| This is a way to make Henry actually viable for dishing out damage. I always thought Henry had nominal potential in the game, which is a shame because he was so great in Awakening.
This set revolves around the use of Rauðrblade+, to bump up his abysmal Atk to more devastating levels. This set works especially well if you have a mixed team using Tactics buffs, but regular buffing skills can work all right, too.
Reposition and Draw Back are mainly for getting your allies into the right position or saving them from danger. Since Henry has decent Def, he can tank a few physical hits. Not much else to it.
Moonbow and Glimmer are “bread ‘n’ butter” for the Blade tomes, and it’s no different for this set. Be mindful that Glimmer is dependent on damage dealt, so make sure Henry has all his buffs.
Death Blow 4 is a huge game-changer, sporting a hefty Atk+8 when initiating combat. For Henry, this is a blessing because it helps him compete with other Blade tome users. However, if you’re not willing to sacrifice a “well-earned” Brave Celica, then Death Blow 3 is still a reliable option.
Since Henry isn’t going to be doubleattacking anytime soon, he needs some Breaker skills to help him in that regard. Swordbreaker is the best thing for him because it helps him take care of those pesky, speedy sword units out there. Red Tomebreaker allows him to stand up to other red mages that may stand in his way, but because they’re rather uncommon, he should let a blue ally take care of them for him.
The C skill is completely flexible. Perhaps a Tactic skill can be administered to increase the efficacy of a Tactic team, but it’s completely yours to decide.
The Sacred Seal needs to be Atk+3, so he can push his Atk even further. He needs every buff he can get!
This isn’t a perfect set for Henry, and for several reasons. First, it takes a lot of investment. Taking Rauðrblade+ from Tharja is probably a weird decision to make because Tharja is already a superior character to Henry simply because she has better Atk and Spd. Also, if you plan to give him a Tactic skill, you have to make more sacrifices of 5☆ heroes (excluding Atk Tactic) to get them.
However, if you manage to put in the effort, Henry can actually deal some decent damage. With all the aforementioned buffs and such, his base damage can reach as high as 74.
Keep in mind that this set can be applied to any old mage; this is only a way to make Henry more offensive. |
