BuildPageHeader{{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Tank |ivs= +Def,+Res/-Spd |type=optimal |mode=all |emblem=armor |weapon=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine=Def/Res |weapon2= |assist=Pivot |assist2=Swap |special=Ignis |special2=Bonfire |passiveA=Distant Counter |passiveA2= |passiveB=Quick Riposte 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC=Ward Armor |passiveC2=Armor March 3 |seal=Atk Ploy 3 |seal2=Distant Def 3 |description=When Fire Emblem Heroes was first released, Sheena was more or less universally ridiculed as a unit who could not accomplish anything. She was the closest thing to a tank that the game had to offer, but the dominance of Red units at the time and her inability to output any meaningful damage meant that she couldn't practically be used. Fortunately, Skill Inheritance has given her the opportunity, albeit an expensive one, to become a dominating force on the battlefield by augmenting her already-impressive defenses while adding a punishingly strong offensive capability. Additionally, the decreased presence of Reds and the increased dominance of Blues and Greens mean that there are even less hard counters to Sheena in the arena. With Blue mages such as Reinhardt and Corrin (F) (Nohrian Summer) and Blue physical Brave weapon users such as Cordelia and Tana being common threats in the arena, all of which who are vastly empowered by movement type buffs, Sheena has finally found her place in the meta. For her IVs, Sheena can make use out of any boon that isn't +Speed (as her Speed stat is too low to salvage apart from stacking three Goad Armor buffs, which doesn't synergize well with her role or with most Armor Emblem teams). However, her top two boons would arguably be +Defense and +Resistance, with the latter being slightly better. +Resistance allows her to mitigate magical damage slightly better to preserve her combat potential for future engagements. +Defense achieves the same purpose if the enemy team is more physical damage oriented while also providing a small boost to her Ignis/Bonfire damage. Slaying Axe+ is the optimal weapon for Sheena as it is a 3 might upgrade from her native Killer Axe+. The charge reduction granted by Slaying Axe+ is critical to Sheena because it allows her to activate her special in a timely fashion. Most armored units innately lack enemy phase capabilities and/or have poor player phase capabilities, with Sheena being no exception. Therefore, her optimal A slot skill should be Distant Counter, as it allows her to retaliate against ranged units who would otherwise attack her with impunity. This allows her to be a reliable check against some of the most oppressive threats in Arena, namely Reinhardt and Brave Bow archers other than Lyn (Brave Heroes). For her B slot, Quick Riposte 3 is the natural choice since it allows her to perform a guaranteed second attack when initiated upon in her first round of combat (and successive rounds if the HP threshold is satisfied), an action that would otherwise be impossible for her due to her low speed as an armored unit. This second attack is also her opportunity to activate her special, which is the bulk of her offensive capability. Her C slot is flexible, although Armor March 3 is a good choice if she is in an Armor Emblem team and needs to be the second carrier of the skill. Alternatively, she can run Ward Armor to help support her armored allies and make them even harder to kill. Goad Armor can be another alternative if using a more player phase oriented armor team. If Sheena is used outside of an Armor Emblem team, her C slot should a buff of your choice that best supports her team. Sheena's relatively modest base attack of 30 is deceptive of her offensive potential, which rests entirely on her special that makes use of her high defense. Ignis is a better choice than Bonfire in most cases due to the Sheena's low speed that allows her to be doubled by virtually all enemy units and the attack sequence of Quick Riposte (on a non-brave weapon enemy phase, the order would be Enemy attack -> Sheena counter -> Enemy attack -> Sheena counter). As a result, Sheena will always have Ignis activated in the first round of combat on her second attack as long as she is attacked first, making it a superior choice over the weaker Bonfire, which will also activate on her second attack. However, there are some cases where Bonfire is beneficial due to its lower charge timer, namely when the enemy has a Brave weapon and can quadruple attack Sheena to potentially kill her before the Ignis-powered second attack occurs. An example would be Cordelia (Bridal Blessings), who can survive a regular attack from Sheena but can quadruple attack her and kill her before allowing Quick Riposte to activate. Bonfire remedies this situation by allowing Sheena to strike back immediately on her first attack and neutralize her attacker. Pivot or Swap are typically an armored unit's top two choices for an assist since they make the most of the one movement square restriction. Pivot allows for Sheena to pseudo-gain an extra square of movement if there is an ally she can "leapfrog" over while Swap allows her to switch positions with an ally to get into the thick of combat. This is especially useful on maps with choke points which make Reposition potentially unreliable. As for Sacred Seals, Sheena can make great use out of the Atk Ploy 1 seal due to her unusually high resistance. This allows her to be even better at taking hits from the enemy. Distant Def 1 provides additional, guaranteed mitigation against ranged damage, which is typically the bulk of the source of damage she is receiving. HP +3 is also a valid choice on Sheena, as she is a tank who appreciates every bit of defensive boost. All in all, Sheena is an impressive unit who can serve your team well with her unparalleled defensive capabilities while retaining the ability to deal significant damage. If you have the resources, you will not go wrong investing in building her. }} {{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Maximum Score |ivs=Spd/-HP,-Def,-Res |type=Alternative |mode=arena |emblem=armor |weapon=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine=Def/Res |assist=Rally Spd/Def+ |assist2= |special=Aether |special2= |passiveA=Distant Counter |passiveA2=Brazen Atk/Def 3 |passiveB=Vengeful Fighter 3 |passiveB2=Quick Riposte 3 |passiveC=Armor March 3 |passiveC2=Def Ploy 3 |seal=Atk Ploy 3 |seal2=Spd Ploy 3 |description= This build is meant to maximize Sheena's ability to be the highest scoring 3-4 star unit along with Gwendolyn. While this build is not as strong as Sheena's other builds, it is able to capitalize on Sheena's large bulk and low attack to create a unit that is fairly capable of supporting an Arena Bonus Unit. If Sheena is an Arena Bonus Unit, or you don't care for having her support, Sheena can be built to be effective in combat outside of just support as well. This build requires the +Spd boon, as it is a superboon allowing her to reach 170 BST, which makes her the highest scoring 3-4 star available unit in the game. She needs any accompanying non-superbane so -HP, -Def, or -Res works out. If you aren't going the ploy route -Res is probably best, but otherwise -HP is best due to decreasing her bulk the least over getting hit multiple times. Weapon Sheena can pick between a Slaying Axe+ or a Slaying Hammer+, depending on the threats your arena team usually faces. Slaying Hammer is better if you see a lot of armored foes, but Slaying Axe allows Sheena to charge her special faster, as well as not steal kills from your Arena Bonus Unit. The Defense refine helps her general bulk more, given that most units hit def, but Res is also a viable option, especially if you're going the ploy route. Assist: In order to maximize score, any dual rally is necessary. As a double rally+ is the highest scoring assist Sheena can inherit, she uses it. Special: In order to maximize score, Aether is the better pick between the 500SP skills. A Passive Due to Sheena' high mixed bulk she can run Distant Counter well, being a strong mage counter. This also frees up one of her other passive slots to run a 200SP skill. However, because she does not have access to a unique weapon she doesn't need a 300SP A skill for her maximum score kit, and can instead run any 240 SP passive. Brazen Atk/Def 3 is one of the budget options, as well as Sturdy Blow 2. If you want to improve Sheena's performance Steady Breath and Warding Breath pair well with Aether in order to increase her charge rate. B Passive Like every other armor unit, Sheena runs Vengeful Fighter 3 and Bold Fighter 3 well, as her speed isn't high enough to naturally double anyone. Alternately, she can run Quick Riposte 3 or Wary Fighter 3 as budget options, with Quick Riposte increasing her own combat while Wary Fighter ensures that she doesn't steal kills. C Passive If you are running Sheena with other armor units, Armor March 3 is the best C skill for either her or her partner. Alternately, Sheena can utilize her high res to run Ploys well, such as Def Ploy 3, or any other ploy. If neither of those options are desirable for your team composition any Drive skill or dual spur works. Seal If going the ploy support build, a second ploy such as Atk Ploy 3 or Spd Ploy 3 helps her support the team. If not going the ploy support build, any Drive is also good. To bolster Sheena's combat while running Bold Fighter, the Quick Riposte 3 seal helps turn Sheena into a mixed phase menace. }}{{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Special Fighter Sheena |ivs=+Res, +Def/-Spd, -HP |type=Optimal |mode=All |emblem=Armor |weapon=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine=+Def |weapon2=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine2=+Res |assist=Swap |assist2= |special=Aether |special2= |passiveA=Distant Counter |passiveA2= |passiveB=Special Fighter 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC=Atk Ploy 3 |passiveC2=Def Ploy 3 |seal=Quick Riposte 3 |seal2= |description=Sheena is a unit with amazing mixed bulk, but low speed. Strong units that can double and activate their special against her pose the greatest threat to her. However, thanks to the addition of Special Fighter 3, she can now nullify their special cooldown, while simultaneously accelerating her own. This, with the help of Quick Riposte 3 to double, makes Sheena's enemy-phase presence even stronger than it was previously. Sheena's low and negligible speed stat makes -Spd the clear bane for her. She'd much rather have additional points in either Defense or Resistance, depending on her intended role. However, if one wants to use her for Arena scoring purposes, Sheena's speed has a superboon that takes Sheena to 170 BST, the threshold for the next scoring bin. In that case, the next best bane is -HP, as weapon refinery upgrades can easily make up for it with the +5 HP boost they give. Slaying Axe+ is upgradable from Sheena's base kit and allows her to run Aether on a 4-turn cooldown. Again, refining the weapon for additional Defense or Resistance is the best option to compliment Sheena's bulk. Swap is a standard movement skill for armor units that allows Sheena to be more flexible in her positioning. It is not imperative to Sheena's overall build, however, and can easily be "swapped" to a Dual Rally assist for Arena scoring purposes. Distant Counter is the best choice for Sheena's A slot. It allows her to engage and destroy ranged units on the enemy phase, and thus is very important to her overall performance as a tank. Special Fighter 3 is an extremely powerful skill. It allows Sheena to have the effects of both Steady Breath and Guard 3 as long as she has over 50% of her HP. This allows Sheena to easily charge up and use Aether on her foes and stay safe from enemy specials, making her very dangerous and difficult to kill in the enemy phase. Atk Ploy 3 makes use of Sheena's high Res stat to further increase her bulk against enemy units. Def Ploy 3 can also be considered to increase Sheena's damage output, although it does interfere with the defense-piercing properties of Aether. Finally, Quick Riposte 3 is Sheena's Sacred Seal. It gives her doubling power in the enemy phase to activate her special, which would then help her to heal and maintain the skill's threshold to double other enemies. }} {{Skillbuild Infobox |name=...Stubborn |ivs=+HP/-Spd |type=Optimal |mode=all |emblem=Armored |weapon=Carrot Axe+ |weaponRefine=Res |weapon2= |weaponRefine2= |assist=Pivot |assist2=Reposition |special=Noontime |special2=Aether |passiveA=Brazen Def/Res 3 |passiveA2= |passiveB=Renewal 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC=Atk Smoke 3 |passiveC2= |seal=Armored Boots |seal2= |description=With high base Def and Res, Sheena is already equipped to handle most incoming attacks. The most effective use of this build is to use Sheena as a mobile barrier accompanied by dive units such as Kagero and Hinoka (WF). The Carrot Axe+ with the Res bonus creates an equilibrium in Sheena's defenses, making most attacks against her fairly unimpressive even when boosted. Combining Noontime with Carrot Axe+ and Renewal 3 allows Sheena to get a steady influx of health, allowing for the healer to focus on other units or to negate the need for a healer at all. Brazen Def/Res 3 is an expensive ability to acquire, but this allows Sheena's health to fluctuate in a more controllable fashion and ensures that when her health is low she will likely be able to recover. Atk Smoke 3 is a good ability to use with Sheena as further defensive reassurance. Attacking a foe and setting this debuff in action is a fairly decent alternative to Distant Def 3, if used effectively. This allows Sheena to have the Armored Boots seal, doubling her movement. Armored Boots is useful here in positioning, as Armored Boots allows Sheena to navigate difficult terrain (such as trees) faster than infantry units. Equipping Sheena with Reposition allows for Sheena to navigate difficult terrain and effectively throw allies over it, making assassinations more manageable for glass cannon units. Noontime, while it allows for survival, is not an impressive move when dealing damage, but the small numbers combined with Carrot Axe+ further allow for Sheena to take a heavy beating and come out alive. Replacing this with Aether is a risky but efficient choice, as the steady health won't be present, though the heavy damage and health return may make it worth the patience in some cases. }} {{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Sheena Mixed Tank |ivs=+Atk/-Spd |type=Optimal |mode=Any |emblem= |weapon=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine=Res |weapon2= |assist=Pivot |assist2= |special=Aether |special2= |passiveA=Steady Breath |passiveA2= |passiveB=Wary Fighter 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC=Def Ploy 3 |passiveC2= |seal=Atk Ploy 3 |seal2= |description= Sporting the finest def/res average, Sheena is next to invincible outside of gem weapons/triangle adept. With just a small push in the right direction, Sheena becomes an unstoppable force of nature that can be thrown into the middle of combat without fear nor a second thought. Slaying Axe+ is absolutely amazing with her credentials and having it accessible stock is nothing short of amazing. To compensate for her slightly lower res, adding a res buff from refining puts it over her regular def, which is necessary when dealing with tomes. Steady Breath is an incredible tool for Sheena, as if it were made for her. Combining it with her impecable defenses and -1 cool down from Slaying Axe+, Aether is now a move that will happen on defense almost around the clock. Now, Sheena's offenses are rather lack luster for an armored unit but with the help of Atk/Def Ploys, it is no longer and issue when needing that final push to put her enemies into the dirt. She prefers to be on the defensive, with attacking leaving her a bit more vulnerable and raising her mortality rating for the round. When on offense, its best to have either aether ready or tackle a small health bar as opposed to one that's full. On defense, she's the shield that protects the people of Gra without fail. }} {{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Terror of Enemy Phase |ivs=+Res/-Spd |type=Optimal |mode=all |emblem=armor |weapon=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine=Res |weapon2=Silver Axe+ |weaponRefine2=Res |assist= |assist2= |special=Aether |special2=Glacies |passiveA=Distant Counter |passiveA2= |passiveB=Vengeful Fighter 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC=Threaten Def 3 |passiveC2=flexible |seal=Close Def 3 |seal2=Distant Def 3 |description=Sheena, once the pinnacle of a joke unit, has become a secret titan in the meta; her incredible high-rounded defensive stats makes other tanks jealous. Additionally, her color and high Resistance makes her the ultimate Armored anti-Micaiah. With the right investment, Sheena can become a true terror of enemy phase. Those familiar with Winter’s Envoy Tharja are probably familiar with this build- counterkill EVERYTHING through the power of Specials. Sheena has a particular advantage with this build in concept; her defensive spread is quite similar to W!Tharja, but she boasts a greater weapon reforge bonus, BST, and weapon options. She’s also a touch faster than Tharja; while this doesn’t sound like much, it can mean the world against the slowest mages who get seemingly unnatural doubles against W!Tharja. There are two variations to this build- Slaying Aether, and Silver Glacies. Another distinct advantage for Sheena is her access to the Killer effect, putting Aether at 4 charge and allowing her to trigger it every combat as if it was Ignis. For Arena score purposes, this is the best option, and the added sustain of armor-piercing healing cannot be emphasized enough on a VF build. The other variation, Silver Glacies, chooses instead to capitalize on her high defenses and makes up for her low Attack a bit by the extra Might. Slaying Glacies is an option, but in terms of output it’s less effective due to the wasted (read: relatively ignored in most circumstances) Killer effect. Optimization is, as always, vital. One’s kneejerk may be to give her Ignis, but this is a foolhearty endeavor on the surface. The goal with +Res Sheena with Res reforge is to seize that Distant Counter advantage and laugh at Micaiah’s attempts to penetrate her armor; this makes her Resistance 4 points higher than Defense. However, Ignis CAN be run if she receives a Fire Blessing, which balances her Defense with her Resistance (and his highly encouraged to be her Blessing). Furthermore, a Threaten skill is nigh-required; if your opponent’s goal is to bait Sheena into attacking, debuffing them in the process of waiting for her turn will help Sheena get some cheeky bonus damage in. }} {{Skillbuild Infobox |name=Why won't you DIE |ivs=+Res, +Def/-Spd |type=Alternative |mode=All |emblem=Armored |weapon=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine=Def |weapon2=Slaying Axe+ |weaponRefine2=Res |assist=Pivot |assist2=Swap |special=Moonbow |special2=Glimmer |passiveA=Brazen Def/Res 3 |passiveA2= |passiveB=Wary Fighter 3 |passiveB2= |passiveC=Atk Ploy 3 |passiveC2=Fortify Armor |seal=Def Ploy 3 |seal2=Armored Boots |description=Sheena is the ultimate tank. With a def/res lineup of 36/33, you have to put her on the front lines. The following build is for all those people unlucky enough (like me) to never see a billion Hectors for distant counter or units with wrath. Normally, it might be better to focus entirely on one defensive stat and choose what tank to be, but in Sheena's case you can get both easily over 40 with IV choice, brazen def/res, and weapon refine. With +def IV and a res weapon refine, you are sitting on def/res of 46/44 respectively. With +res and def weapon refine, you are sitting on 47/43. If someone decided to focus all on defense, her def reaches a monster 50 and her res is still a respectable 40. Reversely, focusing entirely on res leads to 43 defense and 47 resistance. Albeit this only applies when below 80% health, which with Sheena being on the front line, she should reach quickly. The weapon of choice is Slaying Axe for the extra control in weapon refine to further heighten the defensive stats or give it to her attack for a little patch up. Also Slaying Axe makes short cooldown specials occur every other attack. The idea of this build is simple; throw Sheena into the fray, abuse wary fighter, and watch her moonbow/glimmer each unit that chooses to attack her whom she can counter attack. Another option would be to run a 3 cooldown special like Bonfire/Iceberg and go on a player phase return attack with a nuking special ready, or a healing special like Sol or Aether to truly be annoying and stay above the 50% mark to keep wary fighter active. You really cannot go wrong but each special has different uses and truly defines the role she will take. With Sheena's high resistance, it would be hard not to suggest running a double ploy. With attack ploy you can laugh at the enemy as they further struggle to do damage. Another option is her native armor emblem buff and armor march for armor teams. Some foils of this build are brave weapons nullifying wary fighter, and weapons good against armor. There are a plethora of strong sword units who will eventually take down Sheena, but it will not be easy. None of these foils change the fact that she still has amazing defensive stats so will survive anyway. }}
