{{BuildPageHeader}}{{ Skillbuild_Infobox |name=Cavalry Team Oscar |type=optimal |mode=all |emblem=cavalry |ivs=+Atk/-Def,-Res |weapon=Brave Lance+ |weapon2= |assist=Reposition |assist2= |special=Luna |special2= |passiveA=Death Blow 3 |passiveA2=Attack +3 |passiveB=Hit and Run |passiveB2=Drag Back |passiveC=Hone Cavalry |passiveC2=Fortify Cavalry |seal=Attack +3 }} {{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Firesweep |ivs=+Spd/-Res |type=Optimal |mode=All |emblem=Cavalry |weapon=Firesweep L+ |weapon2= |assist=Reposition |assist2= |special=Luna |special2= |passiveA=Swift Sparrow 2 |passiveA2=Life and Death 3 |passiveB=Hit and Run |passiveB2=Drag Back |passiveC=Hone Cavalry |passiveC2=Flexible |seal= |description=With a solid 33/34 offensive stat line, Oscar can put the {{WeaponText|Firesweep L+}} to effective use. It is the weapon of choice, allowing him to assail his foes and receive no counterattack in return. He will also be unable to counterattack, however. His Assist is {{AssistText|Reposition}}, which moves an ally to the other side of the user. This can be done to help an ally get closer to an enemy, or it can be used to get an ally out of danger. His Special is {{SpecialText|Luna}}, which halves the foe's Def and has a charge of 3. Due to the rhythm of his strikes, he'll be able to strike twice and then his Special's charge would be at 1. Then his next target will take one hit, followed by a hit with his Special activated. This would effectively be the same length as {{Sp|Moonbow}}, but Luna has a stronger effect, and is preferred here. His A skill is {{PassiveText|Swift Sparrow 2}}. It grants +4 Atk and Spd when initiating combat, boosting the power of Oscar's attack and granting him higher Spd to double attack more opponents. {{PassiveText|Life and Death 3}} is another alternative that grants +5 Atk and Spd, but it also drops Oscar's Def and Res by -5, which would compromise his defenses. While he wouldn't be able to counterattack anyway, if he has to take a hit, it wouldn't do him well to have a skill that can put him at risk. His B skill is either {{PassiveText|Hit and Run}} or {{PassiveText|Drag Back}}. Both of these skills allow Oscar to retreat backwards one space after attacking. This can help him get back into formation with the rest of his allies, and it also makes him perform hit and run tactics. They both serve the same purpose, although Drag Back will drag an enemy back with Oscar if they survive that round of combat, which means another ally can take over and finish the job. However, Drag Back will not work if the enemy unit cannot move into the space that Oscar was in. His C skill should be a cavalry buff of some sort, like {{PassiveText|Hone Cavalry}}. To make the most of Oscar, he is best used on a full cavalry team. They could grant him the buffs he needs to help him defeat his foes, and he can also support them with buffs as well. }} {{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Budget |ivs=+Spd/-Res |type=Alternative |mode=All |emblem= |weapon=Sapphire Lance+ |weapon2= |assist=Reposition |assist2=Rally Spd/Def |special=Moonbow |special2= |passiveA=Fury 3 |passiveA2= |passiveB=Lancebreaker 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC=Spur Spd/Def 2 |passiveC2=Flexible |seal= |description=Oscar has some pretty good natural skills, so this build is for players on a budget, not requiring as many skills from other units. He comes with the {{WeaponText|Sapphire Lance+}} by default, which gives him a heightened advantage against red units. This allows him to take out Red Swords more easily as well as withstand red mages better. He would be far more vulnerable to green units however, so he should take caution around them. His Assists are either {{AssistText|Reposition}} or {{AssistText|Rally Spd/Def}}. Reposition is a good, versatile Assist that can help Oscar propel his allies into the fray, or he can use it to help an ally flee from an oncoming threat. He also comes with Rally Spd/Def naturally, which grants +3 Spd and Def to any ally. His Special is {{SpecialText|Moonbow}}, as it has a fast charge and a defense piercing effect, which can help Oscar break through tougher foes. His A skill is {{PassiveText|Fury 3}}, which grants +3 to all stats, improving Oscar's overall combat performance. However, it injures him for 6 damage after combat, so the player would do well to keep him healthy in endurance styled maps. His B skill is {{PassiveText|Lancebreaker 3}}, which he comes with naturally. With his weapon already giving him a heightened advantage against swords, this skill covers opposing lancers, as Lancebreaker denies them the chance to do a double attack while guaranteeing Oscar to perform a double attack against them. Oscar's C skill can be {{PassiveText|Spur Spd/Def 2}}, which he comes with naturally. It grants +3 Spd and Def to any ally adjacent to him. When combined with his Rally Spd/Def, he can help grant +6 Spd and Def to his allies, which can help Oscar be a team player no matter what kind of team he's on. However, he can use other C skills, like cavalry buffs if he's on a full cavalry team, making his C skill slot flexible. }}{{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Slaying Spear Oscar |ivs=+Atk/-Res |type=Optimal |mode=Arena |emblem=Cavalry |weapon=Slaying Spear+ |weaponRefine=Atk |weapon2= |assist=Reposition |assist2= |special=Moonbow |special2=Glimmer |passiveA=Life and Death 3 |passiveA2=Death Blow 3 |passiveB=Lancebreaker 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC= |passiveC2= |seal=Attack +3 |seal2=Speed +3 |description= Up until the Weapon Refinery update, the vast majority of good Oscar builds used Brave Lance+. Well, now with the addition of Slaying Spear+ into the game, Oscar has another option. With Slaying Spear+ and an Attack refine, Oscar is able to kill almost all of the Red and Blue lineups, and with a Hone and Fortify buff, he kills off the few stragglers, and manages to kill quite a significant chunk of the Green lineup. Going down the line, looking at his other skills, Reposition is a bit of a no-brainer for most units, as it's one of the best assist skills. Moonbow slightly outperforms Glimmer in this setup, he gets 2 more kills by having Moonbow, but truly, either one works. Life and Death 3 is the best A skill for him, as the +5 to speed and attack allows him to kill quite a few more units than the +6 attack he gets from Death Blow 3, however, Death Blow is a suitable replacement if you don't have/aren't willing to give up Life and Death fodder. Lancebreaker 3 is key for this build, as it's what allows him to kill nearly all the blue lineup without buffs, the only units he can't kill being dragons. His C skill is flexible depending on his teammates, if he's on a Horse team, obviously he needs a Horse buff, but if he's on a mixed team then there's a slew of options. Attack +3 and Speed +3 perform almost identically for him, however, the extra Attack from Attack +3 is better utilized by Oscar as the extra speed doesn't allow him to double that many more units. }}
