skills such as Guidance 3 Guidance 3 are good seal slots.

This build is basically the same as Cherche's optimal build, but scaled back to be more affordable to most people. While this does lose power (and Arena Score) to her optimal build, it is still extremely strong and you don't lose out on too much.

A Skill Given Cherche's insane player phase potential, Death Blow 3 Death Blow 3 is a very strong skill for Cherche. While it provides less damage than its level 4 version, it's also much more accessible to most players.

B Skill Hit and Run Hit and Run provides Cherche with a mechanism to escape combat after initiating.

C Skill Cherche's C slot, like most units, is fairly free. What you want her to run will depend on your team composition and buff composition.

This build utilizes Cherche's native non-personal weapon, Icon Class Green Axe Hammer+, for an antiarmor build useful for people who want to use her to strictly counter armor units.

Boon/Bane Cherche's best boon is +Atk to get extra damage from her effective damage. Her boon can either be -Spd, as she relies on breaker or OHKO, or -Res to try to contest Bold Fighter 3 Bold Fighter 3 axe units and not get naturally doubled after canceling with the breaker.

For her assist, Skilliconassist Reposition is the standard recommended assist for fliers due to fliers not being restricted to terrain, allowing them to move allies around across water, mountains, etc.

Skilliconspecial Bonfire works well for Cherche's skill, as due to her high attack she generally doesn't need a special for her first combat, and can thus use it to OHKO someone on her second combat.

For her A-passive, keeping her default Attack Plus 3 Attack +3 is alright, as it works on both phases and carries extra weight for effective damage.

Cherche's high attack lets her OHKO most blue armors, so Axebreaker 3 Axebreaker 3 allows her to better contest green armors, especially because her low speed otherwise doesn't allow her to get a second hit in.

Her C-passive is flexible depending on what team she's on.

I noticed her budget build has Brave Axe despite her base weapon being Hammer+, so I thought I'd see what happens when she focuses her crazy attack on smashing armored units.

For weapon I went with Slaying Hammer+ since it's easily upgraded from Hammer+ in the refinery, and I went with the skill refine to further enhance her armor-killing abilities.

The assist skill is Reposition as it's really useful for fliers in order to move other allies over terrain they can't normally cross.

The special skill is Bonfire as she has good defense and it has a short charge time.

For the A passive I chose Brazen Atk/Def 3 as it's now more easily obtainable since you can get it from 4 star Ares. It gives a very large boost to two of her major stats, attack and defense, both of which are useful when facing armored units. If Ares isn't showing up then you can use Death Blow 3 or Atk +3 while you're waiting for him.

For the B passive I suggest Axebreaker 3 for taking down green armored units or the typical flier B skills, Hit and Run or Drag Back. Other useful options are Vantage 3, Guard 3, Wrath 3, or Quick Riposte 3.

The C passive is flexible depending on the team she's on, though Threaten Def 3 will help her break through defenses easier.

Her Sacred Seal is Quick Riposte 3 to make up for her low speed or Attack +3 to further increase her strength.
