This variant of Hector just came for a fight and he's here to win. With powerful tools at his disposal that can make him deadly on either phase, he makes for quite a fearsome combatant.

Weapon: Icon Class Green Axe Berserk Armads is Hector's weapon of choice. It reduces his Special charge by 1, letting him fire off a powerful Special much sooner. If that wasn't enough, it also has the Wrath 3 effect, which lets him deal an additional 10 damage when his Special activates and he's injured enough, and afterwards, he'll gain an extra Special charge at the start of his turn.

Assist: Skilliconassist Pivot is a good Assist for any armour, letting the user jump ahead of an ally, helping them keep up with them as armours have poor movement. Skilliconassist Swap is another acceptable option that simply switches the user and an ally around, which works better in tighter spaces.

Special: Glimmer is Hector's Special. It has a lightning fast charge, with a charge of 1 thanks to his weapon, and it helps him deal additional damage, letting him smash right through his foes, especially if his weapon's effect is also active at the same time. Bonfire is another acceptable option, as Hector will still be able to fire it off pretty quickly as well. It instead adds damage based off of his Def, and Hector's got an incredible amount of Def to take advantage of.

A Passive: Distant Counter is the best choice for Hector's A skill. With it, he'll be able to retaliate against ranged opponents, meaning he won't be helpless against them. In fact, they'll have to tread very carefully around Hector, lest they face his wrath.

B Passive: Bold Fighter 3 is a fantastic choice for Hector's B skill, as it's what gives him a menacing player phase presence. If Hector initiates combat, then he'll perform a follow up attack and his attacks will gain an extra Special charge. The follow up effect makes up for his lack of Spd, essentially making it a non issue, while the prospect of charging his Special incredibly quickly becomes a dangerous one for his foes, especially if his weapon's effect kicks in as well.

C Passive: Panic Ploy 3 is a great option for Hector's C skill. With his high HP, he can deter enemies that rely on buffs to break through their opponents. This can be necessary to put a stop to mages that might try to muscle through Hector. Armor March 3 is another good choice, as it improves a weakness that he and his fellow armored units face, namely the lack of mobility. Given that he can also shine well on the player phase, he'll need the extra Mov to walk up to his foes to smash their faces in.

Sacred Seal: Distant Def 3 Distant Def 3 is a good option for Hector's Seal. Pairing well with his Distant Counter, this can help soften the blow from enemy mages that might still dare to try and take on Hector anyway. Alternatively, he can run the Quickened Pulse Seal, which works fantastically with either of his Specials. With Glimmer, it's a bit redundant for the enemy phase, but it helps immensely on the player phase. He'll have it charged immediately, improving his potential for destruction for his first engagement. And should they somehow live through it and exchange blows with Hector, then they'll have to take another one, potentially powered up by his weapon. And with Bonfire, this leaves it at a charge of 1, meaning whether he initiates or retaliates, his opponent is going to have to stomach a charged Bonfire that's based off of a high Def stat. In any case, the Distant Def 3 Seal helps improve Hector's bulk, while the Quickened Pulse Seal improves Hector's potential for a destructive first engagement. Either seal will work fine.

This build focuses more on Hector's potential for an incredibly vicious, wrathful retaliation against his assailants.

Special: Bonfire is Hector's Special. It adds damage based off of Hector's Def, and he's got an incredible amount of Def to take advantage of. It has a charge of 2 thanks to his weapon, and the Quickened Pulse Seal drops that down to 1, letting him activate it the moment he gets attacked.

A Passive: Distant Counter is the best choice for Hector's A skill. With it, he'll be able to retaliate against ranged opponents, meaning he won't be helpless against them. In fact, they'll have to tread very carefully around Hector, lest they face his wrath.

B Passive: Wrath 3 is an excellent choice for Hector's B skill, as it's what makes his enemy phase presence incredibly overwhelming. This skill lets him deal an additional 10 damage when his Special activates and he's injured enough, and afterwards, he'll gain an extra Special charge at the start of his turn. This is the exact same effect as his weapon and it stacks, letting him deal a monstrous extra 20 damage on top of the high amount of damage Bonfire would deal. To top it all off, the moment his next turn starts, he gains an extra 2 Special charges, meaning he's ready to launch an explosive Bonfire on another opponent.

C Passive: Panic Ploy 3 is Hector's C skill. With his high HP, he can deter enemies that rely on buffs to break through their opponents. This can be necessary to put a stop to mages that might try to muscle through Hector.

Sacred Seal: Quickened Pulse is Hector's Seal, and is necessary to bring Bonfire's charge down to 1, allowing him to activate Bonfire immediately upon being hit.

With the appearance of the first Brazen seal, Vector can grab his Wrath kit and turn himself into an unusual, yet devastating killing machine against anything melee range. Instead of relying on Distant Counter Distant Counter to one-shot enemies with a strong special activation, this build relies on stacking stats along with Wrath when in range, and continually killing enemies in one hit in Player Phase, one per turn, in order to continue fighting endlessly. This build relies on an allied Legendary Hector (Lector) with Ostias Pulse Ostia's Pulse effect active on Vector, so that he can use a Brazen seal and keep cooldowns as they should be. Despite the requirements, this build sees its worth in managing an ORKO on even the tankiest reds, most of which not even being able to survive on defense tiles.

Special: Skilliconspecial Bonfire is Hector's Special. It adds damage based off of Hector's Def, and he's got an incredible amount of Def to take advantage of. It has a charge of 2 thanks to his weapon, and the Quickened Pulse Seal or Lector's Ostias Pulse Ostia's Pulse drops that down to 1, letting him activate it the moment he gets attacked.

A Passive: Brazen Atk Def 3 Brazen Atk/Def 3 is the bread and butter of Hector's damage potential, especially when stacked further in the seal slot. This Brazen skill alone adds 11 damage to every attack that activates Bonfire, more damage than even Wrath. Since it's active in Wrath range, it synergizes greatly with his weapon and B skill.

B Passive: Wrath 3 Wrath 3 is an excellent choice for Hector's B skill, as it's what makes his enemy phase presence incredibly overwhelming. This skill lets him deal an additional 10 damage when his Special activates and he's injured enough, and afterwards, he'll gain an extra Special charge at the start of his turn. This is the exact same effect as his weapon and it stacks, letting him deal a monstrous extra 20 damage on top of the high amount of damage Skilliconspecial Bonfire would deal. To top it all off, the moment his next turn starts, he gains an extra 2 Special charges, meaning he's ready to launch an explosive Bonfire on another opponent, and the cycle repeats at the beginning of every turn.

C Passive: Armor March 3 Armor March 3 is Hector's C skill. With a Player Phase kit, as an armor, and paired with Lector, he'll very much appreciate the

Sacred Seal: Quickened Pulse Quickened Pulse is Hector's Seal, and is necessary to bring Skilliconspecial Bonfire's charge down to 1, allowing him to activate Bonfire immediately upon being hit. However, to maximize the power of the build, Ostias Pulse Ostia's Pulse from an allied Lector can be used, giving room to Brazen Atk Spd 3 Brazen Atk/Spd 3 seal, which further boosts his killing potential.

For players who wish to use Hector right out of the gate, he thankfully comes with everything he needs in his base kit. He really just needs an Assist, a C skill, and a Seal, and everything else is already set.

A Passive: Distant Counter is the best choice for Hector's A skill. With it, he'll be able to retaliate against ranged opponents, meaning he won't be helpless against them. In fact, they'll have to tread very carefully around Hector, lest they face his wrath.

B Passive: Wary Fighter 3 Wary Fighter 3 is a good choice for Hector's B skill. It prevents the user and the opponent from performing a follow up attack, which works more for the opponent's detriment as Hector doesn't really have any Spd to be naturally doubling any opponents anyway. This improves his survival by preventing faster foes from taking advantage of his nonexistent Spd.

C Passive: Ward Armor Ward Armor is an option for Hector's C skill should he be used on an armoured team, as he'd be able to bolster their defenses and make them sturdier. However, this skill slot is flexible, open to be whatever else the player may need depending on their discretion and team composition.

Sacred Seal: Distant Def 3 is an option for Hector's Seal, to help improve his bulk against ranged opponents. However, his Seal slot is also flexible, open to be whatever else he needs. Close Def 3 Close Def 3 is another good option to maximize his melee bulk, while Armored Boots Armored Boots can be considered if he's on a regular team or if Armor March 3 is not available, although the player should be mindful of the HP threshold.
